"The Honourable minister's response to the controversial vote of no confidence passed on him today by the lower legislative chamber of the Nigerian National Assembly is well-scripted and well put succinctly.

Apparently, Mr. Yinka Oyebode did a nice job because responding to such a nauseating and unprovoked action of the House of Representatives against Dr Kayode Fayemi and the Honourable Minister of State requires great tact and diplomacy which are all embedded in Mr. Oyebode's press release.

Nonetheless, I am highly disappointed in Mr Femi Gbajabiamila who moved the motion requesting that a vote of no confidence should be slammed on the duo. His action is unbecoming of a constitutional lawyer he prides himself"

PoliticsRe: Reps Pass Vote Of No Confidence On Fayemi, Bwari by sojiboy(m):
The pain they re nursing is that the Ministers through the Permanent secretary had notified house of Rep of His Absent, they won't be around for the meeting due to their ealier scheduled engagements. But Gbajabiamila is saying he didn't see anything wrong is the letter wrote, but he saw the signatory as a lower officer, who shouldn't sign anything to the house of Rep because Speaker personally signed the letter to the Ministers. Their points isn't that the Ministers stole money or they are incompetent, but because the Ministers couldn't make it to the chamber and yet allow Permanent secretary to write in replying them.
All the House of Rep members did was just show of power and personal Aggrandisement.
That won't deter the hardworking Ministers... The ministry has recorded several progress from Increament in IGR contribution to making Nigerian mining sector known in the World, to several minerals discovered, intl engagements for The progress of ministry, digitalizing mining and Mining sector and many More.
They can continue Passing Votes... Where the real Votes counts is in progress of mining sector.
PoliticsSilverbird Award: Fayose Isn't Worthy Of It, He Bought It With Ekiti Money by sojiboy(op): 7:58am On Feb 26, 2018
*Silverbird Award :Fayose isn't worthy of it, he bought it with Ekiti Money.*

A Peoples Democratic Party youth organisation in Ekiti State under the umbrella of Ekiti PDP Youth League has described the award of Silverbird TV Man of the Year 2017 given to Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State as a "Cash and Carry" award which was purchased using millions of Naira belonging to the poor masses of Ekiti people.

In a release signed by the duo of Adekunle Agboola and Sunday Awe, the youth described Governor Fayose as not only 'unfit' for such a coveted award, but has not done anything impressively as a governor to justify his been accorded such an award going by his abysmal performance in all areas of human development over the last three years.

The youth however challenged the management of Silverbird Organisations to tell Ekiti people and indeed Nigerians what parameters were used to justify the award on Governor Ayodele Fayose.

"The award in itself is lack in integrity, the process was also frothy and ultrapadded going by the character of a person the award was given to. Evidence have also shown that Governor Ayodele Fayose purchased the award with a whopping sum of ₦15 millions belonging to the poor masses of Ekiti State."

"This is a man who has almost ran Ekiti State aground due to his unfriendly economic policies, wasteful spending and extravagant lifestyle. Should a man that is owing workers several months of unpaid salaries and pensions be considered for a man of the year award? Should a man who has not employed a single youth into the state civil service be considered for a man of the year award? Should a man who have shot down all the tertiary institutions in the state be considered for a man of the year award? Should a man who have chosen to be hostile and unfriendly to investor be considered for a man of the year award?"

"These and many more are questions for Silverbird Organisations to answer and even go forward to convince the good people of Ekiti State why Fayose deserved such an award.

"While we respect the independence of Silverbird TV as a respected media organisations who is at liberty to carry out her business the way it feels, it is also good for the management of the organisation to refrain from such ludicrous personality that can easily removed the love many Nigerians have for it over the years."

"As youth organisation within the PDP in Ekiti State, we are bold to say that the Silverbird Organisation has drag her reputations in the mud all in the name of looking for cheap money to run his media outfit from dubious character in the political arena of Ekiti State."

