The Ghanian FA is claiming foul play. First, 5 of their first team players were kicked out cause of "failed COVID test". Also, there was a video stream at half time, apparently the Moroccan FA sprayed the dressing room of the Ghanians with toxic chemicals. They had to observe the break at the corridors as the room was too toxic for them to use. This is unbecoming for a competition that is primarily for development. I hope CAF looks into this.

Anybody know anything about Harmony Achifula and why she wasn't selected for our U17s? She scored 10 goals in 4 matches at a super 6.
If the Harmony girl is good, then Bankole Olowookere should bring her in. Ajakaye is the only main striker which is not too good

Morocco u17 women team will join the Flamingos u17 Nigeria team at the world cup in India later this year after they knocked out Ghana. Ghana travelled to Morocco with a 2-0 advantage but were overpowered by Morocco who beat them 2-0 to level scores and win the penalty shoot out 4-2.

Tanzania U17 will face Cameroon u17 to know who secures the last spot. Tanzania have a 4-1 advantage

Are you serious about this ?
We don’t have commanding & experienced defenders like William
Do this and see how the team leaks goals

The way you guys easily wish to throw out experienced and powerful centre backs baffles me. Who do you think fits that 6 position better than William
Akpoguma can take Troost place. Ejuke for Musa. Shehu Abdullahi has become chewing gum for all coaches

India 2022: Flamingos determined to put one leg in World Cup
newtelegraphng.com May 19, 2022 5:11 PM

Nigeria’s U17 girls are pumped up to do the hard work away from home by scoring as many goals as possible against hosts Ethiopia when both teams clash in a FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup final round, first leg encounter in Addis Ababa on Friday.

Fourteen goals for and none against is the tally of the Nigerian girls in this campaign, after 8-0 and 6-0 aggregate wins over DR Congo and Egypt respectively. Having won their two away games in the series, the Flamingos are determined to achieve another handsome win that will all but hand them the ticket to the finals in India in October this year.

The Nigeria delegation arrived in Addis Ababa on Wednesday night – which was at the behest of the technical crew as Ethiopia is high altitude territory. Head Coach Bankole Olowookere told thenff.com that his girls are upbeat about Friday’s encounter and will go all out for a win.

“We are confident. It is going to be a tough game no doubt, because the Ethiopians are also a good team. That’s why we have worked hard in the past weeks to perfect observed weak points. The girls know what is at stake and they will throw everything into the fray.”

Friday’s match will hold at the Abebe Bekila Stadium in Addis Ababa starting from 4pm Ethiopia time (2pm Nigeria time) and will be superintended by Namibian officials. The return leg is scheduled for the National Stadium, Abuja on Saturday, June 4.

U20 AFCON qualifier: Bosso set to name Flying Eagles final squad as team depart for Niamey
blueprint.ng Apr 25, 2022 8:45 PM

Ladan Bosso
Flying Eagles gaffer Ladan Bosso will announce his final squad for the U20 AFCON qualifying tournament in Niger Wednesday before the team travel out to Niger Republic the following day.

It will be an expanded squad of at least 28 players in keeping with Coronavirus protocols set by CAF.

The squad will be a fine mix of experienced NPFL stars and talented players from the lower leagues and academies.

Officials further told SCORENigeria that Bosso will use the final 10 days leading to the May 7 kick-off of the qualifiers to decide on his starting XI and also focus on the task ahead.

The team have so far won their first two test games and will play more such matches for the coaches to pick the final squad.

The Flying Eagles are drawn in a three-team Group B along with Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire.

A win in the first round will qualify them to the semifinals of the WAFU B qualifying series.

The two finalists of this tournament will advance to the U20 AFCON in Egypt in February.

U20 Camp Update!!

- Over 40 players have been dropped from the camp due to irregularities in age & TMS.

- Majority of the affected are league players.

- Close door screening for set of players to start on Monday.
- The WAFU B Championship will start on the 7th and ends of the 20th May in Niamey.

- Nigeria are in Group B alongside Ghana and Burkina Faso,

- Two finalists from event will qualify for the U20 2023 AFCON in Egypt.
Once bitten, twice shy...Ladan Bosso is correcting his mistakes. Better he goes for players in the academics and grassroots who are hungry for success and within the age limit rather than going for overaged NPFL players who are just looking for foreign clubs to snatch them away. I believe he will get it right this time. Just that the time is short.
