he scores heart-breaking goals.

The americans stole it from the mexicans.

Afam4eva: Youu must think US border is like Seme where living and non living things cross like pure water. Most mexicans crossing that border are not doing so to go and watch mouth but to hustle.
Actually the US border is pretty porus.
It's not too different from Nigeria.
ROFLMAO

How about a submarine too ? grin grin
There are already plans for Nigeria to get a few submarines in the next 6-7 years.
We already have people undergoing submarine training.
But we should be able to get those russian anti-missiles systems now,as they are not as expensive as submarines.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Israel Warns Russia Against Giving Syria Missiles (wat A Comedy) by solomon111(m): 2:54pm On May 29, 2013
Btw,why can't Nigeria get some of these s300,s400 or even s500 systems?
Is it until when we face a formidable enemy before we start rushing to get these systems?
Smh.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Israel Warns Russia Against Giving Syria Missiles (wat A Comedy) by solomon111(m): 2:43pm On May 29, 2013
Who are those saying america will help israel in a direct war against russia?
Lol.
That would be one of the most foolish decisions washington will ever make.
And i believe america will never risk the lives of millions of its citizens and its economic position in the world over an israeli-provoked war.
The stakes are too high, the cost is too much.
In the same vein, china will not support N.korea in a direct war with the US.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Israel Warns Russia Against Giving Syria Missiles (wat A Comedy) by solomon111(m): 2:29pm On May 29, 2013
Hahaha.
I hope israel know what they are doing?
Russia is not iran,north-korea,syria or all those small terrorists they and the US oppress anyhow.
Russia is a mighty nuclear nation with missile(conventional and nuclear) capablities over 300 years ahead of israel.
Even america can't threaten them anyhow, so as not to provoke a war that will lead to mutual assured destruction of both russia and america.
Russia can destroy america in 30minutes,it would take them just 2 hours to obliterate israel off the surface of the earth.

ABI?
I don't even know where to start?
You are just like millions of brainwashed Nigerians in america.
Tell me how to work with a country that refuse to sell you their modern technology.
We've been allies with the US for years with nothing to show for it.
The US have exploited us for years without giving much to us.
Unlike the US,Russia and china wants to be partners.
They wants some of our resources in exchange for technology.
It's a business relationship.
We use our resources to satisfy our technological needs.
That's a partnership.
Unlike the US,Russia and china are teaching us how to fish.
The US are not our partners, they've refused to partner with Nigeria.
They just want to continue plundering our resources for nothing, just like they've done in iraq and libya.

Those are the worst types of help...from those guys? Nigeria should distance it self from them ASAP..am sure the U.S is helping Nigeria with this operation in one way or another.....
What the US?
The US that refused to sell Nigeria any high valued weapon except 1960s decommissioned crap.
Russia china and india are the reason why the Nigerian military have any semblance of a 21st century military.
Those guys have helped us so much in developing our indigenous technology to an extent and also with training and sale of modern weapons to the military.
You will hardly find a Modern western military weapon in the Nigerian military armoury.
They are mostly from china india russia pakistan and ukraine.
Sorry, the US is an enemy of the Nigerian state.
It's time for Nigeria to pick sides, and joining the BRICS will be the best for us.

armyofone: O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

O beautiful for pilgrim feet
Whose stern impassioned stress
A thoroughfare of freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America!
God mend thine every flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self-control,
Thy liberty in law!

O beautiful for heroes proved
In liberating strife.
Who more than self their country loved
And mercy more than life!
America! America!
May God thy gold refine
Till all success be nobleness
And every gain divine!

O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

O beautiful for halcyon skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the enameled plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till souls wax fair as earth and air
And music-hearted sea!

O beautiful for pilgrims feet,
Whose stem impassioned stress
A thoroughfare for freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till paths be wrought through
wilds of thought
By pilgrim foot and knee!

O beautiful for glory-tale
Of liberating strife
When once and twice,
for man's avail
Men lavished precious life!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till selfish gain no longer stain
The banner of the free!

O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till nobler men keep once again
Thy whiter jubilee!

God bless America

egift: For all those who will like to confuse the facts, here are what we can all can now agree on:
1. According to SaharaReporters, when Jonathan was called upon to speak, he was nowhere to be found (the report did mention he could have gone for a meeting or toilet), his ministers did not inform protocols, they did not either reserve another slot for our Presido and he only came around for group pictures.