"May be we should conclude by helping Silverbird to say that Governor Fayose was considered for the award based on his boisterous tendencies against the personality of President Muhammadu Buhari and the recklessness at which he has govern Ekiti State over the last three years. We are saying that his political gangsterism eventually paid off by been awarded the coveted Silverbird Award Man of the year 2017. We hereby condemned the merits of the award with all the gusto and fancy accorded it."

PoliticsEkiti State Didn't Not Have Any Hand In Accreditation Of EKSU College Of Medicin by sojiboy(op): 7:24am On Feb 13, 2018
Before u get wrapped in Lere O-lie-yinka's lie here are facts.

Ekiti State govt has no hand in this accreditation of medical college whatsoever. Not even a single building has been erected in the school of medicine since inception of this govt except words of discouragement from govt.

According to source when Fayose was meet during the accreditation process, he categorically tell the chairman Council to allow the students for anywhere they could that there is no Money for accreditation despite collecting 11billion naira from Federal Govt.

Medical college wants the accreditation done hence the Medical STUDENTs were forced to 50,000.

Then their school fees was increased from 160,000 to 360,000

Plus other fees that I can't lay my hand upon now to add up and mr Lere is here celebrating what his paymaster has no hand in. Enough of all these deceit.

Let's be realistic for once, we don't want this kind of continuity.

Pls, let's moderate our lies to the public. This doesn't show we have the fear of God in us. Thanks

Attached above is the document to support my facts.

PoliticsEkiti People See What Fayose Has Collected Yet Owing 8-9months Salary by sojiboy(op): 11:24am On Feb 08, 2018
Reminder !!!!!!!

It's necessary we remind Ekiti people again that Fayose has got the following funds under Buhari

1.Ecological fund -2billion
2.CBN small scale enterprise loan-2billion
3.First bailout-9.6billon
4.Second bailout -8.8billion
5.First Paris Club refund-9.8billion
6.Second Paris Club refund-4.9billion
7.CBN loan for capital project 10billion
8.The first Federal road refund(Ado Ifaki road)-5.7billion
The second Federal road refund collected by him yesterday -11billion
9. 1.3billion Budget assisted fund for 13months-16.9billion

If you add all these funds together ,you will get 80.7billion naira.

We shouldn't forget that the aforementioned fund doesnt include the statutory allocation of 3.5 to 4.5billion that comes into the state in the last 38months ooo.

We should also not forget that he's yet to declare our IGR since his inception of his administration despite collecting tax from our children in primary and secondary schools, 500naira on each load of sand and gravel, 1,000naira on granite, 1000 naira on each cow slaughtered at abattoir etc.

Yet, this governor is owing to 6 to 8months salaries, 7 to 9months deductions, 8months pension arrears and no gratuity for retirees and no employment for our youths since came on board.

Ekiti people say no to continuity of suffering and deceit.

*Fayemi gives free UTME forms to 5,000 admission seekers*

Posted By: Odunayo Ogunmola, Ado-Ekiti On: February 5, 2018In: News, News Update

The Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, at the weekend, began the distribution of free Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms to eligible admission seekers.

Fayemi also kick-started a free Computer-Based Training (CBT) training for candidates to boost their chances of success at the examination organised by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

The daily free CBT training is held at JKF Leadership Centre on Ajilosun Road, Ado-Ekiti, the capital.

About 5,000 candidates are expected to benefit from the scheme.

Addressing beneficiaries from all 16 councils, Fayemi expressed delight at the large turnout of participants.

The former governor said the distribution of free UTME forms was one of the policies of his administration which, according to him, was allegedly stopped by the Ayo Fayose administration.

To ensure speedy registration of participants, the minister promised to empower the centre with more facilities.

He said: “I am happy to see you here. I would have loved to sit with you at this training, if not for my tight schedule. When we were in government, the state used to be responsible for this scheme. But the situation has changed today.

“I want to assure you that I am committed to ensuring that nothing inhibits your determination to achieve your dreams. It is our commitment and passion for education. This is part of a number of steps we are putting in place for you to actualise your dreams. Education is our pride in Ekiti.”

