MIRACULOUS escape of the founder of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman and his family from gunmen attack on Friday could be attributed to an act of God.

His SUV Car was riddled with bullets, although the bullets could not penetrate because it was a bullet proof car, he managed to escape but his aides were not as lucky.

An eyewitness narrated how the convoy of Apostle Suleman escaped an attack in which seven of his aides were killed.

SOJ WORLDWIDE had reported how Suleman’s convoy came under fire on Warrake Road in Auchi area of Edo state on Friday.
The gunmen suspected to be kidnappers had shot directly at vehicles in the convoy. A source said the attackers, who had been trailing Suleman from Benin City, opened fire around river Ole.

Source told our corresspondent that Apostle Suleman opted not to go through Benin-Auchi road because of the bad situation of the road.
“He was returning from Benin to Auchi after a programme, he took Ifor Road in Ondo State due to the bad condition of the Benin-Auchi Road.

The gunmen who had been trailing him opened fire on his convoy when they got to River Ole; Apostle Suleman drove the front vehicle himself while two vehicles followed behind; they slowed when they got to a place that had speed breaker.
“The gunmen who thought he was in one of the back vehicles opened fire on them, and in the process killed police officers, two drivers and a lady. On hearing the gunshots, Apostle Suleiman. accelerated and escaped from the scene.”

The source said when the attackers realised that they missed their target, they made U-turn and headed towards Benin but the vigilante and security team comprising police and soldiers went after them.
“When the gunmen discovered that security were after them, they hijacked a bus, killed one of the female passengers and used others as cover for escape. But one of them has been arrested.”

In a Twitter post, Shehu Sani, a former Senator, corroborated some of the things that the witness said.
“I have just spoken with Apostle Suleiman. He confirmed to me that it was an assassination attempt on his life and that some of his aides lost their lives. He also confirmed there was arrest.”

Police Public Relations Officer in Edo, SP Chidi Nwanbuzor, said the police were on the trail of the attackers who fled.
“He (Apostle Suleman) was returning from Benin City when hoodlums attacked him at Auchi; during the attack three policemen, two drivers, a female domestic staff, were killed while one another domestic staff got missing during the attack.”

He said shortly after attack, the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the area responded alongside his men, leading to the killing of one of the hoodlums and recovery of one of the vehicles used during the operation.

According to reports in the media on Tuesday October 18, 2022, a 37-year-old Sᴏᴜᴛʜ Aғʀɪᴄᴀn wOᴍᴀɴ broke the Guinness World Record by giving birth to ten children.

Gosiame Thamara Sithole, a resident of Tembisa East in Johannesburg, gave birth via cesarean section to seven boys and three girls at a Pretoria hospital.

After the reported birth, Teboho Tsotetsi, Gosiame’s spouse, told Pretoria News:


“It’s seven males and three girls. Pregnant for seven months and seven days (29 weeks). I’m glad. I feel sensitive. I find it hard to speak. 


According to the statement, Tsotetsi made many attempts to visit Sithole and the babies at the hospital, but she never gave him her location or updated him on their well-being.   


Gosiame Thamara Sithole from Tembisa Township in Ekurhuleni of the Gauteng province of South Africa has beaten Malian Halima Cissé who gave birth to nine children in Morocco last month to claim the title.
Her husband Teboho Tsotetsi has been reported as saying that she was delivered of seven boys and three girls through Caesarean section 29 weeks into her pregnancy.

“It’s seven boys and three girls. She was seven months and seven days pregnant. I am happy. I am emotional. I can’t talk much. Let’s talk again in the morning please,” Tsotetsi told the Pretoria News.
Reports say doctors had earlier told her this year that she was carrying six children (sextuplets) while further scans showed that it was octuplets.
iol.co.za reported Sithole as saying that two of the babies could not be detected initially because they were inside the wrong tube.
In an interview during the latter part of her pregnancy, she reportedly said the pregnancy period was tough as she had sleepless nights thinking.
“I am shocked by my pregnancy. It was tough at the beginning. I was sick. It was hard for me. It’s still tough but I am used to it now. I don’t feel the pain anymore, but it’s still a bit tough. I just pray for God to help me deliver all my children in a healthy condition, and for me and my children to come out alive. I would be pleased about it.

