armyofone: if only horses could develop feathers and fly. The lady who could break USA control of the WB huh! grin.
is it not America, the master dribbler grin. she should focus on helping CBN now.

May she dream on though "it is good to dream, some are stillborn others are aborted"
"The stillborn"
If she cant get there, then no african woman will ever head an institution as big as that again.
That means someone like you(if you are african) will never head an institution as big as the WB.
PS:I didnt said so,you did!
Politics › Re: Okonjo Iweala Would Win The World Bank Presidency by solomon111(m): 6:11pm On Apr 04, 2012
1025: @ekhan1,
your okonjo iweala told nigerians that the issue of fuel subsidy removal was not concluded as they were still negotiating but what did we see on January 1st?
that alone can make a reasonable person to resign. she lied and deceived us then her boss punished us with leprosy fuel price.
i don't know if she will win or not but i am saying that i don't want her to win. she is part of this pdp disgrace that is bringing nigeria down.
tell me, she was the finance minister under obasanjo and trilions were stolen under her nose. was she aware of those loots or not? she left the first time and now come back with jonathan and u will agree with me that stealing has increased with no single person serving any jail term anywhere. is that the type of justice u want the world to take? nigeria in her plenty of oil can't boast of steady power supply, no road, no educational system, no security, no hospital, corruption is a culture and our banks are mere agents of the politicians'looting madness. what has ur NOI to show nigerians for her intelligence and class? what is the difference between NOI and jonathan in this corrupt jungle u call nigeria?
point to one thing that the minister of finance did with all the recovered loots of abacha. in my village, if u are not a criminal but u harbour criminals, we call u a criminal with Bold Letters.
she is aware of all the movements of money under her even when she was moved to the ministry of information under obasanjo. till today, did okonjo iweala tell nigerians while she resigned under obasanjo and now come back under jonathan.
if she wins, the world will be like nigeria in the next 5 years. the whole world will be without light. there won't be security and no good roads, no quality education, no hospitals and corruption will be the order of the day.
no need to waste my time with u because the world know nigeria and nigerians more than i can explain it here.
have u ever asked urself how the president of Benin republic won the president of giant of african for the post of ecowas chairman. who told u that if someone from benin even context, she wouldn't win NOI.
no normal person will vote a nigerian in an election not one that is even serving under the most corrupt party/govt in the history of man.
God please do not let a nigerian win this important position ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
You are a disgrace to whatever educational institution, you attended.
You lack the normal Nigerian intelligence.

cashmentor: God stop talking to man ages ago, the only way He communicates to us today is through our Dreams and Visions.... Yes i agree with you, buh, then, Akeem only used his positive power (Faith) to see himself succeeding base on God's purpose and VISION for his existence; while equaly working hard, very hard towards attaining it! God speaks to us through dreams, just as he helped Egypt store up food in advance: and many more, all in the scripture! This is politics by the way?
You are very wrong! God still speaks to people audibly. To hear him audibly you have to 'up your game'.

Bad belle!
A fellow woman like you is rising, yet you are envious.
Tommorrow, you will start crying that women are not being enpowered.
Why will they be,when they are their own worst enemy.

Even in Delta state, the aniomas are the most educated set of people.
They were probably the highest contributor, to the high literacy level of Delta state.
It seems the igbos are undergoing a silent educational revolution!

Kobojunkie: Are you dead in the head or something? What negative do you see me actually posting? Please do not confuse my person with yourself and what you wish on your own kids abeg!

So Kofi Annan is an African, did you even switch your brain long enough to at least figure out why his name came up and what the comment on him was meant to show?? undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided

Go plug your brain in and come back with some meaningful, tangible retort next time.
I give up!
Where was Nigeria when she was climbing the ranks?
Do you think that she was shortlisted based on her Nationality, or on her academic qualifications and on the seat experience.
What has that korean done for America or for his country?
Are you more knowledgeable than the Nations supporting her,or the american press supporting her candidature?
For once, something good can come out of Africa.
Learn to support it, and stop looking for negatives.
Are you a pessimist?

