killuminati: And your position is based on falsehood. The once sicked and now deceased Yar'adua(RIP) is 20 times better than your weaka'ss GEJ.
lol.
You must be living in Niger-republic for you to say that.
Even GEJ's worst critics knows he has surpassed all his predecessors.

The hypocrisy on this thread stinks to the high heavens and you all know it.

tbaba1234: They are evil because they gave a news reporthuh What is wrong with Nigerians??

Is this the first time for the Nigerian military?
And what is wrong with you?
Where was aljazerra when bokoharam was unleasing terror on the north?
Why are muslims like this?
Na wa.
Politics › Re: Al-jazeera’s Report On State Of Emergency Misleading – FG by solomon111(m): 11:12pm On Jun 01, 2013
Aljazerra-The voice of islamic/arabian fundamentalism.
This is one of the reason why the army is averse to having different kinds of journalists covering their operations,as it promotes the spread of different kinds of propaganda from people with different motives.
The so-called journalist should be deported as soon as possible.
Btw,why are muslims all over the world including those on this thread overt/covert supporters of islamic fundamentalism/terrorism.?
It boggles the mind.

lovelydoll: Please i am engaged to my lovely fiance. No one had to search for me. Even aunts and uncles search for their nephews and sons, and that does not mean women are scarce.

Men are not scarce they are everyhwere, they are not rare.once you dump one guy theres always a better one coming. cheesy
yes men are not scarce.
There are over a billion different kinds of men out there.
Great men are the scare commodity though,as they are reserved for God's children.

femi4: Messi is far ahead of ronaldo da li ma
A debate for another day.
I disagree though.

supaeagles: Football is sometimes like music, you will hold on to the belief that the players and teams you followed during your youth are the 'best' and nothing modern comes close to that.
But it's true.
Go and watch step-overs of players like maradona, rivaldo, platini, ronaldo phenomeno.
Any time you watch C.RONALDO do one of his fake step-overs,you will nearly puke.
Sports › Re: Super Eagles Vs Mexico - (2 - 2) -Intl Friendly On May 31 2013 by solomon111(m): 6:00am On Jun 01, 2013
Uyi Iredia: He won't $hit on Xavi's technicality, He won't $h*t on Ozil's technicality, he won't $hit on Lahm's technicality.
xavi,Ozil to ronaldo?
Blasphemy!!!
The only player that can stand with ronaldo phenomeno in this generation is messi.
Btw,ronaldo disgraced far better defenders than lahm in his time.
Sports › Re: Super Eagles Vs Mexico - (2 - 2) -Intl Friendly On May 31 2013 by solomon111(m): 5:50am On Jun 01, 2013
shymexx: I think £40million is too much for him. But hey, it's an era where the Arab oil Sheikhs have taken over football.

Have you seen James Rodríguez of Porto play? That's an amazing Colombiana young talent - the future Valderrama.
£40million is not too much for a player of suarez skills, technique, versatility and goal output.
It's a steal,actually.
Remember our own torres cost 50.
Sports › Re: Super Eagles Vs Mexico - (2 - 2) -Intl Friendly On May 31 2013 by solomon111(m): 5:40am On Jun 01, 2013
shymexx: Lewandowski, yes. But both Cavani and RVP aren't all that, to be honest. I watched a few of Napoli's games this season and Cavani didn't impress me that much. Suarez is far better than him.
cavani is a great player.
Suarez is probably better, and he is bound for madrid at £40million.
What a bargain.!!
Sports › Re: Super Eagles Vs Mexico - (2 - 2) -Intl Friendly On May 31 2013 by solomon111(m): 5:34am On Jun 01, 2013
Uyi Iredia: I think you're being too sebtimental. The new generation of players are equally good. Possibly more technically savvy due to stricter rules on fouls and offsides compared to before.
more technical?
Hahaha.
Ronaldo 'phenomeno' would shitt on the the technical ability of any player around now except maybe messi.
The footballers we have now have mistaken diving abilities for technique.

shymexx: Europe has always been the Mecca of football and you've to play in Europe, before you can be considered a legend from way back in the 60s. The only exception is Pele.

