But seriously, why is the LASG victimizing and oppressing PDP wards?
This's totally unacceptable.

Chei..see profound ignorance bred by hatred and envy. shocked shocked
lateef jakande was formerly a member of PDP before he cross-carpeted due to localized issues affecting the lagos state PDP then.

Dee60: This PDP fellow has grossly misfired. It is a pity that most of the statements credited to PDP people show how far away from reality they are. That is the same way they goofed in the Edo Widow's case. They are the ones that need to learn!

The people of Lagos will rather go with a Fasola that is autocratic than a PDP government that achieves ZERO accross the board!
The last PDP governor in lagos state was the best governor lagos ever had.
Don't generalize.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Should Learn From Jonathan’s Good Governance – PDP by solomon111(m): 10:32am On Dec 06, 2013
I expect the sane political neutrals to compare and contrast the achievements of both individuals relative to the time and prevailing circumstances, and you will see the bitter truth staring you in the face.
Fashola is overrated, and i really wonder why.

kolawaxxy: sure. If it was a princess now, we would see comments like "show me a former agric minister that did better"
There is nothing wrong with that if it's true.
Just like oduah,we've not had a better minister of agriculture.

nairaman66: Good news in years! As long as Oil production falls and Poultry production shoots up! These Politician would sit up and not flagrantly loot the treasury...
why should oil production fall?
We're talking of diversifying the economy and creating multiple streams of foreign exchange and you want oil production to fall.
PoliticsRe: The Ungrateful Lagos by solomon111(m): 5:35am On Dec 06, 2013
A confederacy would be even better.
Imagine a confederacy of ND states, fully controlling their resources with someone like pat utomi as the head of the regional govt.
The feeling is orgasmic.
We would end up creating an "economically-diversified dubai" inside Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: The Ungrateful Lagos by solomon111(m): 5:23am On Dec 06, 2013
This's why the ND states should aggressively pursue true federalism.
Only then will our resources been wasted on lagos would be drastically reduced.
We should then divert those resources to creating world-class seaports, airports, fast trains and all that.
We really need true federalism.
The ND governors should stop puus$y-footing.

TravelRe: What Stops Nigeria From Having A Diversity Visa Lottery Program? by solomon111(m): 4:50am On Dec 06, 2013
Nigeria is a developing country and developing countries don't need a DV programme.
And for developing countries with enormous workforce like china, india,Nigeria,a DV programme would be absolute madness.
Though i think Nigeria would need a DV programme for very skilled individuals sometime in the future when the essential sectors have finished developing given the rate at which the youths are leaving the country for greener pastures.

What do people gain from dehumanising their fellow humans and taking laws into their hands?
I can't believe i share the same country with these sub-humanoids.

PoliticsRe: Lagos, Rivers, Delta Lead Others In Internally Generated Revenue, IGR by solomon111(m): 11:29pm On Dec 05, 2013
bloggernaija: What an you see in Lagos and rivers state?

I will tell you,

THE ONLY VIABLE STATES WITHOUT OIL ,THAT IS.
The states that should be viable without oil are the states without oil.
The ND states are probably the only truely viable and self-sufficient states as they're already tapping from and developing their comparative advantage over other states as more oil and gas reserves are discovered.
Even the oil and gas reserves in the ND has been proven to be nearly limitless.
The ND does not depend on any other region for its economic survival.
That's viability.
PoliticsRe: Lagos, Rivers, Delta Lead Others In Internally Generated Revenue, IGR by solomon111(m): 11:17pm On Dec 05, 2013
Delta state should do better.
It's at the heart of the Niger-delta.
Uduaghan should leverage on it.

olabukola: all seaport and airport in Yoruba nation belongs to us. Anything in ur region belongs to you. It's only oil that we sit and talk/negotiate how to share the revenue. National debt also will be shared. Since the north claims higher population they will get high share of the debt.
which oil revenue do you want to share, you thief?
Let Nigeria divide and let me see the idiott that will come from the SW or the North asking for oil revenues.
We will use fighter jets to blast you all the way to your arid lands.

PoliticsRe: FEC Approves $1.3b For Construction Of Lekki Deep Sea Port by solomon111(m): 10:27am On Dec 05, 2013
Who gives a fucck about lekki?
FG should ensure that the ibaka deep sea-port comes to reality, construct the 2nd Niger-bridge and reconstruct the old one, sack the incompetent chief of air staff and aggressively re-arm the airforce with adequate 4.5 generation attack-helicopters,drones and fighters to completely decimate BH and create a detterence.
$800million will be enough to solve the needs of the airforce.
These should be the priority of the FG.

PoliticsRe: What Does The North Has To Show For Over 35years Of Leading Nigeria? by solomon111(m): 6:11pm On Dec 04, 2013
ba7man: Some people say the North has ruled Nigeria for the majority of Nigeria's existence............but i happen to see it as "The Millitary" instead.

What has being going on since independence has simply being a mad scramble for power between millitary officers which a lot of them happen to be Northerners.

They were able to hold on to power because they were the majority in the millitary.

