Amhappy:wife is not in anyway above tenant. You gets give your tenants quit notice if you wan chase them but a wife can be chased away by her brother in-law sef |
I can understand your situation, it's not easy I have been in a similar situation that made me decide never ever to squat with someone again, can you get a job or afford even if na face to face house |
Have you considered other methods of having biological children, IVF, Surrogacy? Adoption isnt easy over here, which is why people patronize baby factories. |
Kobojunkie:I understand, i do not invalidate your opinion, but the level of cruelty in treating someone badly and that of taking the person's life isn't same. A lot of us might have been angry/frustrated to say awful things to people but taking a life, Killing someone is too evil. |
I do not invalidate your reasons op, but in a country where abortion is illegal, I don't think killing a human being can be justified. A person living with disabilities has right to life. From the point of view of a mother, I don't think it's easy to allow a child to be killed, the mother would rather hope that one day her child will be healed. |
How big is the house? Can you sell part of the land,? Is it possible you rent it out? Can you get a loan and also use the money you get from the rent to pay the loan? |
Tokskob2008:a lot of people don't know that marriage certificate from 'recognized' churches is as valid as the one from the registry. |
This is the first time I'm hearing that it is cooked with tomatoes |
Ejiakusmith:I'm sure he has sisters and also doesn't think they have any right to their fathers properties. OP Is no different from his uncles |
This tradition of the first son inheriting properties alone na wahala. Go and settle with your uncles and ask then what they want. Share what is left equally among you and your siblings so the trend doesn't continue. If na me sha, i will buy land somewhere else and bury my father peacefully |
Rubbiish:she already made mistake truly, someone said she should paste and eviction notice, back date and take a picture of it |
Classyuniquebae:he doesn't even pay anually, he pays every six months, dó i still need to give him 3 months? |
rickleye:true, it could be peer pressure from school, environment etc |
Dialogue won't work, take away everything he likes from him( not food), if possible take him to the police station to see the way criminals are being treated, take him to the prison to see what becomes of thieves, then buy koboko at home, soak in blended pepper and flog him naked, then repeat the process each time he lies or steals, if this don't work then nothing else will. |
Women should stop seeking validation. |
Faderera was an epitome of beauty, an embodiment of character. She was the definition of big, bold and beautiful and was the best beautician in Oleyo town despite only training for three months. She had studied Vocational Education at the college of education and won the ‘Miss Big Nigeria', A beauty pageant organized for plus sized ladies. She used the price money wisely to set up a small but classy beauty parlour that was patronized by people from all walks of life. Despite achieving all these at the age of twenty two, Faderera remained humble and respectful to everyone around her including her childhood friend Labake. Labake had been outspoken and rude as a child and was already exposed to boys at an early age, she was once caught on bed with a married man, stripped naked and chased out by his wife after he promised her a blackberry phone if she agreed to sleep with him. While Faderera decided to further her education after secondary school, Labake got pregnant and was forced to marry her then boyfriend, Kamoru, a motorcycle mechanic. The marriage crashed and Labake returned to her mother’s house barely a year after. All efforts to reconcile Labake and her husband proved abortive even though the latter begged her and insisted he still loved her and didn’t want his child to be from a broken home. After Labake’s marriage crashed, she started to work at Faderera’s beauty parlour as a pedicurist. Then Faderera met Daniel. Daniel was a young good looking Medical Doctor who had just been posted to Oleyo for his youth service. He had come to the beauty parlour twice for an haircut and was impressed to see a young hardworking lady already doing well for herself, he proposed to her and she agreed to marry him. Nine months later, they got married in a low key ceremony and moved to the state capital. The day to day running of the beauty parlour was left to Labake while Faderera focused on her marriage as it was still early. She would visit the beauty parlour weekly to check how things were going. While Labake was also planning to also set up her own beauty parlour as she always made it clear that she wouldn’t ‘serve’ Faderera forever. Faderera was keeping her home and continued to maintain her business and her marriage. She was loved by her in-laws and plans were also in place for her to move her business to the state capital where she lived with her husband. One day Faderera came to work with bruises all over and told her staff that she had a motorcycle accident. Then Faderera became pregnant, and her husband stopped her from going to work as it was risky for a pregnant woman to travel on such bad roads. Labake on the other hand had decided to marry Alhaji Shittu as his third wife and would set up her own beauty parlour too. Then one day the news broke, Faderera had died . This time it wasn’t a motorcycle accident, Faderera had forgotten to drop the house keys for her husband when she went to the market and this upset her husband when she returned, he hit her so hard that she fell down on her head and died on the way to the hospital. Neighbours confirmed that he had been beating her. Baba Kafila their landlord once asked Daniel what his wife’s offence was, he said Faderera needed ‘iron’ hand because she was a beautiful, curvy beautician who could cheat on him if he gives her too much freedom. However when Faderera was tired of the incessant beatings from her husband, she had gone to her religious leader to seek counsel. The latter prayed for her and told her to be submissive to her husband and continue to pray for him. She was told that no man will continue to beat a submissive wife. While Labake left her first marriage due to domestic violence and married a polygamous man ignoring what people would say, Faderera died of being a 'Virtuous Woman’. |
So why did she say she was clout chasing? The people arrested are still innocent until proven guilty |
This girl deserves the punishment meant for kidnappers and rapists, now innocent boys are being held for this, she needs to be taught a lesson. |
He doesn't know it's the bible lol Enjoy the suya and God's word No violence zone. |
kenzysmith:then stop taking alcohol, stay away from friends that visit brothels, is there anything you can do as a hobby? Cooking, dancing, teaching? |
It's so unfortunate that the woman will still return to the marriage. |
LordVoldermort:pm me |
Ken4Christ:we should stop seeking validation Abeg, pastor can say whatever he likes for all I care I won't stay in a place where I'm being treated like trash even if the holy prophet says otherwise, in the end every adult is responsible for himself. |
panpan:she will deny it and fight me for trying to destroy her home, you can't really help who doesn't want to be helped sef, it is what it is unfortunately. |
graphics106:they couldn't say anything, the singer would most likely support her husband and even accuse them of trying to destroy her marriage, I have a close relative also going through domestic violence, she has a good job and can take care of herself yet she didn't leave the man. It saddens me that if he beats her to death (God forbid) he won't even be arrested because who will take care of their children, will I go and drag my relative away from her husband's house? We don talk to her tire yet she would rather stay so wetin make we do? |
Women should stay away from where they are not loved and accepted. RIP to her |
I can teach you Yoruba online |
michael77777:that's the only way he ll stop, verbal warnings might sound like a joke to him. I hate nonsense |
I know someone who declined a job offer at NTA in those days because kumuyi said television is a sin. This television issue was what sent Tunde Bakare out of the church |
