IN a follow-up to our earlier news of a jealous housewife who drove herself to death while chasing her husband who was in company of a suspected side-chick, SOJ WORLDWIDE findings revealed that the deceased and the husband had been dating when they were students of University of Calabar (UNICAL) as Law students.
Their courtship eventually ended in wedlock with two children.

According to a report gathered by SOJ WORLDWIDE correspondent, the deceased received a call from one of her friends whose identity was not know as at the time of filing this report that she found a lady in front of her husband's car.

Instead of the woman to be patient, she gave her husband a hot chase which eventually led to her untimely death.

The lady escaped after the woman had an accident.  Although, the husband stopped to rescue the woman but it was too late.  The woman died.

Who is to be blamed, the housewife, the husband, the informant or the suspected side-chick who may not even be a lover

Reacting to the accident, some tweeps had knocked the husband while others blamed the deceased for her actions.

A tweep, @jooryui, said,
“The husband will not forgive himself knowing that his actions directly or indirectly caused his wife’s death.”

Anotehr tweep, @blezybest, wrote,
“Now, she is gone. Although, on the husband’s side, it is better not to live a suspicious life. We are all jealous by nature (both males and females). Even God is jealous but overdoing it is a big problem for humans.

“May her soul rest in peace, regardless. May we not end up in a marriage filled with distrust and infidelity. Sh*t could be frustrating and unbearable. However, if sh8t happens, caution yourself not to let it kill you psychologically or completely. Nothing should be more important than your life.”

Accusing the deceased’s husband for his wife’s death, @mrmacigo said, “It is a pity the so-called husband has succeeded in killing his wife over a lust for another woman .As the coast is clear, let him wed the woman behind the lost of his lovely wife.”

“A little patience and a little time to think would have stopped this avoidable death. Sad occurrence indeed,” @cchrislenny tweeted.

Also blaming the deceased, @peterokojie8 said,
“The woman should have waited for her husband to return before taking any action. See where her impatience has landed her now. May her soul Rest In Peace.”

“This will never leave the man and side chicks head forever. Hope the man is happy now? Messing with peoples emotions not knowing how they will react should be really considered by people,” @lillyexquisite said.

A jealous middle-aged housewife lost her precious life while in hot chase of her husband whom she spotted with a woman in front of her car in Calabar on Sunday, September 18, 2022

The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Cross River State, Maikano Hassan, has confirmed the incident.
The Sector Commander, who spoke with Vanguard, yesterday, said the incident was caused by over-speeding.

He said the incident involving a Toyota Highlander, which occurred on Murtala Muhammed Highway in Calabar, claimed the life of the lone female driver who veered off the road into a ditch by the road.
His words: “Though the woman was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but she was said to have died few minutes later due to the injury sustained from the incident.”

It was gathered that the woman was said to be in pursuit of her husband, who was alleged to be with a “side chick” in his car when she lost control of her vehicle, killing herself in the process.
A source who didn’t want her name in print told our correspondent that the woman sighted her husband leaving SPAR shopping mall in the company of another female when she tried to block her husband’s car with the Toyota Highlander she was driving in.

The source said: “Her husband was said to have manoeuvred his vehicle out of the attempted blockade then took the Murtala Muhammed highway, with his wife in serious pursuit.
“In a bid to outrun her husband, she lost control of the speeding vehicle, veered off the road and slammed the vehicle on a tree, damaging the vehicle beyond repairs and also killing herself,” the source revealed.”

Missing 16year old Anjolaoluwa Abayomi Kalejaiye has been found in her boyfriend's house in Ode Remo, Ogun State, Ogunupdate reported.

A popular United Kingdom based Nigerian DJ, Olaniyi Oladigbo popularly known as DJ Ola has committed suicide.

The incident occured on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

His friend of 19 years, Philip Oyewale gave a detailed information on the incident that led to the sudden death of DJ Ola whom he said has been complaining of depression before he finally committed suicide.

In a message monitored by SOJ WORLDWIDE correspondent, Oyewale gave discreet account of his relationship with the diseased and his family.

One death, too many!!!
I was in a prayer program yesterday, when the wife of D J Ola, called. I declined the call and she sent me one of the most distressing text ever; ‘ I just lost my husband’. I quickly went out to verify the rude joke. With tears, she explained the circumstances that led to his death. I will be addressing three issues in this write up. The man called D J Ola, the cause of his death and lessons for all.

