aletheia: Such a silly question. Next time you fall ill, go and consult a roadside mechanic. It is just such moronic opinions that are egging the LASG on. Let me tell you the next phase: watch as the doctors deploy the "nuclear" option and work becomes grounded in ALL hospitals both state and federal in Lagos; then you will know why doctors earn more all over the world and not just in Nigeria alone.
Pls get over your high horse.
Doctors earn high quite alright, but they are not the highest earners in the world.
Some Engineering fields earn far higher.
Get your facts right!

Kobojunkie: Here's a simple question for you? WHAT IS TRUE FEDERALISM? Start by answering this simple question, and maybe then, you will understand how ridiculous what you suggest will happen above, under "TRUE" federalism really is. grin grin grin grin grin grin

I get that it is typical for Nigerians to throw around the particular term, but how many of you truly, for real, understand what true federalism means?? ROFLMAO

Here is a link to a thread that could help you understand the true reason behind the many calls for 'True Federalism', and how everyone seems to have their own unique idea of what what it means for them. https://www.nairaland.com/932298/what-exactly-true-federalism
Not all states have the means,to pay the federal wage, not to talk of incentives and bonus.
So,how do they cope?

i'm sorry but this is not an intelligent contribution. How will a country that cannot meet its own internal consumption capacity now start exporting refined crude?
Are you saying the locals should not be involved in the exploration and processing of their own resources?
What kind of parasitic reasoning is this?
Who then should be? pls tell me.

wirinet: Please explain to us this righteous judgment and laws. What happens to 9 year old from a strict Muslim family who rejects your preaching of accepting Jesus as personal lord and saviour, is such a minor accountable for his action according to your god's righteous judgements?
As I said before, God is a righteous Judge and he will never allow the innocent to be punished.
As long as the child had no knowledge of jesus, nor the sense to choose to follow him, then i think they are innocent, and would be spared from divine judgement but if they are knowledgeable and sensible(which i dont think a 9yr old would be) then they are subject to God's judgement.
But,as i said before, these are not hard fast rules,GOD will have mercy on whom, he will have mercy on.
He is not subject to our laws or rotten sense of morality.
That is why Jesus said before he comes, the gospel must be preached in all the nations of the world,to stand as a witness against them.
He does not want anyone to have the excuse of 'never hearing about jesus'.

hercules07: Sagamite asked a question about the strategy, the airport from conception was not meant to be an international airport, the government of Attah saw that airlines were spending a lot of money on taking their planes out for repairs, so he decided to build an airport where those planes can be repaired, when Akpabio came in, he decided to do away with all the legacies of Attah by first of all converting it to an international airport (waste of money) before doing what it was really meant to be. The praise Akpabio is getting might be deserved but what I see in that state is sterile development (good roads that do not enhance productivity, cult filled government and intolerant attitude to opposition). I do not pray or wish Akpabio on Nigerians, he can be Governor of his state but no one should even try making the guy the president of Nigeria.
Which would you prefer,
A no-nonsense performing governor with no god-father,OR
A spineless governor de-accelerating from his initial hype, due to his perpetual servitude to a thief.

wirinet: What of newborn babies and children before the age of responsibility, which is between the age of 13 to about 17 years. What happens to them? Do they also have to be born again before their souls make heaven, if they die?
The key word here is 'ACCOUNTABILITY',it dosent matter how old the child is.
As long as the child has the sense and wisdom to know the lord, and follow him and reject the devil, regardless of Age,then he is accountable for his actions.
This are not hard fast rules, and it ultimately rest on God(The righteous judge who looks at the heart and not at the appearance) to determine who is sensible enough to be held accountable and who is not.

mrmayor: Thank you jare, finally a spirit filled believer who is willing to declare his stand. A woman or the doctor who has aborted " Tens of Thousand" foetus/babies should be given an easy ride heaven afterall they have done more in sending more souls to heaven than Oyaks,Daddy GO, Dr Fireman, Creflo Dollar and co.

