Only South Africa clearly has the infrastructure to hold to Olympics which is an even bigger event than the world cup.

That simply was the reality on ground in South Africa. Imagine 7 of the 10 out-field players in the Spanish team play for Barca. The others we Capdevilla, Ramos and Alonso. Assuming it were Barca we would have had players like Messi, Alves, Toure and Abidal also in the team who arguably are better players.

Spain and the world owe their thanks to the dream team that is Barca and who are poised to win the La liga again next season.