A beneficiary, Esther Ibitoye, thanked the minister, saying she would not have had the opportunity, if Fayemi had not come to her aid.

Another beneficiary, Moshood Adabiri, promised to perform well in the examination to justify the minister’s investment in the scheme.

The centre’s Programme Officer Bisi Dada and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth leader Femi Ogundare said beneficiaries were drawn from the 16 councils and 177 wards.

They said some youths, who had obtained the forms from other sources, also enrolled for the CBT training.

To ensure a wider reach, the officers pledged to begin a mobile CBT training.

PoliticsFayose’s Kangaroo Panel Recommendations, A Joke Taken Too Far by sojiboy(op): 8:16pm On Jan 15, 2018
PRESS RELEASE

Fayose’s kangaroo panel recommendations, a joke taken too far

The attention of the Media Office of the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has been drawn to the pre-meditated verdict of the Ekiti State Government, as contained in the white paper submitted by the panel set up by Governor Ayo Fayose to investigate the finances of the state between 2010 and 2014.

While we believe it is part of the responsibilities of the state administration to look into the finances of the state at any point in time, we are also of the belief  that such must be done in a very responsible manner devoid of prejudice, witch hunting and a calculated attempt to victimise a citizen.

In this particular case, the entire process is discredited right from the beginning, as the only agenda of the panel was to rubbish Dr Kayode Fayemi’s public service record.

One is therefore not surprised at the recommendations of the White Paper: It only goes to confirm our initial position that the panel was compromised right from inception and targeted against Dr Fayemi.

In his desperation, Governor Fayose chose the crude and ignoble path towards hitting a perceived political foe.

In the process, they ignored the rule of law and behaved as if the court does not matter. Thus making their actions subjudice  to the court.

Fayose was however misguided into believing that he could pass a death sentence on Dr Fayemi’s public service with the white paper. This is not only laughable, but ridiculous, as neither Governor Fayose nor his paid agents has the power to bar anyone from political participation.

The entire process and the character personae involved are discredited and since it is impossible to build something on nothing, legally speaking, their recommendation is not only null and void, it is ultra vires.

We urge the teeming supporters of Dr Fayemi, the good people of Ekiti State and the general public not to be disturbed by the development. It is simply another act of illegality, from an administration that has elevated political debauchery to state craft.

It shall not stand.  It is nothing but a joke taken too far, perhaps joke of the century.

‎Stop Divisive Activities In Ekiti APC, JKF Movement Tells Ojudu

JKF Movement, a political group canvassing support for the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has asked Senator Babafemi Ojudu to stop fuelling activities capable of causing divisions within the ranks of the membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State.

A statement by the group Publicity Secretary, Kunle Omotayo, in Ado-Ekiti, alleged that a group working for the Special Adviser in the Presidency was behind the online publication accusing Fayemi of alleged doctoring of the list of appointees into boards and commissions by President Muhammadu Buhari three days ago.

The statement condemned the accusations contained in the online publication, saying it was a calculated attempt to set APC members against the minister and caused divisions within the party.

The statement read:

"The attention of the JKF Movement has been drawn to an online report about the complaints of Senator Babafemi Ojudu and his group alleging that the Minister for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, doctored the recently released list of Ekiti State appointees into boards and commissions in the federal ministries and agencies.

"We charge Senator Ojudu and his group to stop this unwarranted blackmail and divisive behaviour which can unnecessarily heighten tension within the party.

"Right from the moment the list was released, the Ojudu group took to the social media, pouring invectives on the Honourable Minister who they wrongly accused of putting his aides and loyalists on the list and that none of Ojudu's supporters was on the list.

"For the avoidance of doubt, APC is one in Ekiti and the party in a press release signed by the party's PRO had in clear terms applauded the appointments by thanking the President.

"The new appointees on the list are all eminently qualified citizens of Ekiti State and are bonafide party leaders and members.

"It is therefore an embarrassment to the eminent sons and daughters so appointed for Ojudu to condemn the process leading to their appointments instead of congratulating them.