Kobojunkie: I love posts like these. It makes me feel good grin that there are still Nigerians out there who are willing to confront the truth, as is.
why do you delight in Negativities and the so-called impossibility of an african to achieve a great feat.
Last time i checked kofi annan was an african.
You said she wasnt qualified?
Who is more qualified than NOI in the list of names shortlisted.?
You have indeed developed a bad belle reputation on Nairaland.
Nothing seems good enough for you.
I am waiting for you own candidate o!

You must be a very st.upid man!
Was it not one of the former world bank M.D that gave his girlfriend money from the World bank?
What makes him more deserving than NOI.
Sometimes,i doubt if i am a Nigerian,if the useless way,you people reason, is anything to go by.

let me give you an analogy of the difference between Nigerian and ghanian economy.
If Naija economy, were to be dormant for 50 years,it would still be far ahead of ghana.
Politics › Re: Flash! Ghana Against Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. Nominated Prof. Jeffery Sachs!! by solomon111(m): 4:32pm On Mar 26, 2012
PetroDolla: nigeria's growth rate is higher than Ghaa abi? Just believe whatever makes your deluded mind happy. BTW,who's responsible for the 'issues' in Nigeria you spoke about-boko haram, corruption etc? Is it Ghana? And why do you think its only your country that has 'issues'? Surely some of u characters are pathetic. The real problem with Nigeria and Nigerians is indiscipline, indiscipline, indiscipline!
Instead, being crudely indisciplined is a Nigeran way of telling the whole world that they are confident, savvy, and noticeably attractive. What a sick mentality?
MR PETRODOLLARS!
you are a fool,if you think you can compare the whole of Nigeria to a state like ghana!
I dont blame you!.I just wish someone like me will become the president, then you will know what it means to 'RECIPROCATE' in Foreign policies.
I think it is high time we emulate the U.S foreign policies and do away the non-existent, so-called 'ONE-AFRICA' theory.

When and where on this thread have I said Ghana was the Lord of ANYTHING? Get this inferiority complex and competitive mindset out of here this instant! That's the damn problem! And what do you mean worship Obama? WTH? huh

AWE! tongue I LOVE IT!! grin grin

So now we play the "you are not African so what do you know about...?" line when FACTS and common sense hit us like a freight train? grin grin And THEN you wonder!! grin Listen to yourself! You have OPEN MINDED Nigerians questioning and analyzing her character and capabilities to see if she is qualified and you get mad at Ghana for doing the same thing? Rather than do the same you want to "wage war". You this egotistical goat! Clap for yourself fo0l! Your kind continue to hold continental Africa back.

talknafree: Well don't blame the Ghanians. This is what you get when you aren't even united amongst yourselves.

Fellow Nigerians will play power play underground to make sure Ngozi doesn't get that seat.

I see Nzogi as someone who even being World's Bank President will only bring about policies to impoverish Nigeria and Africa further because she will go dancing to the tunes of the western countries who are world's bank major financiers.
You are a big fool!
So it is jerry sacchs, who is american, that will not dance to the dictates of western imperialists?!

will you pls shut the hell up.
What do you know about african issues.?
If you were enlightened, ynu would know that this is not the first time, ghana is betraying us,despite our support to them.
What makes jerry sacchs more qualified than NOI,if not that they want to spite us.
I think you should research on the both of them, and decide who is more qualified.
TO ALL NIGERIANS,IT IS TIME WE ALL GIVE UP,THIS PAN-AFRICAN UTOPIAN DREAM ,AND LOOK OUT 4 OURSELVES.

I just pity them!
They forget that they are in the same region with us.Even the south -africans( who far more useful and mightier than ghana) and are used to opposing us,are with us on this after having felt the international might of Nigeria. Ghana are surely, standing on a long thing.
Woe,betides them,if NOI loses this, because of their elusive vote.
It will be covert diplomatic war!
Indeed, ghanaian govt officials are not very smart.
