I wish the commentator spoke English though. |
justjify:I guess the moral of the story is that they are eating lunch ![]() |
EgusiSoup:What language is this please? |
When everyone is complaining about how bad the economy is, you still believe someone that says you're under spiritual attack? If that's true, then 'Nigeria' as an entity is under spiritual attack and the so-called 'men of God' should start by healing the leaders in Abuja first. They're the ones that should provide job opportunities for the populace. Don't fall for their scam bro, they're all about their personal gains. |
macof:I would not insult my culture, and I have every right to state my views in the forum like this just like everyone else. If you kept your opinion to yourself, you wouldn't have started off cursing me for no reason. |
What do you mean attention? Did u mean e.rection? |
macof:I didn't insult a people's culture. I'm from that area and the culture is a part of me. For acting like a senseless bastard in the first place, I have nothing else to talk to you about. |
kaycid77:Wow, I didn't know that. Thanks for explaining it. |
macof:Who the hell is this i.diot. Don't come at me with ur stupidity. Is anyone in ur broke family worth anything? Why act like ure related to them and people's thoughts don't matter? Did I ever say I knew why he refused? What's wrong with me saying why I'd refuse? Why even ask a brainless a.ss-hole like you such questions. Next time, before cursing anyone else for no reason, first wake up your worthless dad and mom from their worthless sleep by kicking them, tell the to sharap if they ask any questions and finally tell them they're id.iots for having you and not teaching you manners. Under aged worthless id.iot with no manners. Don't bother responding, I don't go back and forth with f.ucked up minds. |
OP sef, see as you dey point arrow for the throat and fore-head like say na target. |
timbros:The epistle is intended to create awareness. I wish I could help with his lost MBs. |
orunto27:Interesting. What standards do foreign shoes from makers like Gucci, Nike, Versace etc had to pass to get into Nigerian markets? Now, we have a means of taking our products far and beyond and we are talking about international standards. Are any international standards for shoes? Who sets the standards and what are the requirements? In my opinion, some shoes made in Nigeria are far better than the foreign shoes many Nigerians prefer. The foreigners just take advantage of our slow mentality; "Anything made by blacks is of low standard, anything made by whites is of better standards". Isn't that why some Nigerians would prefer imported toothpicks to locally made ones? "Na oyinbo do am, so it lasts longer and is better". Yeye mentality. If there are some international standards documented anywhere, I'm sure there are talented folks in Nigeria that will go beyond expectations, some working with their bare hands. At the end of the day, would Nigerians appreciate their work or still remain brainwashed with designs from Gucci etc? In my opinion, Nigerians believe too much in brand names versus quality and the Brazilian investors think otherwise. They saw the quality in Aba-made shoes, something an average Nigerian would overlook. That's what makes investors richer, find opportunities where people with ready access to it still cant see it. |
kaycid77:Typhoons are different. Rains are the reasons for these flood. When the roads were designed, were there proper drainage systems considered? I don't blame Jonathan either, but I'd blame those that awarded the road contracts in his local government. Good roads are not just from the shiny tars they manage to put on the ground; drainage measures must be considered as well, especially in a riverine area like that. |
The man looked old even in 1980. He was the 50th Ooni of Ife? Wow, that's really some serious tradition maintained in Ife. |
What kind of lie is this? They are Nigerians, not Nigeriens. Yorubas for that matter. |
Don't abort the baby. I know a nice rich couple that never had kids of their own, and would like to adopt. Why kill a child when someone else is praying for one? |
Dfrenzy:The telecoms networks in Nigeria are scamming everyone using them. Who still keeps track of MB in civilized countries? Several countries have unlimited data, talk and texts for a flat fee per month. In other words, you can talk on the phone 24 hours a day, 30 days a month, use the Internet on your phone and send unlimited number of texts locally for about $50-$60 a month. So, who worries about MB in such places. The most I ever spent on phone was the last time I visited Nigeria about a year ago. Folks are getting milked by the telecom giants there. Sometimes it takes you seeing how things work elsewhere to understand it could be better. |
vayne:If I may ask, who exactly are the 'intellectuals'? I'd assume most of us here are learned enough to be intellectuals in our respective disciplines. So, are we talking about some alien, foreign or heavenly intellectuals? |
Trojan2010:Lol. US embassy in Lagos was like that 12 years ago. Some folks made their living standing in line for folks. I remember paying for that service back then. |
vayne:In my opinion, the awareness has been around for a long time. I've heard of Biafra since I was about 8 years old, now after about 3 decades, it's the same story. So, isn't 30 years enough for the awareness? I believe everyone should fight for what they believe in, that's why I won't blame hardcore Biafra supporters, even though I'm not from any of the Biafria states. To me, the whole "Nigeria" thing is a scam. The British did this to us and left us to deal with it. We are too divided to be together. From when a central government is in place in Nigeria, only a certain region of Nigeria enjoys most of what our 'united' Nigeria has to offer, going back to Tafawa Balewa days. The same region has everything to lose if Nigeria splits. In other words, we are just being forced to be together only for the benefit of a certain region of the country. Nnamdi did his best to create the awareness the Biafra people needed, but what's the point when he only gets media support from those that claim to believe in his dream? His people only supported by yelling on social media and TV. I'd expect a more mature approach versus screaming on TV and social media. Folks died for Martin Luther King/Malcolm X's dreams, but in Nigeria, you're on your own. Everyone cares only about theirs. So, where are the intellectuals that would risk everything for the same Biafra fight that started several years ago, even before some of the wailers here were born? |
Where? At an embassy in Lagos? |
warrior01: |
pjosh1:That shows us how retarded our system is. What happens when your boss derives pleasure in getting media attention than being tactical about his responsibilities? What happens to showing the wanted on an online page, or even on TV. So, I'm supposed to travel to wherever they are to see that small poster? |
toyetade:I would have refused too. So I don't blame him. Too much fetish stuff is attached to the position, I don't agree with voodoo etc, so I'd stay away. Afterall I can afford my lifestyle without dining with some deities. |
Tman66:Many boys will volunteer for that position for a young king like this one, not someone in their 70s chosen by their oracle. |
FRANKOXY:Hmmmmmm |
GistStory:I asked cos I don't know about Uyo. I haven't been there. |
NAIJA40:Which one be battery business again? Nothing wey una no dey wan sell for here. The last one wey I read na somebody wey dey advertise frog intestine. I trip o. |
GistStory:This type of trade fair has been happening in Lagos for over 15 years since I knew about it. Are you saying there's still no such thing in Uyo? |
I don't see the mentions of a lady that stood by him when he went through his issues, why does the topic talk about it like he's giving credit to some woman for standing by him? |
Does Lagos now have its own police force? Isn't it the Nigerian police that's responsible for fighting crimes? Shouldn't the purchase be at the federal level? Another attempt to embezzle. What kind of dumb people do we elect sef? |
I'm glad NL only allows 4 pix. More pix like this will ruin my eyes. |
