CAMEROONPRIDE: will you shut up? If it wasn't for Victor banjo and his retreat Lagos would have been a part of Biafra so what's your point? More.on ..you enslaved them and occupied their region period. Calabar had always been an independent kingdom with no to few relation with the forest -dwellers called Igbo, back then Igbo didn't even exist so piss off
we enslaved them?
You are an idiott.
The second in command to ojukwu was an kin of the bakassi people.
Btw,bakassi is an authentic biafran land, lagos is not.
Lagos was attacked to cripple Nigeria's economic advantage in the war and not for expansionism.

CAMEROONPRIDE: then you wake up, welcome back to reality bra, it was just a nightmare blah blah, tell me why Igbo care about Bakassi.period

Biafra doesn't exist so wake up, we don't fear Nigeria and you think we are going to fear your erosion ravaged-kidnappers infested region....

You Dare try something we blow you out .period
why do igbos care about bakassi?
Bakassi was part of the former Eastern region, you muppett.
In 1967,bakassi was part of biafra.

CAMEROONPRIDE: it seems you like to see your people die, this time it will b more than 5M...keep dreaming about something which never belonged to u, ....the funny thing is no Effik, no ibibio, no ekoi, no esangele , talk about getting Bakassi back the people are getting used to Cameroonian rule, but Igbo, the only people talking about getting Bakassi back are Igbo, why I don't know, dude, Igbo land never reached bakassi, why the obsession?
you think cameroon would have stood a chance against Nigeria in 1967.?
I laugh.
You lot would have been exterminated in a week.
Mend alone will cripple your defences, let alone the wrath of a mighty technologically savvy biafra.
Drones, fighter jets, destroyers and submarines will be swimming in your air and water ways.
Btw,who do you think are protesting against the ceding of biafra today,if not the Efiks and ibibios?
Go sit down son,you know nothing.

truly: The citizen of an enemy state whose gendermes TERRORISE Nigerians, stole Bakassi from us and are bent on causing disaffection in Nigeria is posting here. It is nothing short of foreign interference and subversion

You care for the southerners so much and you don't allow them to fish, your soldiers r.ap.e them! How I wish we could level some parts of that place to teach you a lasting lesson!
stop blaming the wrong person.
Gowon is still alive.
He gave biafra's land away so he could have the last laugh.
Well,the decision has backfired.
That place is oil-rich and Nigeria will soon fall apart anyway.
Talk about losing on both ends.!!
We will get bakassi back after we leave this nonsensical union.

CAMEROONPRIDE: Yeaa, that's why Israel do everything to not let Palestinian form a country. A Bokoharam nation will b a rogue state
yeah,i agree with this.
A bokoharam nation will be a thorn in the flesh of biafra.
We may have to carry out air-strikes on a regular bases to curtail terrorists attacks, just like israel.

shymexx: I don't think we lack a central midfielder. Essien is coming back and both Mata and Ramirez can play that role effectively... Our problem is DM. But hey, I think we need to let Luiz grow in that position... He has been superb so far and I don't see any reason why we can't let him stay there permanently.
CM is a role we currently need and sorely lack.
Essien is the only CM we had but he is no longer world class.
Ramires does not have the range of passes to make a good CM.
Mata is not strong enough to play CM as he will be completely bullied.
Luiz has shown promise but his best position is CB.
His passes are most times wayward and he lacks the discipline and positioning.
He is an average CM,but a world class CB.
Players like xabi alonso, yaya toure, luka modric are what makes the attacking midfield players work effectively.
Our counter-attack is shitt because we don't have a good CM to feed mata and hazard those accurate long passes, which means they will have to drop too deep to get the ball.
We need a better DM than Mikel, but we need a world class CM badly.
We will never win the Epl or dominate in the UCL without a good CM.

hornipipe: the so called ''special one'' will get bullied and sent out of England before the end of 2014.
Tell mourinho the Epl has changed!
yawn.
The only person that was good enough to provide competition for mou has just retired, though mou dealth with ferguson consistently when he was at chelsea.
None of the current managers in the Epl is good enough to clean mou's shoes.
He will dominate the Epl completely.

shymexx: I concur.. But it seems Dortmund want De Bruyne, hence why they prefer to sell him to Chelsea and not Real Madrid or Manchester Utd..

Moreover, we've got enough wingers similar to De Bruyne...
debruyne is not a true winger, though he plays the wings due to his versatility.
His best position is at CM,which we currently lack.

shymexx: Who's going to stop us?