"We all know that political appointments cannot go round at once as this is a gradual process which shall be done in phases as announced by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. It is also a fact that even if the President gives all appointments to Ekiti, it would still not go round.

"We wish to admonish Senator Ojudu to check himself and by now, he ought to have known that he is a paperweight in Ekiti politics and the earlier he stops equating himself to Fayemi who is a Minister of the Federal Republic and a former Governor on whose back he climbed to the Senate and to limelight, the better for him. Ojudu should stop biting the fingers that fed him.

"We urge those who had been deceived by Ojudu by promising them appointments to have a rethink and cooperate with the leaders of the party to forge unity as more appointments are still on the way.

"We can only achieve success as a party in the 2018 election if we form a united front and not by concocting stories to cover up unfulfilled promises to innocent party members when the person making the promise is not in a position to fulfil same.

"We congratulate all Ekiti federal appointees once again and wish our party members a happy and prosperous New Year full of glad tidings."

In 2014 Dec, the debt profile of Ekiti was 30Billion and as at Dec, 2016; 2years after, the debt has further increased to 85Billion.
Ask yourself, who is governor of Ekiti State from 2014 to till date?

Another commendation for HE Dr Kayode Fayemi from a senator (Ben Bruse) that earlier raised alarm on an alleged fraud in his ministry.
In his words he commend Dr. John Kayode Fayemi and His level of transparency.
*Recall Fayose and his goons had earlier lied that Dr. John Kayode Fayemi has a university in Ghana, till date they ve not been able to substantiate it.
*Recall they lied that Dr. John Kayode Fayemi bought 50million Bed in govt house despite being the landlord of the house with all documents of the house they stil. Cant produce the receipt.
* Fayose and his accomplices lied that Fayemi planted 2billion flowers till date they can't substantiate this and lastly they have lied that Dr. John Kayode Fayemi stole SUBEB money but Access bank has REAFFIRMED for the third time that JKF didn't collect the money but Fayose collected the interest of the money while the main money was returned since it was lying idle in the account....
In days to come check OUT another lies against John Kayode Fayemi as his enemies can't really read and understand his body language as to if he is contesting for Ekiti Governorship election OR NOT,so dey want to paint him in bad light, but who God has blessed, no man can curse.?
I wonder where they where when This same John Kayode Fayemi brought the ministry that USED to add meagre of 700million to the IGR to a ministry that adds about 2.5billion and the dead ministry has been revived by Kayode Fayemi who has attracted foreign investors.
But for the fine gentleman who Fayemi is, he can't go talking like a rabble rouser, his level of education isn't like that of Fayose a man of double phase with no respect for elders.
Again Fayemi has been vindicated, let's wait to the next line of lies from Fayose and his media Maradonas.

The Ministry of Mines and Steel Development is set to launch the Integrated Automation & Interactive Solid Minerals Portal (IAISMP). The official launch of the portal is slated for Thursday, 9th November, 2017, at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel Abuja, by 9am.

The Integrated Automation & Interactive Solid Minerals Portal (IAISMP) project, first of its kind in the Nigeria mining sector, is designed to provide credible and timely information about the sector, respond to online enquiries, generate reports and statistical data, perform business processes e.g. Mining Licenses and Mineral Titles Application, Online Payment of Royalties & Fees and Revenue Generation. It also has GIS mapping representation of mineral resources and their location within the country.

The web portal is a one-stop shop for mining and mineral related transactions which is geared towards advancing ease of doing business in Nigeria’s mining sector.

Billions waiting to be embezzled
Why not ask, find out before conclusion. Wait is anything done for free even in free town. All I think shud be basis of argument is the usefulness to mining sector, how it works, is the cost worth it, is it actually what dey said dey will do that dey did and many questions. Diezini went wt all of ur billions some years ago nothing was show for the general people apart properties in his name and family's, here u ve innovative ideas for mining progress u re crying foul, where there is none, can we learn?