The real Nigerian democracy began in 1999, prior to that, its being all millitary.
Bullshitt.
The fact that the bulk of Northern rule was military dosen't change the fact that they were absolutely useless.
Many countries have developed and are developing without democracy,so military rule's not an excuse.
Btw,most of the candidates the North is trying to force on Nigeria were part of the military rulers that destroyed our country.
So what's new?
PoliticsRe: What Does The North Has To Show For Over 35years Of Leading Nigeria? by solomon111(m): 6:05pm On Dec 04, 2013
1025: @op, i am from imo state.
the northerners could have ruled for 300 years but don't forget, military is not a type of govt and the easterners introduced military govt in nigeria but the northerners took advantage - i stand to be corrected.
after the death of Abacha, there was a new arrangement mostly between the northerners that brought a yorubaman to power in 2007. this yorubaman did first and second and even seek for a third. you and i saw how what most of us will call natural course cut short the first tenure of an hausa man who according to them deserved the presidency then. my brother, the only way to true peace is justice. if yar adua died in the course of his presidency, the law says the vp should take over of which nigerians even the yorubas notable among them is Pastor Tunde Bakare worked for this to happen.
uncle, if we say the truth, yar adua is not the only hausa man and the hausas said it to our ears that yorubas did 8 years so they deserved their own 8 years but what happened?
u want to face the truth, in the heat of the moment, jonathan said it openly to nigerians that he wanted just a tenure - true or false? every nigerian tot he has a plan.
uncle, nigeria is not one and can never be but the only way to remain as it is will be AGREEMENT over who rules at what point.
jonathan is an ijaw man and he has enjoyed or is about enjoying 6 years as the president of nigeria - what about the igbos?
the problem nigeria is facing today is the pdp confusion problems.
today we have an ASUU that is saying, we had agreement in 2009 and the govt is not honouring it(pdp). pdp had agreement of rotational presidency and vincent ogbulafor the then chairman confirmed it and was sacked. nwodo said it and was sacked. the hausas have resorted to the language they can speak. WHEN MY RIGHT IS MOLESTED, WICKEDNESS RESULTS.
until those in power learn to respect agreements and say what they mean, we will continue in this condition and these evil men know too well that u and i are the recipients so they are not worried at all.
if yoruba man can do 8 years, i supported the idea of the hausas doing 8 years too. if hausa man cannot do 8 years, then jonathan must not do 8 years too. why is it that pdp keeps changing like chameleon?
when this issue of boko haram was it its early stage, nigerians said their minds and told jonathan to move in fast, he rather told us that he is not a general but today, he is acting a general to ASUU.
what happens to thjose in govt stealing the country dry?
don't let these criminals deceive u because no one can deceive me with these lies. now that jonathan is president, the belief has turn to; THE PRESIDENT CAN COME FROM ANYWHERE but when it is in the hands of the northerners, ARE THEY BORN TO RULE?
assuming u are from the eastern part of nigeria, CAN U POINT TO ONE OR TWO THINGS THE WHOLE REGION HAS BENEFITED FROM THIS GOVT SINCE 2009. if we cannot benefit when our own is the president, why are we fighting to be president then?
come this xmas, ppl will sleep on river niger bridge because of traffic and i ask u, HOW MUCH WILL THAT BRIDGE COST?
what are the benefits of rotational presidency? are we enjoying same too?
you're not an igbo man,you coward.
Why do people deny where they're from just to make a useless point.

I don't know why those old posters were talking about ghana.
The countries that matter in west africa in economic terms are Nigeria, equitorial guinea and cape verde.
1)Nigeria-The GDP of Nigeria is bigger than the total GDP of the other countries in the region combined.
The 2nd largest economy in the continent.
An overwhelming economic giant of the region and continent
2)Equitorial guinea-The largest GDP/CAPITAL in Africa
3)Cape verde- The second largest GDP/CAPITAL in west africa.

Pataki: This is the problem with you people: once you are intoxicated with ogogoro you begin to spew useless babbles from that gutter of a mouth.

We are saddled with a President who can barely function everyday normally once it is past 3pm in the oval office. He drinks himself to stupor, and yet demented internet touts like you will come online and be beating your chest like a frustrated gorilla shouting that ND will secede. You are not ashamed of the boundless cluelessness of ya son - GEJ. History will never be kind to you people again in this country, if you think you have the monopoly of violence in this country, go and ask Ojukwu in his grave - he knows better!
May God punish you,coward.

omar22: So why didnt Nigeria come close to winning it in 06, 08 and 10 ? if Mikel was that good?
you and i know that there were a lot of factors involved.
The team was not good enough.
The coaching was not good enough.
NFF was messing around.
Even mikel was not as experienced as he is now,e.t.c.
SportsRe: Yaya Toure Is BBC African Footballer For 2013 by solomon111(m): 1:07pm On Dec 03, 2013
As far as am concerned mikel is a more talented midfielder.
He's just not using his potentials to its maximum.
Look at what mikel did against spain featuring some of the best midfielders of all time.
He created more chances, had more touches and interceptions than iniesta and xavi.
Infact, some spanish football analyst agreed that spain were owned in the midfield.
We only lost due to inexperience and inferior strikers.
Yaya toure is sheer brute force and power with decent creativity,while mikel is what a true creative midfielder should be;
finesse,skill and vision.
He just need to take the bull by the horn and impose himself on matches.

Lol.
Maybe you didn't watch the matches on a clear television.
Mikel was the one that prevented yaya toure from destroying us from midfield.
He was the most creative and tactically disciplined member of our AFCON winning team.

pek: that's Why Nigeria is where she is today! we always act out of sentiments!
Stop trying to be unnecessarily smart.
Football awards have always been sentimental.
Even in the ballon d'or,players and coaches vote for their compatriots or club mates.
Now i believe the rumour that it was a Nigerian that prevented okocha from winning the CAF awards, given the nonsense i am seeing on this thread.
It's better not to vote at all than to vote against your compatriot.
That's stupidity and madness.
