all of that is not really our problem.... advance countries are embracing science while black race still embrace religion in the 21st century . the religion that offer nothing or explain nothing about humanity than fairy tales and superstitions

government all over the world steal public money just they its not has obvious as the ones in africa and its obvious in africa becos the people are poor .... imagine what africa will be like if people like eistein, faraday, bill gate etc are from here ...the things is we also have people like that in africa but they have chose not to use their brains to change africa, they have diverted it to worshiping god and waiting for him to give them money and food

africa problem will only be solved when black people start realizing that god will never do anything for them when they have the brain to go out there and make a positive change
I partly agree with you.
Yes,we have wasted money on religion and other irrelevant frivolities.
I disagree with you on your argument against spending money on roads.
These are basic infrastructures and we cannot afford to neglect them.
The developed countries already have the basic infrastructures,so they can afford to spend huge sum of money on scientific research.
We need to be able to do both at the same time,by cutting out unnecessary waste.

Useless party.
Their only job is to oppose GEJ's policies, whether right or wrong.
"Creationism is also not perfect" which oppose many peoples believe that everything god created is perfect

i dont believe in evolutionary neither do i believe one invincible god created everything and let his own creations suffer for nothing .... but if they ask me to pitch tenth btw science and god ... i will chose science cos it has been able to explain "successfully" how the universe works in over 500years than religions or goddism whatever has done in over 10000years
CREATIONISM-we both agree that it is not perfect.
I don't believe in it either.
EVOLUTIONARY THEORY-it is also not perfect.
It is the result/inference derived from incomplete/inaccurate scientific knowledge.
They are both wrong.
but atleast its better than telling me that there is an invicible god somewhere in the sky that created everything including the virus that caused AIDS yet ask someone to find the cure
None of them is fool-proof.
Evolutionary theory has giant loop-holes that weakens it.
Creationism is also not perfect,so i don't see why anybody show favour one over the other.

Dolemite: Years and years of evolution....
Evolution?
Even the propounders of 'evolutionary theory' are still skeptical about it,yet some people have taken it as principle.

pleep: Nigeria has a defense pack with Ukraine, what does that mean? They will ally with us in a war against France?
I think it is just for the supply of weapons.
The Nigerian govt has rejected Numerous military pact offers from the United kingdom and washington.
We will never subject our country's integrity and sovereignty to any foreign control, which is what cameroon did with france.

mu2sa2: Fighting boko haram is now a money-making venture. One trillion naira!!! The double standard is criminal - you shake hands with niger delta terrorists who declared war on the country and now playing the hypocrite. But the shenanigan will end shortly- let's await his campaign trip to Borno and Yobe in 2014 - he will eat his word. Squandering one trillion. Just like that. A third of that money spent prudently in NE will end the poverty and deprivation. The elders hav spoken, let Gej listen to wise counsel.
what has your governors done with their federal allocation?
Your governors have swindle you all.

snydergp: Do you even know why a country keeps foreign reserves because that money is mostly there for guarantee of future payment of goods and services and to maintain currency stability, not for military spending support no country with a credible finance sector will ever use the reserves in such a irresponsible manner so stop displaying your ignorance here.

You cannot spend more then what u receive from taxes otherwise you will end up like Greece or did you forget the banking crisis Nigeria was in a few years ago.

Oil is no longer as profitable for Nigeria because there are many new far more stable producers like Ghana and Angola who is set to overtake ou as the biggest producer in Africa in 5 years time even US are importing less from nigeria and will become self reliant by 2017.

The fact remains SA's military spending is $2bn higher then Nigeria's with a smaller armed force.
we are already diversing anyway.
Our manufacturing base is increasing,we also have a lot of solid minerals yet untapped.
Agricultural exports is also increasing.
We are also set to overtake southafrica in few years time.

No he is not.
Besides his resignition was borne out of survival instincts.
He wouldn't resign,if he wasn't going to be impeached.

andrewza: That makes no sense. With a larger population you have a higher tax base. Nigeria should have far out striped SA long a go. Yet SA remains on top. And will remain there for years to come.
Sorry, the remaining length of years of SA's reign as Africa's largest economy is numbered.
The whole world including southafrica knows that.

United kingdom is no longer the 6th largest economy in the world.
Brazil has overtaken them.

Just wait and see what Eko Atlantic will look like.
God bless us all in Lagos.
Eko ni koko!
lagos can do without FG allocation?
Lol.
The last time OBJ tried it,Tinubu nearly ran mad.
Besides, most of the so-called investors in lagos and in Nigeria at large, were wooed to Nigeria by the FG under the able hands of the minister for trade and investment and the minister of finance.
Lagos state govt never did shitt.
They only thing lagos have going for them is the population.