“How would they fit in the womb? Would they survive? What if they came out conjoined at the head, in the stomachs or hands? Like, what would happen? I asked myself all these questions until the doctor assured me that my womb was starting to expand inside. God made a miracle and my children stayed in the womb without any complications,” Sithole said.
Her unemployed husband has decided to do away with fear and embrace the children.
“I could not believe it. I felt like one of God’s chosen children. I felt blessed to be given these kinds of blessings when many people out there need children. It’s a miracle which I appreciate. I had to go do my own research on whether a person could really conceive eight children. It was a new thing. I knew about twins, triplets and even quadruplets.
“But after I found out that these things do happen, and saw my wife’s medical records, I got even more excited. I can’t wait to have them in my arms,” Tsotetsi said.

Meanwhile, Professor Dini Mawela, the deputy head of the school of medicine at the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University described Sithole’s case as a rare one mostly occasioned by fertility treatments.
“It’s quite a unique situation. I don’t know how often it happens. It’s extremely high risk (pregnancy). It’s a highly complex and high-risk situation. The danger is that, because there is not enough space in the womb for the children, the tendency is that they will be small.
“What would happen is that they would take them out pre-term because there is a risk if they keep them longer in there. The babies will come out small, chances of survival compromised. But all this depends on how long she carried them for

“Remember, when they do fertility treatment, they inject as many eggs as possible to increase the chances of conception because the assumption is that some of them would die. But they might all survive. So, I don't know whether she conceived this naturally, which is possible, or whether this is a product of fertility treatment,” Mawela has been quoted as saying.
The babies will however be in the incubator at the hospital for a considerable time before they are discharged.

Fast rising Nigerian artiste, Habeeb Okikiola with the stage name Portable has openly endorsed a presidential candidate ahead of the 2023 general election.

HUMAN Rights Activist and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Femi Falana has condemned the burning of the oil vessel in the Niger Delta area and also condemned the appointment of Tompolo to secure the Niger Delta against oil theft by the Federal Government.

Falana, who was on Channels Television on Monday also condemned the massive oil theft at the expense of poverty stricken Nigerians.
“In the first place, the President has demonstrably lost confidence in the competence of the military hence a contract has been awarded to a non-state actor, Mr Government aka Tompolo who is said to be making these discoveries now.

“That itself is a colossal embarrassment to a state that is supposed to be functional,” he said on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily programme on Monday.
Falana said the contract awarded to Tompolo is a loss of confidence on all the Service Chiefs who should have resigned.
“Ordinarily, the Service Chiefs should simply have resigned that Mr President you have lost confidence in us,” he said.

In August, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, Mele Kyari, justified the government’s decision to award a multi-billion naira pipelines surveillance contract to Tantita Security Services led by Tompolo.
Tompolo’s firm recently made startling revelations on crude oil theft in the Niger Delta area. He said about 58 illegal oil points have been discovered so far since the operation to end oil theft on the waterways of Delta and Bayelsa states began.

Security agents recently destroyed a vessel used for crude oil theft off the Niger Delta creeks after the vessel was reportedly arrested by Tompolo’s firm.
The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Lucky Irabor said that the swift destruction of the oil bunkering vessel is in line with the “rules of engagement” and no investigation was needed to set the vessel ablaze.

However, Falana flayed the CDS, saying only the Federal High Court is empowered to order the interim or final forfeiture of any vessel that was used for conveying stolen crude oil.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria, who said security agencies committed arson and acted in contrary to section 111 of the Armed Forces Act which prohibits the setting ablaze of a vessel, demanded the sacking of the CDS.