Thanks again Solomon, you're indeed wise.
It seems you do not know the weight that abortion carries in the sight of God.
1)It is murder, regardless of the fact that they are heaven bound.
2)whenever a child is aborted,God's agenda for that Life is aborted also. The book of Jeremiah chapter 1,tells us that every life has a divine agenda, even before they were born.
Once again, imagine what would have been the fate of the world if Faraday,Newton,Einstein and co,were aborted.
It is possible that we may have aborted the solutions to some of the world most desperate needs.Even though,i know you are being sarcastic, but i want to take the chance, that you are being geniuenly sincere.
I want to remain blameless before the lord God whom i stand,so i have taken the pain to answer your sarcastic question.

mrmayor: Catch 22.

1.Yes they go to heaven: There is no Original Sin, You don't need to accept Jesus as lord and saviour, Heaven rejoices whenever there is an abortion because a Soul is on its way home.

2.No they don't go to heaven: What a merciful God,• All have Sinned because of a Perfect Man Adam, Eve and a Talking serpent,Jeremiah
Psalm 51:5 - "Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.". Will suffer in hell for no cause of their own, never heard the word either Oyaks or Daddy GO, never paid tithes and of course God knows all this in advance 1:5 (from conception)Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you;

Where is Frosbel, Davidlan, Joabgaje etc I need answers.
Aborted babies go to heaven, because despite the fact that they inherit adamic sin, they have not gotten to the age of accountability and so cannot determine what is good and bad,and therefore cannot make a conscious decision to accept the lordship of Jesus christ.!
@ALL
I have said my own.you can chose to believe what you want to believe.Infact, you can choose to abort, fund abortion or support abortion, you are on your own.
You can claim to be anything, but you can't claim to be ignorant of what is right and wrong, and this words which you hear day and Night, admonishing you, begging you, to turn from your wicked ways, and from the wrath to come, will stand as a witness against you before God,when the time comes.
You can claim to be smart, enlightened, exposed e.t.c. but it would be a case of penny wise, pound foolish,if you are not wise in the choices you make that affects your eternal destiny.

Kay 17: funny enough, its countries that criminalize abortion, that have the highest rates. It wouldn't have ended up like this if there were family planning services, qualified medical personell to carry out a competent abortion.

Most of the mothers are kids who can't afford to give up their education or in a precarious situation. Its a consequence of compulsory pregnanies. You can't make a person responsible for what they didn't choose
The U.S has the highest rate of abortion in the world, despite the fact that abortion is legal there,so your claims are not valid.
I can just begin to imagine the amount of innocent blood shed in that country on a daily.Am i not being a hypocrite. Why criticize america? When boko-haram is working assidiously hard to ensure that Nigeria catches up with the U.S in terms of innocent blood being spilled daily.
And again on your other claims, what didn't those young mothers chose?
How are they not responsible?
When they were having pre-marital sex(to be more liberal, unprotected sex),didn't they know they would get pregnant?
What kind of daft excuses are you guys giving?
Imagine someone saying a mother has the right to kill her child, when they both have their individual lifes to live and therefore they both have a right to life.
Why should someone take away my right to life, when i am not a physical threat to their life.
This world is truely a sick place, full of sick people.

By the way , Nigeria is my country ,lagos is my state and home , wether you like or not or you jealous due to your inferiority . You can't compare Southwest with impoverished SE and SS in terms of amenities and economy . Your region still backward with all the resources the you shouting that you get with millions of you live in slum and poverty . Many of your leaders always stealing the public money and send it to UK, like your brother Ibori and so on . i did't say people are not corrupt in SW but SE and SS leaders are most corrupt people in Nigeria and even you people brother ( Jonathan) couldnt even safe you from mess . Shame on you people and you need to shy your face well well . EKO ONI BAJE OOOOOOOOOO
Ha ha ha!
You must be a very dumb person!
How can you compare the SW with the SE/SS?
The total number of people living in the creeks in the SS,is not up to the the total number of abject poverty striken yoruba almajiris in a single SW state.
Ibori and co could only steal that much because there is so much wealth in the SS(Not that i am vindicating them). The Sw governors cannot try it, not because they are good but because there is just not enough to even pay salaries.
Compare the Whole regions in this country,with every known indices of development,and you will get what i have been screaming since;
1)The SW are just slightly more advantaged than the North.
2)They are far behind the SE/SS.