7lives: Na war o, so there is no need for competition, our collaboration with the FG in the last dispensation didn't benefit us, so we need this competition to keep our administrators on their toes.
shut up.
There is nowhere in the world where a state competes with the FG.
Even in countries practicing true federalism,States compete with states and not with the FG,let alone Nigeria where the FG provides the bulk of revenue available to lagos.
Politics › Re: Lagos Economy Rated Above Ghana, UK - Fashola by solomon111(m): 4:07pm On Mar 06, 2013
koruji: Lagos competing with FG?
You must be smoking leaves?

Before GEJ found his shoes Lagos has being performing. The one competing is the one copying projects or outright shamelessly stealing them. We all know who that is ? If you need examples I can indulge you but I know you know.

By the way, there is nothing wrong with competition. It can only help some docile arms of govt. to do something for the life of them.
so lagos state can compete with the FG?
Lol.
It can't even compete with akwa-ibom state in basic developmental indices.

andrewza: You mean the satellites builr in england. Unlike SA where we builded them localy. And why do you need partneship. Can you not do it your self?
That is the kind of partnership i was talking about.
Nigerian Engineers were trained by the space company in England, and under their surpervision we built ours.
Those engineers are now in Nigeria to help us build one, whenever we need it.

SAM's
Active protection system
Major war ship componts
Major submarin componts
UUV
UCAF
Adavance communcation sytems

Soon we will build
Corvet and IPV/OPV size war ships
my comment still stand.
Nigeria only needs partnership to build whatever she wants,no matter how sophisticated.
Just the way we built our world class satellite.

andrewza: 1980 SA was manufotring.

MBTs
APCs
IFV
AGMs
Howiters
Self propeled howizers
MLRS
UAVs
Fast missiel attack craft
Helicopters
Small arms
LGBs
Armourd cars
Air to air missiels(including BVR)
Nuclear,bilogical and chemcal wepaons
Larg combat support ships.
what are you manufacturing in 2012 that is different from this?
None.
The only difference is the sophistication.
We don't need to learn 1980 tech,we will just learn how the latest models are made from our defence partners.
The same way we created the first world class satellite to be wholly made by african Engineers.

snydergp: Stop talking nonsense you see this is my problem with u Nigerians posting here you claim things which is not there or still beyond your current technological capabilities and then you state it as facts we should all believe. Do you even know what goes into the development of a corvette or frigate for that matter. There's no Indigenous engin producer with the capabilities of producing engines for frigates in Nigeria you can't even produce a 100% homemade Innoson car without importing most of the engine and electronics from China fact.

Girrrrhuh What's the problem with you and your lies. Show the facts here with verifiable sources and stop talking nonsense
Nigeria lacks the capability to manufacture frigates?
Lol.
Besides, the fact that we don't manufacture the engines YET is irrelevant.
How many car companies manufacture all the parts by themselves?
None.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by solomon111(m): 3:43pm On Mar 05, 2013
andrewza: The rooivalk is better than a hind and the apachy with out the longbow radar. The apachy longbow have fire and forget AGM's and power fully radar. But a rooivalk has a smaller radar cross section, built in dust fillters, heat reduction tech, and more manvribil.

Has for the hind. We better than the hind has a attack chopper but the hind is not a attack chopper it is a assult chopper. The russuans opperat many other choppers that are attack choppers. Such the Ka50 Wearwolf.

The valour is better than the nearst amrican equvlent. It has a stealth set up making it apear the same size has a local fishing boat. It fited with simlar wepaons and has a more power full EW,ECW set up. This dose not mean we can beat the USN who operate many destryers and cruisers.

In many aspects the gripen is far better than the SU27. This dose not mean it has good has the newer SU37 or still in production SU47 or the stealth SU that name I forgot. The SU27 is old and is being replaced in russia because it can not compete with the newer westtern threats. Dose this mean the SU27 is bad no dose it mean the gripen is better. To many vairbills to give a straight anserw. Personeal I love the SU27 but the upkeep dose not warrent the abliety. Though the cobra manvour is way cool.

I have yet to see how we siad we could take on the Russian, Indians, Chinness. You putting words in peoples mouth.

No we don't. Back home many many people are saying we not providing out deffenss force enough money anf that we lost a lot of abliets durring the 1990s that we only now trying to regterfie. We just don't think Nigeria is has good has they cliam. You want a African milltary with combat experiance and training go to Chad. Botswana has a very dedcated, motivated and while trained milltary. It role in war is limmted to delaying the enemy untill SA and Angola can get there forces in. But for what they have botswana is very good with it.

Akgeria is a fast rissing power and will become a global force.

Ethiopa has combat experiance and a few very nice wepaons.

Angola have a lot of hisstory in there milltary and have rather powerfull milltary.

NK missil tech genrail crash in to the ocean. Exept the short range types. So I don't fear them.

My sources says a bumber of ertrin jets are non opertional now. And you for got the hawks of SA. The 5 gen missiles we have, Link za, the EW,ECW sytems, extra extra.

What enemy. The only african countries thant can even reach us are our allies. And since when did I say the etrian air force was bad. This is the first time we mentioned them.

Other than egypt name one african country that can compet with us.
lol.
Southafrican delusion.
One day we will see how accurate your claims are.