The EPL is weaker today and we should be able to do a treble next season...

Lewandowski is also on his way to Chelsea - Kevin de Bruyne is our bargaining chip and we should get our guy after the Champions League final...
just like nemanja matic is now a very influential player after we gave him to benfica.
Selling debruyne would be a very big mistake.
He is currently a £25 million player and will only get better.
Chelsea should just pay the full fee for lewandowski without trading any player.

Who are those saying chelsea didn't deserve it?
Are they nuts?
We've played far more games than benfica this season.
We lost key members of our squad to injury, and we also had to compensate for the cluelessness of benitez.
Cut the team some slack.

sithwell: Big businesses when less than a fraction of your roads are paved? Big businesses when there isn't enough infrastructure to service your growing population? Big businesses when the basics aren't there?

What has the tax collected from these businesses done? Bought more military hardware?
1)That's a bloody lie, most of our roads have/are receiving attention.
You probably pull those stats from your as$.
2)yes we have infrastructural deficits, but it's rapidly improving.
Our businesses are the reason why we have the largest middle class in Africa, and the largest informal sector in africa.
3)our military is quite underfunded when compared,
Unlike southafrica we don't live above our means.
We have just $7 billion debt for 170million people.
And with our economy growing at 7.2% and set to overtake southafrica,we will have more resources to cater for our infrastructural needs without necessarily borrowing crazily like southafrica.

sithwell: An idiot I might be, but you still cannot tell me what has been built in Nigeria over decades of fighting and building the "strongest army in the world".

Is there at least one person that can tell me what has been achieved?

Anyone?
what we have built?
We have built great businesses, companies and establishments.
We are developing our own technology without depending on white masters.
Most white southafrican companies have a Nigerian competitor, not only in Nigeria but in the african market.

sithwell: Apartheid? Where?

I don't see "no apartheid". I don't see anyone waging a war against the South African state? I see a government that gave us post-apartheid infrastructure. I see a government that neglected military spending, in preference of things that do matter. I see a government that can point to business interests, even in Nigeria, today.

I see South Africans going to the polls again next year, to further cement their democracy. I don't see "no islamist" insurgency in the country, today.
so you think the islamic insurgency is the fault of Nigerians?
Is your country better than England that suffered IRA attacks for years?
You are a foool.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by solomon111(m): 5:29pm On May 14, 2013
sithwell: Foaming at the mouth is not going to help you answer the question. I'm saying prosperity is a worthy cause. South Africa has interests - even in Nigeria. If you want to call that imperialism and bullying small countries, then so be it.

Nigeria has had decades within which to put together a nation. It boasts two military occupations, a current terrorist insurgency, infrastructure that's not where it needs to be, a huge section of the population that wants out of the nation and is happy to kill fellow Nigerians for the honour. Yet here you are talking about your military abilities.

So, "WTF" am I saying? I'm saying you are wasting time, money and lives. The results aren't at the same level that your military spending is in. It's all senseless bravado.
what fuccking interests do you have in Nigeria?
You think Nigeria is one of those countries you can bully?
During the yellow fever card debacle,we were almost nationalizing the few southafrican companies, until Zuma apologized.
Imperialism is a worthy course?
You are a slowpoke.
Your country is being dominated by the white minority, yet you flex your muscle against small african countries.
You are an idiott.
The so-called devt in your country was funded with borrowed money.
You have just 60million people with over $40billion debt.
Your country is a welfare state with an insignificant informal sector.
Keep living above your means and call it devt.
What a moronn.

The FCT is a federal govt domain.

ssaengine: No. I said this system. Don't put words from your imagination. A fully loaded Hawk and fully loaded Gripen will destroy it, simple as that. You only have 3 missiles to work with. If we enter your range of 30km and also fire our Umbani at you, you have to decide.....do you try shoot down the jets (which can defend themselves with A-Darter) or do you try destroy Umbani? Either it ends bad for you.
i laugh.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by solomon111(m): 4:42pm On May 14, 2013
ssaengine: It doesn't matter if the radar can scan 10 000 000km, if the missile can only travel 30km. 1 Gripen and 1 Hawk can neutralize this system. Armed with Umbani and A-Darter missiles. Destroying them 1 battery at a time.
your 1 grippen and 1 hawk will disable Nigeria's defence system without being shot down?
I pity your pilots.
