Who can supply quality bamboo to Ibeju-Lekki and what is your price per piece?

Yesterday, we bought some bamboo for use in strengthening the one we used to hang the roof eaves. We are working to provide a safer working environment for all the workers who will use this scaffolding to work.

My carpenters will move this morning to start working on the scaffolding.

Plumbing piping works also planned to start today.

Please how long can scaffold last when erected?

I am asking because I am currently working on the copping (plaster) but wants to know if the same scaffold can be used for plastering (external) in 3 to 6 months time.

If the owner of that building dies, I doubt heads won't roll.

They sit in their offices, hardly visit construction sites.

When you see them, it's to come harrass and seal up sites they failed to inspect.
Suspending him should not be the last, each offices have redundant, criminal minded officials, they should make them sit up or be sacked.

House help me check If the cost of this roofing is right ..it is a flat surfaced roofing..just like this below .Except it cost 1.4m to get that done ..And my architect quoted 2.9m.

Without going into details, this is rather high.

Can you ask him to break down the quotation?

My brother government regulation where many of its agents is out there to make money for them self you probably know what you went through yourself, that is the society we find our self its so shameful doesn’t seems like there’s anything wrong with us may God help us

Our problem is mostly a people's problem.

Individually, we have greedy and heartless citizens in the majority.

Up till now, I'm still battling the 2m tax levy they placed on me.

This is a fee they can't back up after paying every other fees placed on my neck because I chose to build a shelter!

This is an approval I started since Jan!

Too many corner cutting.

Negligence
Using unqualified workers/contractors
Underquoting just to win contracts
Not following proper building codes
Using substandard materials

The list is just too many!


The worst of them all is the lack of regulation from the government!

One of the numerous reasons I find it difficult buying a house from most of these developers.

Profit focus is 99% their worry and will do everything in their power to see to that including cutting corners

LAPO is owned by a Nigerian, understands how Nigerians behave and know to work with Nigerians as per credit/borrowings and because of this, the public chose to hate LAPO and vilify it at every slight opportunity.

We know but regulation is needed.

Anything shouldn't go if we want an organized society.

We have desperate and hapless people in Nigeria due to the state of the economy for years now, so government need to protect these people, else these loan apps will drive some into crime just to pay back the ridiculous interest and you may likely be the victim of these crimes.

You want credit cards, when common online loan apps that people collect money from they'll come here to be looking for lawyers that will help them fight the company instead of just paying up

Those online loan apps aren't worth to be used as an example.

Their interest is criminal.

Because most Nigerians are not credit worthy

That's my major issue currently. I have money laying fallow in my account and I don't feel comfortable with that. I've searched for investment opportunities and I've tried some but they all fail due to representation, cos I'm not available to oversee them. Nonetheless, I still believe investment is far better than saving.

If its worth it, buy a land in an estate or location with visible development.