We need the old football back. We need the real strikers like: Batistuta, Marco Van Basten et al back. Defenders like: Baresi, Sammer et al back. And Midfielders like: Lothar Matthaus, Simeone, Dunga et al back. grin

The best striker in Europe at one point this season was Falcao, and this guy didn't even score a damn goal in like 6 games.
yeah.
The good old days of hard, rugged and technical footballers.
Btw,i think lewandowski, cavani and RVP will have a thing or two to say about falcao being the best striker in the world.
Sports › Re: Super Eagles Vs Mexico - (2 - 2) -Intl Friendly On May 31 2013 by solomon111(m): 5:22am On Jun 01, 2013
Uyi Iredia: Yes but we have cases of Greece (underdogs) beating Nigeria, Zambia (underdogs) winning AFCON & Burkina Faso reaching the finals. In time, we'll see if the statement that got Ogugua tickled will occur.
if he dosen't smash kenya, then he should resign before coming home.
Nigerians would probably lynch him at the airport.

shymexx: @ the bolded - defo. Mikel is Yaya Toure's wife lool.

Fellani is going to Man Utd. But I think Essien should be back to his best next season.
Mikel usually goes missing against yaya toure.
Smh.
And yes, moyes transfer to yoonited may have tipped the fellaini move in their favour, sadly.
Sports › Re: Super Eagles Vs Mexico - (2 - 2) -Intl Friendly On May 31 2013 by solomon111(m): 5:11am On Jun 01, 2013
shymexx: There will always be under-dogs in football if you select your best talents. If the opposite were the case, then San Marino, Cyprus, Northern Ireland et al wouldn't be the whooping boys of Europe. Kenya isn't a footballing nation and we should smash them 10 out of 10 times, if we can select our best talents.
True.
Anything less than 5-0 demolition is a failure as far as am concerned.
Sports › Re: Super Eagles Vs Mexico - (2 - 2) -Intl Friendly On May 31 2013 by solomon111(m): 5:05am On Jun 01, 2013
Yaya toure annoys me to no end.
He's the only reason why mancity have becomes chelsea's boogey team.
He just bullies our players around.
Now i know how arsenal fans felt when drogba was around.
A player like makelele would have tamed him.
A strong DM like fellaini is a priority this season..

Chrisbenogor: bros na wa for you, some people watch to see messi dribble or Cristi play free kick. In my days I played at right back with the occasional "No 4" as we called it those days which was basically Box-Box, support left right attackers and full backs, I felt the pain. Each time I watch football my eyes naturally go to the engine room, and these days there are so many different variants.

Claude Makelele was the definition of that role, not making silly lunging tackles or running with no purpose for 90 minutes, he read the game and made the very very annoying interceptions (kai I hated him the most at chelsea) While that yeye terry and co were taking Glory the silent workhorse was Claude.
yeah,makalele was a legend.
I still can't understand why madrid threw him away.

supaeagles: Wow - all this hostility towards them.....did USA deny your visa before smiley..... I would be even curious to read about Mexico & Mexicans complaining about this "Texas issue" if you can link that please.
The state of Texas is what it is today solely because of USA if not it would have been like any of the Mexican states - quite pathetic.
US deny me visa?
Dem no born them well,lol.
I was there last year for the wedding of my cousin,so no big deal.
I don't hate the US,abeg o.
I don't want CIA triangulating my location and disappearing me.
Why do you think the the US and mexico are not very close, and there is a bit of hostility between them.?
Go figure.
And once again, economic prosperity is not a moral excuse for stealing lands.

shymexx: If the Onazi can guy replicate his form and playing style for Lazio, in the naija jersey - I honestly don't think we need Mikel. The guy can really play football, trust me. And he scores great goals as well.
I don't like onazi at all.
The guy is too impulsive and makes too many fouls.

supaeagles: Mexico/ Mexicans do not even complain of "losing Texas to the yanks" but you de complain - quite strange indeed.
who told you mexico didn't complain?
Unfortunately,they can't do more than to complain,as they don't want b-2 spirits,patriot missiles,hornets,tomcats, and F-35s to destroy their homeland.
Hail America,the ultimate bully.

look at this ghanian.
Lol@you using a friendly game to determine the strength of the eagles when the best players are not even in camp.
Don't worry,we will deal with you in the next AFCON.

The Mexico i know is not a failed state.
