Its been otherwise described as ascension into heaven, into "the clouds", but this all sounds a little suspicious to me. While I certainly believe the event occurred, I sometimes wonder if its an event that humanity has slightly misinterpreted overtime because of religion. What if the ascension of Jesus was really due to incredibly advanced technology or spiritual abilities where he ascends into a spaceship? In the history of humanity we have often described the stars and the universe as "heaven", and I wonder if that is the case here. What if the clouds were emitted by a spaceship to hide it? Or what if the clouds were really just advanced technology that transported Jesus into space, or a spaceship?

When the Bible states that Jesus ascended into "Heaven", is this actually a reference to him ascending into a spaceship?
