Lets get something clear. Peckham is not a true reflection of the ethnic mix of the UK. It is a typical deprived inner city settlement just like hundreds of its kinds scattered around the country. Roll back the years and you will discover that it was once a purely white only residence. What happened there is "white flight" whereby white people gradually moved out of their properties as foreigners in this case Blacks and mainly Naijas came in. It is comparable to places like Eastam in London and some parts of Bradford, Leicester and Birmingham that makes you wonder if you are in Delhi. |
don jon you are obviously on dog poo. you need to calm down and check into rehab. |
Story story, |
It has EVERYTHING to do with radicalism. The government in Sudan is a known sponsor of terrorists. Osama Bin Laden made Sudan his home when he was preparing for the 9/11 attacks. Sudans president Omar al-Bashir is the target of an international arrest warrant. The supporter of APC muslim militants have killed, raped and maimed hundreds of thousands in Darfur. Sharia law is not in place in all majority muslim country but surprise surprise, its fully in place in Sudan. So young man, get your facts right before coming here to spill your rubbish. Otherwise, do the honourable thing and read what intelligent minds write and learn from us. |

two and half years to repair that stretch of road is not out of order. before people start criticising they should realize that its benin to lagos we are talking about which is over 200km. the contractors factor in various issues including weather etc in judging the lenght of time it may take. that said, and like several persons already pointed out, this is not the first time [hopefully the last] that RCC has been awarded contracts to repair the road. they have always done a bad job, which has always goes to pieces come rainy seasons. also do people realize that mr fix it anthony anenih is a significant shareholder in RCC and that during his tenure as minister of works virtually all his road contracts that never saw the light of day were awarded to the same company! |
Afam took the words out of my mouth. The country is not mad YET. It is only confused and delirious. |
Ohisng I am not surprised at your stance on all issues concerning the current government in Edo state. You had stated on an earlier thread that you are the spokes person of the government. You are here celebrating murderers, armed robbers and political thugs. You are a pot calling the kettle black. You line every statement in your posts with insults and innuendos and you deceitfully accuse others of doing the same. What a hypocrite. |
The beginning of the end of nigeria as it is |
No he is green from mars. Oh sorry, i think he is blue or is it purple |
Ohisng the more you make your juvenile posts the more you consolidate yourself as a deluded nincompoop. Your case is beyond redemption. Raising IGR by acting as a dictator. Making tax rises singlehandedly without approval of the state assembly. Tax rises of 1000% way above the level of inflation. What happened to the oil derivation from the fg? Reckless destruction of properties across the state rendering people homeless and penniless due to loss of homes and businesses. The debris from these litter the state capital constituting an eyesore and posing a public health risk with rises in mobidity and mortality from communicable diseaes such as malaria and thyphoid fever. I guess your illiterate boss never realized this. How dare you list shutting down schools as an achievement!! This fool should be opening schools and not shutting them. Will that bring to an end exam malpractice? The whole system we all know is rotten right from the ministry of education, to the WAEC, education supervisors, principals and the culpable students. The only language the socialist dictator understandds is ban this ban that, destroy!! "Oshio-destroy". Why dont you set up a committee to look into why cheating occurs in exams, then set things in motion to reduce or eliminate exam malpractice in the state over a few years. I wont bother glorifying your other points by responding to them. You lack a cerebrum, and as they say never"argue with a madman because people might not know the difference". If you need the source of the eloquently put points i made, there is something that is called google. Go to www.google.com, type in your keywords and click enter. And please dont kill me with laughter by praise singing Bob Izua and Goddy Edosa. You justify their inclusion into your gang in AC. The same PDP thugs that brought the state to its knees, killed and maimed thousands. The same Bob Izua AKA Bomboy, who was strongly implicated in the murder of numerous Edo state citizens including the late MD of Big Joe motors and the brutal assassination on February 22 1992 of the then Oredo LGA Chairman George Idah. You are a disgrace and should hide your head in shame. The blood of these slain people will rise against you if you dont join me in condemning the above thugs. Why should they have the freedom to associate when they denied other people the most fundermental freedom which is to live. |
The roads remain in a terrible state. Nothing has been done to fix it. Yesterday armed robbers attacked commuters in broad daylight dispossessing them of valuables. This happened even when other passangers were watching in the queue. |
Where will the fg get funding for the increase? Me thinks students should brace themselves up for 200% rise in tuition fees. |
Hey guys, why dont we paste pics of nice houses/mansions in nigeria with both interior and exterior views. me thinks nigeria has some of the best house designs in the world. |
I understand most land around the former trade fair at Ekenwa area is Government land. However if poster is genuine, how much is 100*100? |
Would be helpful if you could attach prices to these items. Most are quite good by the way. |
for me there is no panic here. swine flu is not as deadly as the media has potrayed. seasonal flu still kills far more people than swine flu does. most people with the illness recover with or without treatment. besides i am 99.9% sure that swine flu is defintely more wide spread in nigeria than people realize. our health system is too poor to detect the extent of its spread. |
Better still, what is the original / positive news about Nigeria? |
What are you guys on? You talk as if Benin city suddenly dropped from mars! You talk as if Idol worshipping, and all the evils under the sun is restricted to the Binis. The Yorubas [Ijebus et al] are notorious idol worshippers and harbour demonic superstitions. Please be logical |
@ Sky Blue How much more objective do you want me to be nna? I gave you figures, names etc. Maybe you want pictures, video clips, or maybe drag Oshiomh Ole to NL to massage you objective mind. |
Pounds and Euro rates guys |
A young African woman has been jailed for life in the Gambia after being convicted of murdering her wealthy British husband, police have said. William West, 76, a retired property developer, died from a severe head injury close to his beachfront holiday home in the West African country in July 2006. An inquest into his death in Britain two years ago heard his wife Kate West confessed to murdering him with a wooden pestle before setting his body alight. On Tuesday, West, 29, was found guilty of murder and jailed for life by Nigerian judge Justice Joseph Wowo at the Banjul High Court, Gambian Police Force spokesman Sulayman Secka said. West is said to have remained expressionless in court when she was found guilty but collapsed sobbing when told that she faced life imprisonment. Mr Secka said she would be transferred to the state Central Prison in Banjul for the killing of Dublin-born Mr West, who lived in St Helen's Park Road, Hastings, East Sussex. West, who was a mature student at the time, initially told police following her husband's death that he had disappeared after they took a day trip together from their home in the Gambia to Senegal on July 3 2006. Inquiries later revealed that no such day trip to Senegal took place and she confessed to his murder with a wooden pestle, the hearing was told. She then dragged his body down the garden, collected up bundles of logs, leaves and petrol to burn his body, the coroner was told. |
When Lagos becomes like this then the rest of the world will be living in the moon or mars!! ![]() |