Falana maintained that President Muhammadu Buhari must ensure that all those who are indicted in the act of oil theft are fired, named and shamed noting that it cannot continue to be business as usual.
He said oil theft has been ongoing in Nigeria for the past 22 years and blamed the malady on “systematic collapse” and connivance of military and political leaders alongside oil companies lifting Nigeria’s oil illegally to ports in the United States.

Oil theft has made the headlines in recent times with the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State demanding the unbundling and privatisation of the NNPC.

Federal High Court, Ikoyi, has found embattled filmmaker cum socialite, Olajide Kareem, popularly known as Seun Egbegbe; guilty of just one of the 44 count charges against him.
The popular filmmaker, who is the boss Ebony Productions and four others had spent 42 months in prison custody, after he was arraigned by the police for alleged fraud involving N39 million; $90,000 and £12,550.
According to the police, the Yoruba filmmaker fraudulently obtained the money from over forty Bureau De Change Operators in Lagos between 2015 to March 2017.

Justice Oluremi Oguntoyinbo, who discharged the four other suspects, however sentenced the filmmaker which by prison calendar, Egbegbe has spent the years with extra one year and four months in the prison. He was set free yesterday 11th October 2022.
She declared that 43 of the 44 count charges were crumbled because of lack of witnesses to substantiate their claims.

Justice Oluremi also decried that the prosecuting team failed in the responsibility to produce evidences, to be backed with witness on the counts 4, 19 and 21.
Lamenting that police tampered with the money recovered from the suspects, Justice Oguntoyinbo also ruled that all the money recovered from Egbegbe as evidence should be returned to him.

A fresh crisis is brewing between the Labour Party and the Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Organisation following plans by the latter to unveil a campaign council which the party described as alien, The Vanguard reported.

The Dr Doyin Okupe-led Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Organization yesterday sent out invitations for the official unveiling of the P.O Presidential Campaign Council scheduled to hold on Wednesday.

However, Vanguard’s check at the Labour Party National Secretariat, in Abuja, revealed that the party is not officially involved in the planning nor has it sanctioned the programme.

An invitation card signed by the Director General of the Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Organisation, Dr Doyin Okupe, announced that the unveiling ceremony will take place at 12:00 Noon, at the Golden Hall, Chelsea Hotel, Central Business District, Abuja.
The invitation tagged: “The Director General Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Organisation, Dr Doyin Okupe Cordially Invites you to a Pre-Campaign World Press Conference and the presentation of the Presidential Campaign list …” was signed by Emeka Edmond Onwuocha, on behalf of Okupe.

However, party insiders who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media because “the matter is being sorted out” said the party is not party to the unveiling.
One of the sources said, “As I speak to you, the Labour Party has not okayed any list of members of the Presidential Campaign Council because there are yet-to-be-resolved issues.

“Most of us are of the opinion that our campaign council must be all-embracing and enjoy the national spread. We must not repeat the mistakes of the political parties we want to replace.
“Our Presidential candidate is from the South, the DG of the campaign is also currently from the South. The provisional list I saw leaves out most of the north.

“There is no official of substance from the North East, North West and the North Central for example.
“How can we campaign in these places when we know what we are up against with Atiku and Kwankwaso in the North and Tinubu in the South?

“Even the Diaspora Committee earlier inaugurated is almost exclusive to one section of the country.”

Here’s everything you need to know about vagina discharge, according to experts:

1. VAGINA DISCHARGE IS NORMAL

Discharge is a clear or whitish fluid that emerges from the vagina.
Vagina discharge is not only natural, but also common during the monthly cycle.

2. DISCHARGE HELPS KEEP VAGINA HEALTHY
Because of its capacity to clean itself spontaneously, the vagina has been referred to as a “self-cleaning oven,” and discharge plays an important part in that.

According to Dr. Alyssa Dweck, vagina discharge involves “mucus from the cervix and fluid from the vagina itself.” Discharge is “primarily a mechanism for the vagina to keep itself healthy and maintain a proper microbiome.”

