Source of your figure of 500 Nigerians leaving daily please. Is this only those leaving from the airports? What about thousands who emigrate daily through its porous broders? What makes you decide all Nigerians go abroad for economic reasons? The world is now a global village and people move regularly between countries. As those Nigerians leave others arrive on daily basis. |
Poster only wants to generate a reaction by throwing an obviously silly question. |
All of una well so? |
can you show us pictures please. Also those dimensions you gave are they in centimeters or inches? |
One day, we will are take to the streets in civil disobedience. Nigerians patience have been stretched too far. These ass****s should face real justice. |
work of an inside man |

Congratulations to the police. Hope this is a start of good things to come in the state. |
You need to make him understand why you are restricting assess to his favourite channels. Also rather than see it as all bad, you can turn it to your advantage. Tell him if he for example does his home work, completes his share of tasks, then he can have some minutes to watch the programme. You can even add other incentives like toys, out to the park etc. The reward can be proportional to how well he is complying with house/school rules. That way it acts as a motivator. If he does not do as he is told, then no cartoon at all. Withdraw other incentives. Be firm, consistent but fair. Otherwise he might think you are being punitive, can become withdrawn, rebel or go outside the home to watch these programmes. You need to carry him along in whatever approach you use. |
I associate with nice well meaning people irrespective of their country of origin, race, colour, sex, age, educational/social status, etcetera etcetera. ![]() |
@ poster They dont go on to verify the bank details of every applicant. It is done randomly especially when they have reasonable suspicion. However if they happen to contact you bank it will count against you if large monies have been removed after your application was sent. @ iz2much Warn your self. What do you mean "make a real one in 2 days"? Are you encouraging fraud? |
I can see your post have cheered you up. Homo sapiens [you probably belong to the homo erectus species] like you get your highs by trading insults rather than facing the reality you or your family in Nigeria live in. Continue living in your cardboard-induced fantasy land. |
@tpia Wetin be your own self. Life in Nigeria can be depressing so stop moaning. If you want to be happy then stop reading the papers or visiting forums like this or better still so smoke cardboard ![]() |
Am i bothered? Says president Yar a dua. He is thinking of pulling out of the UN for their failure to respect Nigeria ![]() |
What is todays rate for the pounds and euro please |
Funny virtually the whole government at the time are indicted and the captain of the ship OBJ does not get a mention, not even a telling off. If you ask me, the money used in that investigation [which never gets published as it is several millions] could have paid the salaries of several lecturers, of hundreds of nurses in a rural hospital or thousands of teachers in a local primary school. |
still waiting ![]() |
@ asha80 You go begin build bus [plane] stops for air be that. If them leave you, you go pose on top of maggi! |
@THE AMAKA You don join the bandwagon of people wey they post any and every thread for the politics section just because it is the most visited. You topic has little relevance to politics. Very soon person go cough and post am for politics. |
@ nuzo It is not exactly stale news. It is several times worse now than it has ever been. It took a friend 2 days and 1 night to travel from lagos to benin recently. He as the poster said some do slept in the coach overnight. Absolutely pathetic. Billions of dollars have been budgetted to rehabilitate that stretch of road from the time of Anthony Anenih then Fed. Min. of Works under OBJ. Nothing tangible has ever been done. It is alledged that some locals whose youths help/are paid to push broken down vehicles from the mud/potholes sabotage the miniscal efforts at patching the roads especially at the Edo and Ondo end. They destroy the tarred roads at night, so they can maintain their source of income. @ asha80 You need to donate your brain to science research cos it appears an empty space in your skull will serve more purpose. So we should all take to the air because of bad roads? Do you read what you type at all. |
ehhhhhh, should this not be in the travel section? |
A big blow to the right wing critics/cynics |
@ texazzpete absolutely spot on!! ![]() |
Whats that thing between your ears? A brain or an empty space? |
Hmmm, food for thought |
As the executive governor and "commander in chief" of Edo state, Oshiom Ole should take responsibility for a break down of law and order in the state, just like he will receive kudos if the state becomes a stable and safe place. He is not above reproach. He was not elected into that office so we all can come to NL and lavish praise on him as Ohisng does. And Ohisng are you paid to jump to his defence at the slightest opportunity. Will oxygen cease to go into your lungs if for once you chastise Oshim Ole or his government. Is your vision so blurred with psychological cataract that you tie every opponent of Oshiom Oles policies to the PDP? Grow up man. |
