The point I want to believe some are pushing is that building to show that you have arrived or to pepper others is actually pushing those who never knew how you made your money into trying by any means possible to "outdo" you.

Build because you want to and because it gives you fulfillment, not because you wish to make others envy or worship you.

If you have actually made enough money legitimately, trust me, you don't even need to prove you have. The world will surely know.

There are people you haven't seen their homes but obviously have heard of them being rich and all that.

A successful man does not need to "pepper" anyone to prove that he's successful, it will naturally tell.

I want to believe the point here is the craze to show that I have arrived thereby leading to all manner of crime and whatnot.

Why do people want to make money?

The "popular" purpose is telling on our environment and society at large.

My philosophy : If I can't build a "memory giving" abode for my children while they are young and living with me, no point building anything beyond 2 bedroom house.

This is why it's good to build your abode when your children are still young. At least you will get like 15 to 20 years of them staying with you.

To me, if I can't build a family home while they are young, I'd just build a 2 bed bungalow going forward with the hopes that they will come around once a while to visit.

If your children are up to 15 years already before building, it's best you go for something simple and "moderate".

The Oyinbo houses we often copy, check the families that often live in them, their children grow in most of these houses.

Don't build a mansion because you want your children to inherit it when you are also praying they become bigger than you. Afterall, why are you building a mansion for your children if your parents already built one for you according to their taste?

Build because you want to enjoy it and not for them, they will build theirs too when they grow up as long as your prayers is for them to be better than you.

I understand your pain because i've been there.

When i started following the thread, NX3T was the first "Engineer" i had in mind to give my project to, he seemed like the best, professionally and he's in vogue.

I trusted NX3T too much to the extent that i could have recommended him for jobs even after i gave my job to wpgroom since he's an engineer in Ogun state.

When the whole accusations started, it felt like witchhunting, like maybe some were envious of NX3T, Man was too perfect to me, but when they linked him to Brabus and i read the 2016 saga, i was dissapointed but i felt he would change and prove others wrong this time around.

I defended him briefly last year but man, NX3T, you dissapointed a lot of people! You dissapointed a lot of guests in the section! Bro! You fall hands gannnnnn!

If i had given you the project naively, is this how i would be dragging you online daily? Omooor, i can't even pass through such experience again, the car debt issue drained me mentally and i can't imagine having to worry about an engineer holding down my money.

Shambolic might just mean they've not met your expectations. I expect them to qualify from the group, perhaps not with this quality of football they are playing. I never expected them to come winning all their games like 3 nil or so. They were lucky with the penalty against Zimbabwe(of course penalty is part of the game). I think they are yet the click, there is just something missing perhaps we might find that spark in the knockout stage. I know they got some one or two covid issues too, but that's not enough reason not to play some exciting soccer. However, barring Nigeria who has played well in the first game the other nations are somewhat not settled in the tournament. Algeria equally did worse than Senegal. They played a lesser seria leone team. Having defeated ghana in the friendly too. We can only hope that our team keeps its upward trajectory going

i concur to the above submission... Underquoting to get the contract was where the problem started from.. Whether HE N3xt have a defrauding mindset from the begining.. i dont know.....

But this mistake of underquoting which clients thinks they are saving money need to stop...

When u see contractor quoting unrealistic amount to do your project... please dont get greedy enough to award the project at such unsubstantial amount....