The fluid also helps protect against harmful bacteria and infections, according to the Cleveland Clinic. More specifically, the vagina microbiome contains “a ton of great bacteria called Lactobacilli.”

The bacteria produce lactic acid, which research shows kills or inhibits the growth of many other bacteria, keeping them in check.

3. IT HELPS WITH SEX

Vagina discharge also helps with lubrication both for sex and to keep vaginal tissues from becoming dry and itchy.“Women need some moisture in the vagina to be able to have comfortable sex”.

4. HOW MUCH DISCHARGE YOUR BODY PRODUCES CAN VARY

The amount of vagina discharge a woman’s body makes varies from person to person. Some naturally produce a lot of discharge, while others make only a little. Discharge quantity, as well as texture, can also change at different points in the monthly cycle — and, for those of reproductive age, those changes can even let you know when you’re about to ovulate.

For example, as you get closer to ovulation, vaginal discharge increases and becomes more sticky. But right before or during ovulation the consistency shifts, becoming thin, watery and slippery like raw egg whites.

5. CHANGES IN VAGINAL DISCHARGE CAN SIGNAL AN INFECTION

The healthy bacteria in vaginas do a good job of keeping harmful bacteria in check. However, “anything that alters that, whether it’s a tampon, douche or sex can change that,” by throwing off the delicate balance and leading to irritation or in some cases, an infection.

Changes in the usual color, texture or odor of your vagina discharge can be a sign of infection.

Normal discharge may have a slight scent, for example, but it typically doesn’t have a strong odor. “Scent becomes an odor when there’s an infection”.

The Presiding Judge of Osogbo High Court, Justice Adepele Ojo has on Tuesday, 11th October, 2022 adjourned hearing on the murder case of Timothy Adegoke to Tuesday, October 25th 2022.

This information was made known to SOJ WORLDWIDE correspondents on their arrival at the courtroom by the Court Clerk on Tuesday morning.

Recall that the Hilton Hotel owner, was arrested on November 15 2021, over the death of Timothy Adegoke, the OAU MBA student found dead at the Hilton Hotel, Ile-Ife, Osun State, eight days after he was declared missing.

In the meantime, members of the deceased’s family and the public have since insisted on justice for Timothy.

ISAAC Fayose, younger brother to the former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has pointed out thar the All Progressives Congress, APC candidate, Bola Tinubu will be ahead in the 2023 presidential election.

Fayose said Tinubu is leading the pack of presidential candidates because Igbos are not cooperating.

He said the sit-at-home order in the Southeast and the agitation for Biafra would relegate the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to second place.

Speaking on his Facebook page, Fayose said the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar is third in the pack of frontline contenders.


He said: “As of today, October 6, 2022, Tinubu is still leading, leading so far, because he has structure, he has the money, and he has the goodwill.
“You know why Obi is still second? As long as you still do your sit-at-home, as long as you keep breaking our tents from campaigning, Obi will be second, Atiku will be third.

“Tinubu is leading now because the Igbos are not cooperating. They are breaking tents, they don’t allow them to campaign, and the bulk of the votes is coming from there.”

On Saturday, October 8, 2022, social media was awash with the news of rumblings in the Labour Party leadership against its Presidential candidate, Peter Obi over the alleged diversion of campaign donations to his private account instead of the official party account.
 
In a Press Release by the Media Office of Peter Obi/Datti Yusuf Campaign Organization, Obi said “there is no iota of truth” in the allegation.

“Our disposition at the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Organisation has always been not to give any prominence to gutter reports, especially coming from obviously enlisted hirelings, but we are constrained to make an exception in recent reports on social media and other fora, of not only inter-personal rifts between personalities and structures in our stone-cast team because of the premium we place on accountability and transparency as a reformist movement and also to disable any criminal attempts to confuse the public on our official donation platforms,” the statement reads.