I met D J Ola about 19 years ago. He was always full of life. Before he started his D J bussiness, I knew him to be a workaholic. From Peke to support work.
He was always willing to help others. I can’t remember how many newly relocated Nigerians that he introduced to me. He will make sure they get job, house and even bring them to church. He will not come to church, but he will always refer to our church as the best church in town.
When he started the DJ Bussiness, he will leave no stone unturned to persuade people to attend his show. He has literally made myself and my wife to attend his late night shows. Because he will fight with you if you didn’t attend. He was passionate about his bussiness. He loved it and would do anything to deliver.
Niyi can talk and if you don’t have luxury of time, don’t venture to start any conversation with him. Just greet him and go. He was a man of the people. As a matter of fact, one of the most popular Nigerians in Liverpool. He was loved by many and of course he made so many enemies with his outspoken tendencies.
I must quickly add that when he makes mistakes and you make him to realize it, he will apologize and relate with you as if nothing ever happened.

Niyi was married to his beloved wife, Hellen. I can categorically tell you, he loved his wife and children to bit. He was a responsible father. He will do anything to protect and provide for his family. He adored his wife. He hated it when you report him to his wife. He loved her and we that were closed to them know it. Let me move to the next point, the cause of his death.

The cause of his death
Contrary to what has been circulating on the social media, Niyi has always been dealing with depression and insomnia.
He had on several occasions threatened to kill himself. Any little thing, he would say, ‘I will just kill myself’. I remember telling him one day in my office with the wife present, that he needed mental health assessment.
I instructed the wife to encourage him to see the doctor. Since his demise yesterday, I gathered he had attempted to kill himself few times without success.
He sent messages to few people a night before, telling them he was depressed. He sent a message to his wife and children also, telling them he loved them but really depressed.

Personally, I noticed during the son’s tenth birthday thanksgiving in the church on the 28th August, 2022, he was not himself. Niyi will always make a scene with his dancing. That day he was too quiet. And I was thinking, this man eventually is growing. I narrowly missed the hint that could possibly have averted the ugly incident of yesterday.

Lessons to be learnt
There are many lessons one can learn from the passing of D J Ola. I will try to enumerate few.
1. It’s good to enjoy life to its fullest. Niyi did what he loved and enjoyed it.
2. It’s good to be good. Niyi was a good man. Always willing to help.
3. It’s paramount for all of us to take our mental health seriously. That someone appears happy on social media doesn’t mean they are happy.
4. It’s important for us to always speak out. You will not be helping yourself or your spouse if you keep quiet about certain things.
5. If anyone threatens to kill himself or herself, report to the appropriate authorities. You may be saving a life.
6. Sometimes, you can not manage mental health issues with prayer and spirituality alone, please, seek medical intervention.
7. Let’s us be kind to one another. Comments, criticism and unhealthy competition must stop.
8. We must advocate for, if there’s nothing like that before, for a forum where our people can share their concerns without being scared of being laughed at, made ridicule of, e.t.c
9. We must pray always for one another.
10. We must genuinely care for one another. A little smile and words of affirmation can safe a life.

In conclusion, today is D J Ola. Who else do we know is hurting and silently crying for help? There’s a great need for us to come together as Nigerians in Liverpool to love and support one another.

A single mother identified Olaitan Adonis has committed suicide after her boyfriend, identified as Ola Saheed allegedly used her funds to marry another woman.

Olaitan, who had a seven-year-old son, was in a serious relationship with the young man and was saving money in his bank account. He however used the money to marry someone else over the weekend.

 Upon receiving the news, Olaitan, who was devastated by her lover’s betrayer, was said to drink snipper to end it all.

One of her friends siad" “I heard they were together last Thursday, September 8, they even spent the night together, but on Friday, a friend of hers told her the guy is getting married on Sunday, September 11. She was said to have consumed a poisonous substance and died the following day, Saturday, September 10.”

The employer of the deceased who also spoke on the tragic incident, said,
“My salesgirl has been giving him money from my shop for upkeep, but he squandered the whole money. She even sent him N10k on Friday. After she ended it all, we called him and he said it’s none of his business.”

The only sin of Jomiloju was because he was born in Nigeria otherwise, how could this little boy be having this harrowing experience in the 21st century in a country that prided itself as the giant of Africa?
I shed tears listening to this conversation between father, son and one of the kidnappers. No information yet that this innocent boy has been released as at the time of filing this report. 

We hope our already overwhelmed law enforcement agents will do all it could to set Jomiloju free unhurt.

OYO Police Command after discreet information announced that they have located the family of man whose corpse was found on his bed at Apete area, Ibadan, Oyo State after four years f searching for his whereabouts..

A statement by the police in Oyo State said family members of the deceased confirmed that the deceased’s name was Aderemi John Abiola and that he was last seen around 2018.

The statement signed by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Adewale Osifeso, said the discovery was a result of “solid partnership and provision of credible information to the Oyo State Police Command.”

Oyo Police Command said: “Anchoring on the strength of solid communal partnerships and provision of credible information to the Oyo State Police Command, on Sunday 04/09/2022 at about 1400hrs, representatives from the Landlord/ Landlady’s Association of Idi-Orogbo, Adeosun, Life Forte Area, Awotan, Apete, Ibadan reported a case of suspected sudden and unnatural death at Apete Divisional Police Headquarters.