This mean that Yoruba will absolutely survive and more develop without useless oil money that people ignorants shouting about . There many countries that i've been to without natural resources and they were so beautiful and well developed ,such as New zealand , malaysia , hongkong and singapore . If you ever been to those countries and you know what i'm talking about . God bless lagos state and we are always the best and haters can hug transformer.
This is the reason why the whole of SW excluding lagos will remain a pig-sty when compared to the SE and SS.
Let the whole yoruba race keep on claiming lagos and dont develop your poverty ridden lands, and wake up in the future biting your fingers in regret.

Fulaman198: White guys only tremble if we go with their women because they know that we are bigger and are intimidated by that (that sounds a bit inappropiate my apologies ladies). In all honesty, not every black man is into white women just like not every black sister is into a white guy.

Who cares if a white guy goes with a black woman and vice versa. It doesn't bother me, people have to think if that sister is going with a white guy chances are is that she looks for a particular way of behaviour. I am an African to the core and very traditional, most Nigerian/present day African women do not like that. They want a guy who would act "white" with them. I don't know what their fascination is with it but oh well.
I was actually trying to let the OP know that there is nothing special about white guys dating black sisters,he could do the same with white ladies if he can up his game.
I personally am not out to intimidate any white guy,but then that is the reaction i get when i am around them.
Romance › Re: How Can One Tell Someone 'it's Over' Without Really Hurting Their Feelings? by solomon111(m): 2:32am On May 04, 2012
Onegai: The Cowardly, immature way:
1. Disappearing, no calls, no texts. The person will get the message.
2. Breaking up harshly, blame the other party completely. You did nothing wrong and you just want that person gone fast.
3. Insensitive, sending a text. When you started the rel, you did it in person. Now you avoid the messiness.

The following 3 guarantees you'll end up regretting your decision or begging whilst that person moves on and laughs. Trust me. I've done all 3, you will regret that decision. Reason being, is that how you break up reflects how you were in the relationship (Shocking!!), so breaking up immaturely shows you made an bad decision with your immature mind, hence you'll regret it.

The Good way:
1. Trying to fix things first. Everyone wants readymade nowadays: the generous good guy, the humble pretty, calm girl. No-one wants to build anything and work with flaws. So look first.
2. If that fails, call the person to a meeting. Say, "I'm sorry, this isn't gonna work out. It's both of us, we're too different/bla blah and I don't want to waste your time further. I wish you the best". Do not start laying blame. If the person asks why, assure them they'll get an answer by email in a month's time (giving you time to calmly tell the truth, rather than give a hot answer). Then don't contact them. If they say hi, say hi 6 hours later. Don't be friends, not for a while. They need to heal.

The 2nd scenario closes the door, the first slams it shut. You NEVER wanna slam any door shut in Life.
All the guys I did the 2nd one to, lovely. It hurt, but I was glad, they were glad. The first scenario left me with a lot of unfinished business and regrets and some begging. Make your choice
Damn, you must undergone lots of breakups
Romance › Re: I Hate Seeing Nigerians Girls Dating White Dude. by solomon111(m): 2:22am On May 04, 2012
@OP
Why should you feel that way?
In actual fact, black men are the ones dating everybody, not white men.
You just have to up your game, and then you will see the white guys tremble at your presence.
I dont give a hoot if any white guy dates a black sis,as long as i know the white guy aint better than me,which is definitely true.
It is sad that in this time and age, a lot of black men dont know that when it comes to dating, they have an advantage. They get too intimidated easily, and they lose the war, even before the battle began.
You just have to be Nice, intelligent, romantic ambitious and classy as a black guy, then you are far ahead of the white guy in this game called dating.