“We need to state that there is no iota of truth in such publication, all persons, departments and programmes of the Obi-Datti Campaign and the Labour Party are working in seamless synergy, towards providing a government that will meet the desires of the overwhelming majority of Nigerians, at the next elections.
“The official payment platforms for those who wish to donate to our cause, are those available on the official website of the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign website,  https://www.obidatticampaign.com, and are perfectly in tune with the law, and designed for swift, secure, effective and transparent transaction.”
The LP presidential candidate’s media office said the outsourcing and use of “the platform of a CAC registered, legitimate and competent Company, Ativo Ltd Quickraiz Collection for the Presidential Fundraiser, was deliberately to encourage transparency, effectiveness and professionalism in the process”.


“We will not for any reason, be distracted by concocted trash from the evil machinations of jittery opponents,” the media office said.
“Our commitment remains unshaken, in setting examples for probity, and in pursuing relentlessly, victory for our popular candidates in the Presidential and indeed, in all the coming elections.”
The media office added that Ativo has also released a statement debunking insinuations that Obi is the owner of Ativo.
“For the benefit of the general public, ATIVO Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of Electronic Payplus Limited that started operation in Nigeria in July 2018 after
its incorporation as a corporate entity,” the company was quoted as saying.

THE Osun State Police Command has reacted to a viral video on social media that some thugs attacked the convoy of the Presidential Candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC),, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Osun.

FORMER President Goodluck Jonathan aide, Reno Omokri has descended heavily on the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi saying he, "Obi is a disaster".

Omokri on his official Twitter Page also posted a video of the former National Chairman of Labour Party, Dan Anyanwu where he said Obi as a governor of Anambra State frustrated the Labour Party from using the Ekwueme Square in Akwa.

A Nigerian man has claimed that he landed in trouble abroad over a video he recorded showing the dirty part of Europe.

According to him, the authorities dragged him to court after he posted a footage on TikTok which showed that European countries also have unclean environments.

RUMBLINGS that may tear the Labour Party (LP) apart reared its ugly head as party leaders are angry with Peter Obi over campaign donations going into his private account instead of the party's account, Podium Reporters reported.

According the Podium Reporters, the fratricide ongoing in the Labour Party between Peter Obi, a recent migrant from the PDP who grabbed the party’s presidential ticket, and founding members of the party led by Prof. Pat Utomi has taken an ugly turn as the former Anambra Governor, who faces allegations of staging the unlikely run for the presidency to fatten his bank accounts, moves to corner all donations by linking a preferred private account for deposits sourced from public fund-raising efforts for the campaign..

Multiple sources confirmed to PODIUM REPORTERS that the feud, which began when Obi started to sideline the leadership of the Labour Party in crucial functions of the campaign particularly fund-raising, was compounded this week when dissatisfied foundational members of the Labour Party frowned at what they called “the diversionary and corrupt management of donations” by the candidate and his henchmen.

According to reports, Obi had compelled the usage of one UBA bank account tied to Ativo Ltd in all public fund-raising efforts of the campaign, acting in opposition to the wishes of other members of the party, particularly those he met there, who preferred Labour Party’s official bank account for better transparency and joint management.


Obi’s actions fueled insinuations that he is running a one-man show focused on expanding his personal fortunes, even if the campaign ends in failure as it looks likely to.

“It is unfortunate that Obi has decided to run a one-man show, despite profiting from the generosity of those of us he met in the party,” an aggrieved member who craved anonymity told our reporter. “It is almost as if he is merely using the platform and this presidential campaign to raise money and take care of his boys, the ones he brought from the PDP.”
“Far from the well-known practice that political parties raise funds for campaign and manage the same, Obi has insisted that private accounts unknown to the party be used in receiving all funds raised from the public. None of the leadership of the party is a signatory to these strange bank accounts; only Obi can withdraw and disburse the funds as he wishes. This is now how to manage a campaign. It is fraudulent and we have resolved to resist him,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, Obi has revved up his fund-raising tactics after facing criticism for charging Nigerians up to $1000 to attend an event organized to ostensibly outline his agenda, something he is yet to present despite many vague promises.