“In swift coordinated response to the information provided, the Divisional Police Officer and a team of crime and forensic detectives approached the three-bedroom block residence of the deceased and found his remains glued to his beddings lying upward with no visible signs of struggle at a glance.

“Preliminary findings from residents of the community and the driver’s license found in his wallet revealed that the deceased was indeed Aderemi John Abiola and was last seen around 2018, a fact corroborated by family members of the deceased when contacted by detectives of the Command attached to the SCID.

“Furthermore, the Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Police Command, CP Adebowale Williams while appealing to well-meaning members of the public for assistance regarding the provision of useful information has also directed the immediate transfer of the case to the Command’s apex investigation body, the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).

“In furtherance of the above, the scene has since been cordoned in the interest of public health and safety to enable the completion of the investigation aimed at demystifying the possible cause of death.

“Lastly, the case is actively monitored with the assurances of detailed updates provided accordingly, please.”

JANET Oluwafunsho Adeniyi popularly known as Funsho Adeniyi or Funsho Ogungbe has been declared wanted by the Law enforcement Agents for alleged kidnap of twin kids in FTC, Abuja.

The incident occured on June 2, 2022 according to a viral video on Social Media she kidnapped two six-year-old children at gunpoint.   She carried out the acts with three gunmen right in front of their father's house at Amman Pepple Estate, Abuja at about 3.pm.

The kids were dropped from their school bus when the incident occured. The gunmen were able to overpower the security men and the driver of the school bus.

A reward of N1,000,000 is for anyone who knows the whereabouts of the suspect who was said to be hiding somewhere in Lagos.

THE Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali has ordered the suspension of two Supernumerary Police (SPY) Officers, with immediate effect, for breach of the provisions of the Police Act, 2020, and the Nigeria Police Guidelines for



The Spy officers were captured by the Inspector-General of Police in a video posted by one of the officers in a viral video on August 3, 2022.





Force Public Relations Officer CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi in a statement said the Supernumerary Police, by the combined effects of the Police Act, 2020 and the Nigeria Police Guidelines for Recruitment/Promotion/Discipline of Supernumerary Police (SPY),2013 was established solely to complement the services of regular Police Officers when needed by Ministries, Departments and Agencies/Multi-National Companies, and Banks who make requests and upon approval, pay for their training and cover their emoluments for the period of their engagement. (Sections 21-24 of the Police Act, 2020).





Adejobi said It is equally important to mention that in line with Section 25 (2) (3) of the Police Act, 2020 and the Nigeria Police Guidelines for Recruitment/Promotion/Discipline of Supernumerary Police (SPY), 2013 issued by the Inspector-General of Police (Guidelines for SPYs), the mode of dressing of SPY police mandates its SPY officers above the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police not to wear uniforms.





“Similarly, extant laws delineate the Supernumerary uniform. It states that they must be on their approved uniform, ash coloured shirt with “SPY” inscriptions all over, over black with shoulder badge carrying the word “SUPERNUMERARY”.

“Above all, they portrayed themselves in the viral video and other videos as undisciplined and unprofessional, in contravention of the Police Social Media Policy, with acts glorifying ill-gotten wealth and ill-morals, which has received wide condemnation from members of the public.




‘”The Police hereby calls on all Supernumerary Officers to adhere strictly with extant laws as strict sanctions would apply to erring officers. The Force is similarly revisiting other matters of infractions against members of the Supernumerary Police with a view to handing out necessary sanctions to other defaulters.”

We heard of a police officer who was promoted for rejecting bribe of huge amount of US Dollars from a robbery suspect.
Another feat was performed during the course of the week when a Police Patrol team stopped to assist a motorist along Kaduna-Abuja Hughway to fix his tyre. 

Considering how dangerous the highway is, the officers need special commendation from the IGP and every well meaning Nigerians.
We are beginning to see new improved and friendly Police Officers in Nigeria.

I woke up this morning to watch this video clip captioned, "North, the burden on Nigeria." This could not be a Photoshop but a reality.  They are everywhere, East, West, North and South of Nigeria.

Seeing these children living on alms and begging for a living as a tradition has become a monster our leaders have to crush once and for all.

These children who were not taken care of since the day of their births are the ones who becomes hardened criminals today. This is because they were born into hardships from the beginning of their lives, they grew in it, therefore, death means nothing to them unlike children who were properly trained by their parents.

Northern leaders should be held responsible for the calamities that befall Nigeria today.
It will be a futile efforts fighting terrorism if these issues of uncontrolled births is not urgently checked.  It is not enough to have children, the most important aspect of having children is to have the ones you can educate and train.  Killing all the bandits troubling us today will not stop the menace of these bloodthirsty killers unless it is dealt with scientifically with wisdom.

