Well, some people don't see any big deal in it but I as a person will stubbornly refuse such thing, I'll wait till you are ready and if my parents has to assist you then it shouldn't be beyond ordinary normal assistance expected from the bride's family. To those ones who want a settled, happy, lovely home unlike those including the OP who likely are from broken homes;try to know what works for your home and know that both parties must be ready to make sacrifices to keep the home.