Obi, who is no stranger to financial scandals with a prominent feature in the infamous PANDORA PAPERS leak, has ignored the protests of the other members of his party and continues to freeze them out of his operations as a candidate.
“Apparently, he lacks the competence for inclusive leadership. He came into our party, took our ticket, and is now using our platform to raise funds that only he can account for. A man that wants to halt corruption in the country is perpetrating actions that promote corruption in his borrowed political party. That is the irony of Obi’s candidacy.”

IT is longer news that ASUU has been on strike since February 14, 2022 despite all negotiations and pleas by notable men and women including First Class Monarchs in Nigeria.  ASUU stood their grounds against the federal government.

The comments of Nigerians on Social Media and withdrawal of some university showed that Nigerians are getting bored and worried on the predicaments of Nigerian students.
Can't ASUU change their tactics from stike actions to enable our students fulfill their goals in life while their negotiations continue with the federal government?

ASUU losing its relevance, becoming a nuisance by Adesoji Omosebi

AUGUST 16, 2022 was a sad day for the family of ex-Fidelity Bank Driver, Segun Oladosu when his 18 months of old son, Solomon Oladosun went out with his elder brother to buy biscuit at 20, Irepo Street, Opposite Molete Baptist Church, Challenge, Ibadan, Oyo State.

According to Segun Oladosu who narrated this pathetic story to SOJ WORLDWIDE Corresponet, children were playing in front of their gate when a truck with house blocks was parked.

Unknown to the Driver, Abdulrasaq Olarewaju who was said to be an Islamic Cleric, Solomon's left leg was under the tyre when he moved. He crushed the left leg.

The Solomon who was the last child in the family had his left leg crushed beyond what can be put together. He is crying daily from excruciating pains.

The Doctor advised the parents that unless the leg is amputated, the young Solomon will bleed to death, they had to sign agreement for the leg to be amputated at the age of One and a half year.

What a sad story for this little boy at that age.
Solomon is still at the Hospital, Ibadan Central Hospital, Ososami, Ibadan as at the time of filing this report with his mother beside him.

It is meaningless to arrest the driver because he had nothing to contribute to the hospital bills spent so far at the hospital.
Solomon's father has exhausted all his life savings to make sure his child is alive, according to him he has borrowed hundreds of thousand Naira making all expenses running into millions.

He is now crying to good Samaritans to come to his rescue to save his son's life.

A fatal accident occurred at about 7.50am on Thursday, September 29, 2022 opposite Oriental Hotel in Lekki, Lagos
In the video sent to SOJ WORLDWIDE, one man, dead or alive was carried into a waiting Ambulance while the Driver of the Hilux Jeep was trapped under the truck.  Efforts are being made to bring out the driver as at the time the video below was sent to our correspondent.

The source wrote,
*LAGOS:* A serious accident occurred at about 0750hrs this morning at Sandfill opposite Oriental hotel, inward Lekki. It's between a lorry and Hilux van, the van ran into the stationary lorry. The driver of the Hilux is still trapped inside the van.
Effort is on to safely remove him while LASTMA officers are on scene managing the situation effectively.
Please drive with caution on approach."

ASUU no longer needs sympathy, it is like there is more to the strike than the present logjam with President Muhammadu Buhari administration. I cant imagine that ASUU calling for revitalization of University system and the same time helping to destroy the students they said their struggles is meant to protect.

They have taken Nigerians for granted, and to add insult to injury, the government they are contending with has lost touch with the reality.

The truth must be told, this government cannot solve ASUU's agitation except if they are ready to empty the treasury to solve their grievances alone at the detriment of security, health sectors and the civil service,  infrastructural developments and other sectors in the economy.


ASUU has gone too far beyond  what we can bear, they have taken Nigerians to ransom for too long.
Enough is enough!
People's support for ASUU is majorly based on sentiment, it is as a result of the government irresponsibility to the yearnings of the people considering the economic hardships, insecurity of lives and properties confronting the populace.