The Almajiris we could not train yesterday have become our tormentors today, this is because death means nothing to them, they have been experiencing hardship, the first day they were born.  They were only trained to believe that those who are not of the same faith or religion with them is an infidel, he or she must be killed. 

They made them to believe that when they kill other faiths, you kill for God forgetting that all of us came from thesame root.  We should live as brothers and sisters no matter your faiths. Our political leaders, for their greed and selfishness have set the Muslims against the Christians vice versa making them to believe that if you are not a Christian, you are an unbeliever and if you are not  ya Muslimou are an infidel you must be crushed.  These are the evil doctrines given to these kids as they grow up.

There is urgent need for the Federal Government to tame these maladies before it consumed all of us.
Considering the above, I will suggest a law
* Making it an offence seeing kids begging for alms on the streets.
* All school age children must not be seen on the street during school hours.
*  Birth control should be made compulsory.  It is necessary today considering the economic hardships people are facing that its end is not in sight. In the next 10 years if the population of the country is not checked it would have risen to between 250 to 300 million.  If Nigeria cannot control 200 million population now, is it when we are 250 million and above?
* Parents should be arrested to explain the delinquency of their children anytime they are caught for any crime related issues.
*  Compulsory free education for primary and secondary students.
If you watch this video, you will understand the roots of criminality in Nigeria and if it is not checkmated now, the future of Nigeria will be more chaotic than we are experiencing today. 
These children are the easiest tools being used by the terrorists making lives horrible for all of us today.

It was on Monday, indigenes of Ogbomoso staged protests in their thousands against the killings of their illustrious son, a Hotelier, Olugbenga Owolabi, final year student of LAUTECH identified as Rachael and a Despatch Rider by bloodthirsty gunmen.

SOJ WORLDWIDE reported how the Hotelier was abducted by the gunmen same day he returned from the United States along with Rachael who works in the hotel.  They never came back alive, they were wasted by the kidnappers despite the payment of N5 million ransom.

We also reported the audio conversation between the gunmen, Owolabi and a negotiator who was the Hotelier family member.  The negotiator was cursed and abused by the gunmen while the negotiation was going on, yet they were wasted because they could not raise the N50 million ransom demanded.

Ogbomoso indigenes, while protesting issued curses on the perpetrators of the evil acts as can be seen and heard in the video clip below.

I got this message on Facebook as follows:
"Olugbenga Owolabi was kidnapped on the same day he arrived ogbomoso from his base in Maryland, USA . He was gruesomely murdered after the kidnappers have collected a huge sum of money as ransome.
Those of you shouting Jagaban/Shettima or Atikulated this is what you are asking for, But almighty God will surely disappoint you all
Both APC and PDP brought this evil on Nigerians, One of the party has the sponsor of bokoharam as Vice Presidential candidate. ����
Ooh Nigeria, who did this to us", said Solomon Solohit.

A report reaching SOJ WORLDWIDE gave a sordid report of a Jeep vehicle found in a river between the back of Hon Rotimi Makinde House and The High Court along Ife-Ibadan Expressway, Ile-Ife, Osun State.

The corpse and the car are still there at the time of filing this report.
The car Registration Number is:  LAGOS JJJ 102GY.
According to a reliable source the car must have been swept into the river as a result heavy downpour on Thursday in Ife through the Expressway bridge. The flood must have covered the bridge making it impossible for the driver of vehicle to know there was a ditch.
According to a distress call sent to SOJ WORLDWIDE by Makinde from Lagos, 

"Above was a report made to me by my P A in ile ife residence ..i understand there is a vehicle and a corpse behind my fence on the river that passes behind."
The family of the deceased may have been looking for him endlessly,
"I guess the family of the deceased may have thought he was kidnapped or something," Makinde said.
Another source in Ile-Ife told SOJ WORLDWIDE that the rain was heavy on Thursday and that the driver may not have known that there was a ditch under the makeshift bridge that has not no side defence that can prevent any incident.
This is to call on the Police, Fire Service, Osun State Government and Fire Brigade official's attention to visit the spot of the incident before the body decomposed further.

AKWA Ibom State High Court presided over by Justice Bassey Nkanang on Thursday sentenced Uduak Akpan to death by hanging for the murder of University of Uyo graduate of Philosophy and a job seeker, Iniubong Umoren.

Umoren was killed in April 2021. She was job hunting while awaiting mobilisation for the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.
There was confusion in the Court as Akpan was sentenced to death by hanging. He attempted to escape shortly after the sentence was announced by the trial judge, Justice Bassey Nkanang..
Our correspondent reports that it took the intervention of the police to foil the attempted escape.
