You are dancing around the question by applying a vague term that doesn't apply here.

A Muslim is one who submits to God by definition, but how does that provide evidence for the validity of Islam?

People submit to all various sorts of higher power, by definition they would be Muslims too.

"Submission" isn't evidence for the validity of Islam.

The question is what makes the Quran the infallible word of God, thereby making Islam the right path?
logic, for a person that know nothing before now telling us the stages of human formation in the mothers belly in the desert of the Arabian peninsula of then where no meas of scientific advertisement to study, science has just yesteryear discover this phenomenal.

that is of embryology, and for geography the science just discovered the big bang of the creation of heath and galaxy few years ago but Qur'an has mention this over 1400 years ago.

how could he have know all this if he is the maker of the Qur'an? this can only be know by the creator who know the beginning and end i.e Allah(GOD) and then transmitted to Muhammad as revelations. these are among the miracles of the living witness called the Qur'an.

Christianity predates Islam by a big stretch, If the witnesses when Jesus was on earth wrote their accounts approximately 600 years prior to even the Birth of Muhammad......why should a Christian convert to Islam?

Logically speaking would you trust your immediate brother's or friends account of your life or some future distance relative or non relative in the distant future?
Adam, Abraham, Noah, Moses, Jesus, Mohammed etc were all Muslim i.e people that submitted to the will of God. Christianity was never a religion of Christ.

This Question just popped up in my mind and i couldn't find logical reason to it so i thought of asking my NL people.

Why has God created we humans and what was his aims and objectives in creating us?

What does he expect from us?

Has he created us to be able to achieve his set goals?

Did he just create us to worship and praise him all the time? If yes, then why are we not programmed to worship him alone without having to do other things.

Quran 51:47. We constructed the universe with power, and We are expanding it.

48. And the earth—We spread it out—How well We prepared it!

49. We created all things in pairs, so that you may reflect and ponder.

50. “So flee towards Allah. I am to you from Him a clear warner.”

51. “And do not set up any other god with Allah. I am to you from Him a clear warner.”

52. Likewise, no messenger came to those before them, but they said, “A sorcerer or a madman.”

53. Did they recommend it to one another? In fact, they are rebellious people.

54. So turn away from them; you are not to blame.

55. And remind, for the reminder benefits the believers.

56. I did not create the jinn and the humans except to worship Me.

57. I need no livelihood from them, nor do I need them to feed Me.

Christians believe the bible to be the infallible word of God
Muslims, you believe the Quran to be the greatest book ever written, and that it is also the infallible word of God.

I would like to open this thread for the intellectuals from these two beliefs system to provide evidence to back the belief about their book being the infallible word of God . For all we know Someone with questions might come across this and decide to look further based on what they get from here.
Quran 2:21. O people! Worship your Lord who created you and those before you, that you may attain piety.

22. He who made the earth a habitat for you, and the sky a structure, and sends water down from the sky, and brings out fruits thereby, as a sustenance for you. Therefore, do not assign rivals to Allah while you know.

23. And if you are in doubt about what We have revealed to Our servant, then produce a chapter like these, and call your witnesses apart from Allah, if you are truthful.

24. But if you do not—and you will not—then beware the Fire whose fuel is people and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.

Did allahh speak directly to Mohammed, even once?

Did the entity Mohammed met at the cave of hira told Mohammed that he is jibril?

Did Mohammed ask Muslims to compile his so-called revelations as a single book, or was it the project of the khalifas?

It was not mentioned by Him of such conversations just like Jesus.

Is it the same Quran that said the sperm is formed from a man's rib and backbone? Do you believe the Qur'anic nonsense compiled by illiterate Arabs in the 7th century?

Sahih bukhari Volume 3, Book 31, Number 137 :
Narrated by Ibn 'Umar
The Prophet said, "We are an illiterate nation; we neither write, nor know accounts. The month is like this and this, i.e. sometimes of 29 days and sometimes of thirty days."

How can you take the claims of illiterate Arabs on its face value without second thought because it has a religious package?

Was the Quran inspired by allahh? Did allahh speak directly to Mohammed, even once? Did the entity Mohammed met at the cave of hira told Mohammed that he is jibril?

Did Mohammed ask Muslims to compile his so-called revelations as a single book, or was it the project of the khalifas? We have read your books bro!

Please, that thing you said isn't embryology.

Man wasn't formed from clay, there is no semblance between clay and man at the molecular level.

If man was made from blood clot, then why will a clot kill someone in thrombotic fashion.

The bones also form after skin formation, it forms from the mesodermal layer. All the 3 layers are there at once, nobody is bringing skin from a separate place.

Please, I'm just clarifying not arguing.
sorry you are complicating issues not clarifying, all your fallacy are not scientifically proven nor your analogy were referenced, but let me help u

science has his limitation and reasons that many question than answered, why are molecules formation of your alphakeratine and it matrix are not in your palm what are the semblance of the anatomy of horn in mammals (shape wise). what is the clay formation and it origin.

lame is your clot killing human don't you kno that same water that home fish kill fish.

many limitation of science today is the reason you will die and u know that yo will die today or tomorrow but why cant you refuse to die by the help of anything? im not for argument also but read Quran the manuscript of human.

i hope you know other holy books aside the quran also share similar stories on human creation. meanwhile, there was a bible before quran, so saying how could he have known such is debatable

notwithstanding, you said his friends wrote all what he said, how could one ascertain for sure that these friends didn't add to it or misrepresent his utterances since he couldn't read nor write and hence cant verify if for sure they write exactly as he said?