Non performance of Buhari administration has made every Dick and Harry celebrities.  For you to become a celebrity, you have to criticise the government of the day not minding the capacity of the government to meet ASUU's demands.
I paused and gave a thought to it if there are no economists among ASUU educated elites to know that their agitations was at the wrong time when the economy is bleeding.  ASUU who are the employees are up in arms against their employer, the federal government who are running the economy on deficits with debts mounting up daily.

These respected lecturers could not see reasons with the government even when there was natural disaster threatening the existence of mankind in the name of COVID-19.  This was a time in history that people across the universe were struggling for survival, yet ASUU could not lay down their arms to reflect on the calamity confronting mankind.
I am not speaking for the government or the Minister of Education who is not concerned about the education of millions of Almajiri kids and others who are the tools being used to kill innocent Nigerians and milking the resources that could have been channeled to educational development and other populist programs.
I am in defence of our children whose lives are being wasted daily without remorse from the government and ASUU. You didn't insist on your rights when the economy was bouyant, it is now when the economy is on its knees that heaven must fall on all of us including the students.

Among damages done as a result of this senseless strike action includes:
1) Thousands of students lost scholarship opportunities abroad at the time they needed it most.
2) They are no longer employable in financial institutions like the banking and Insurance organizations where Entry Level age is pegged  at 26 no matter your grade whereas contestants to the seat of power had no age limit.  
3) The Landlords would not say because ASUU is on strike and pardon the students from paying their rents.
4) The needless strike action has ruined many businesses and many means of livelihoods, these include,  commercial bus operators,  POS Operators,  Restaurants,  Banks,  Business Centers and many others.
5) ASUU leaders should understand  that Nigeria is for all of us who are being oppressed and marginalized daily.

Let it be known that ASUU is fighting a battle it cannot win by always embarking on strikes.  In fact,  all Nigerians ought to be on strike considering the pains we are all going through daily.
President Muhammadu Buhari is not playing a fatherly role as a President,  the father of all must be more concerned about the future of Nigerian youths. What stops the President from meeting ASUU and have a mutual discussions and unveil what Nigeria is passing through at this difficult times on the table.

ASUU should sheathe their swords and adopt other options different from incessant strike actions that is doing more damages to our students than good.
Rome was never built in a day,  I would advise the students to prevail on their lecturers to resume rather than attacking the government.  It takes two to 'tango'

If all other options fail and ASUU refused to resume work,  I will advise Buhari to disband ASUU,  sack the Minister of Education and give the ASUU President the treatment Babangida gave to Tai Solarin by appointing him the Minister of Education so that he can attend to ASUU demands with dispatch as a Minister of Education. 

Solarin was a foremost critic and torn in the flesh of IBB administration. IBB established Peoples Bank and  Tai Solarin was appointed the Chairman of the bank.  Solarin of blessed memory was caught sleeping in most of board meetings, he was forced to resign because he could not understand the workings of the bank.

Today, Peoples Bank was milked to death that most of our youths never knew that there was a time we had a bank named Peoples Bank with branches in every state in Nigeria.
It is easy to tackle and criticise but it is not easy being on the driver's seat.

A young man identified as Opeyemi Olufemi was arrested with Church tithes and offerings containing different denominations of cash amounting to N620,115.00 stolen from the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Ikeji Arakeji, Osun State.

According to a reliable source, Olufemi was intercepted by the policemen on stop-and-search patrol along Igbara-Odo/Akure highway with a motorcycle and a bag containing the huge cash.

"The suspect Opeyemi Olufemi was intercepted by policemen on stop and search duties along Igbara Odo/Akure Road, he was riding on a motorcycle with a school bag containing different denominations of Naira notes.

He could not explain the source of the money nor give accurate account of the total amount of money in the bag. He later confessed to have stolen the money from a church offering vault at CAC church Ikeji Arakeji in Osun State. The money was sorted and counted by police and it amount to #620,115.

He stole including people's prayer requests put inside the offering."


How he was able vanish into thin air is the mystery the police needs to unravel for the general public.