2. According to Abati, what SaharaReporters stated was correct. He added that Presido "was attending on the sidelines".

So why are you guys antagonizing SR? Is there any other outlets that reported it? They had only hoped it went unnoticed. Abeg free SR. Just tell Oga not to be playing "on the sidelines". We need him playing inside the field.
Go and check the incredulous reason SR gave for GEJ's absence and you will know how ridiculous you sound.

I pity Nigeria, it is a country being led by a drunk and the country moves just like a dunk man crossing third mainland bridge. Someone once told me say by 12 pm wey Jona go reach office those days for Bayelsa e go done high already. It is a fact, he is a chronic drinker.

Sahara reporters is trusted, once they give me gist I take it. It may not be entirely true, but it gives me an idea of what is possibly going on. They gave me Patience's gist, Yar'adua and Turai; and many more. Why I no go come believe them.

Abagworo: @bolded. That part is wrong in its entirety. Much of Nigeria's oil today is offshore and is on nobody's land but in the sea. The other oil is in the Niger Delta where Ijaw comprises one of the ethnic groups. Urhobo, Igbo, Ikwerre, Ekpeye, Etche, Kalabari, Oron, Yoruba, Itsekiri, Edo, Isoko, Ukwuani, Ibani, Ogba, Ndoni, Ogoni, Eleme, Okrika, Andoni and several other ethnic groups are in Nigeria's oil belt.

2ndly the oil belongs to Nigeria and not any of these ethnic groups.
it's laughable to say that the oil does not belong to the niger-delta.
Yes it currently belong to Nigeria according to the constitution, but the day Nigeria splits the Niger-delta goes with their oil.
That's why they are being paid 13% derivation.
The oil belongs to them whether you like it or not.
Btw,the so-called offshore oil is in the niger-delta.
Those bodies of water containing those oil-reserves share very close proximity to the niger-delta.
They've belonged to the niger-deltans for generations and is/was a major source of revenue.
So any attempt to 'steal' natural resources through the on-shore/off-shore conundrum is just self-deceit.
It won't work.
And yes,the ijaw people are part of the niger-delta,they deserve the presidency more than most ethnic groups.

I don't see how US shale programme will affect Nigeria that much.
We have so many energy-hungry nations to sell to.
Even if the situation was as dire as the article puts it, it could actually be a blessing in disguise,as it would hasten our independence from crude oil and cause us to focus on other key areas like agriculture, solid minerals, manufacturing and ICT.
We may finally be able to tell the US to buzz off and mind their own business, just like china and co are doing.

By the way its in NIGER and not NIGERIA, so your twarty types dont go thinking they are spare parts for your rusted Nigerian Airways' aircraft. I can't get what anyone needs from Nigeria right now? Is it the deranged terrorists you export to the world? Dont mention that oil! that is shi't compared to what obtains in Angola, Algeria, Ghana ( will be). why are there no drones in those countries? oh your crude oil is of better quality than those? eccentric Clat! angry
The quality of oil in Nigeria is far better than what obtains in angola, though i don't know about ghana yet.
Nigerian oil is one of the best in the world
Btw,i can perfectly understand why Nigerians are wary of the US.

What of the hundreds of innocent lives the US have killed with their drones programme?

Politics › Re: Dangote Promises To End Fuel Import In 4 Years by solomon111(m): 1:43pm On May 24, 2013
naptu2: See, this is one of the reasons why we have lots of problems in Nigeria. Does shortage of refineries in the Niger-Delta = no refineries in northern Nigeria?

More refineries should be built in the delta, just as more refineries should be built in northern Nigeria. There is no sensible reason why we shouldn't have refineries in northern Nigeria. It is not an empty wasteland as some people think smiley People and businesses who use petrol, diesel and kerosene are in abundance in northern Nigeria (that's why Niger built a refinery near the border to tap into that market, but I don't think we should let them. We should build more facilities to ensure that this market is adequately served).
I don't have any problem with building refineries in the north,as long as refineries are sufficient in the oil-producing states.
We can always satisfy the north with petroleum products without building refineries there at the expense of the niger-delta.