But bible never speak about embryology even when it came first, because bile was never inspired by God but just a compilation of event by historian of good, bad and ugly

if his friend wrote down wrong information then, that is why today you can verify by the use of scientific procedure we know today. He is master of all.

frosbel2:
"I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not give my glory to anyone else" - Isaiah 42:8

Ask a Christian who his or her Lord is and before you finish the sentence they will abruptly say, in a quite jolting manner - JESUS! Jesus of course.

Got to any church on Sunday and 90% of the songs and praise go to JESUS, testimony to JESUS and JESUS is exalted while the name of the Almighty Creator, God who alone is God is scantily mentioned.

Christians worship JESUS 24x7 even though Jesus said :

Jesus replied, "The Scriptures say, 'You must worship the LORD your God and serve only him.'" - Luke 4:8

The Bible is littered with statements emphasizing the supremacy of God and further buttressing the fact that there is none else besides him in the SINGULAR and not a Trinity.

"I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not give my glory to anyone else" - Isaiah 42:8

God emphatically says that he will not give his GLORY to anyone else and in my opinion, this also includes the MAN Jesus.

God cannot say one thing in the Old Testament ( so called ) and then say something else in the New Testament.

One of ten commandment reads thus ;
"You shall have no other gods before Me."

I fear that Christianity has exchanged the worship of the ONE GOD for a man JESUS and may be continually and unwittingly committing the sin of IDOLATRY.

Think about it and examine your faith to see if you have erred
unfortunately Jesus have gotten all the glories according to so called Christ-like people

Islam started out as a peaceful religion, but later it became very violent. Verses written in the earlier, peaceful period contradict those written in the later, more violent period. Sadly, Islamic scholars resolve the contradictions by picking the later revelations, which are more violent.
ignorant of Islamic injunctions, opinion on half based knowledge on the subject matter, that is just wat u displayed. but am calling you for proper research on Qur'an and hadith, maybe Allah may open you way to salvation.

I was born and brought up into a christain Home.Had my English Name and did Baptism of the Holy spirit but the deception,Fear instigated by Our Fathers in the lord and Hypocricy in Nigeria Version Of Christainty has made me to Lose Interest in IT.
I have come to understand one thing:Religion[Chrsiatanity] has kept the balance between Good and evil...
Religion[Christanity] has made people to be Lazy, made them to live a life full of illusion.
I believe in a super-Natural God who made all things,am not an Atheist but the Hypocricy in Christanity has made me to PULL off this day as a Christain and Rather be a REALIST.
One thing we have as humans is: Freedom of CHOICE and Today i have Choosen to be A REALIST...
It breakes my Heart that some friends,Families will turn against me but like i said earlier above:We all have Freedom Of Choice and i have Choosen Mine..
......................................................................
It’s hard to accept the life we live, as it is. We’ve always been told to have a positive attitude to life. I listen to several of motivational audios and I nod my head gearing myself up in those uplifting words which charge my mind for some few moments.
Later on, the jumping clouds of happy moments vanishes and I am left with my reality. Fear, anguish and sullenness then beam on me.
I’m not objecting the values of these contents or being optimistic generally but it is a fact that when you are REAL with yourself and the life around you, you will keep your mind STRAIGHT and be FOCUSED on working towards a better life than building castles in the air.
Realism is not the same as Pessimism or Atheiesim And realism is best to be adopted in all life situations.
From the minute you open your eyes in the morning. For example, you are looking for a Job and believe this Monday will be better than yesterday just because a motivational book told you so. Rather face the day with what you’ve got.
The real thing is; You are conscious of your situation, you identify your mistakes and tend to build yourself everyday which makes the [today-you] better than your yesterday-you and you set out with a focused mind, not a blurry hopeful mind. You might eventually achieve what you set out to do.
At all times, we should do all that we can do and leave the ones we can’t do.
Nevertheless, I won’t ever want to be a Pessimist or an Atheiest. As I see better side to things (optimism), I want to also be Real and Happy....
Realist in the House pls welcome me and show me love...
I need books on Realisim
#Atheist pls back off!!!
Be real with life and be Happy instead of being a Hypocricy in #Christainity.

NATURALLY? MEN have been the ones pushing and advancing it since inception. Islam was spread by the sword (!) - just like Christianity (oh, wait, those Europeans employed more sophisticated weaponry---and perhaps, greater brutality---in their religious terrorism).

People of all cultures all over the world VALUE THEIR OWN ANCENSTRAL CULTURE OVER OTHERS, and would never give it up to adopt yours, through "love" and sweet words, if you do not employ FORCE and THREATS.

If either Islam or Christianity had relied on "Love " and "Peace", they would have remined local religions (and Christianity, in particular, would probably be a DEAD religion by now).

Christians were a persecuted minority in the Roman Empire---it was when the Imperial family converted to Christianity that it became successful, otherwise, the pagan state would have crushed the strange new religion and consigned it to oblivion.

Christianity, as much as your Islam, succeeded because it had POLITICAL and MILITARY backing---not because of any spiritual supp
Those religions wouldn't have spread "naturally".
Islam by sword? then which sword was used in in Nigeria today that majority are becoming Muslim? which sword was used in EU sates, in USA and all over the country today that Islam is growing faster than any religion.
