Some people deserve it because Lagosians are very stubborn. They drive oneway and disregard traffic lights.
But what of their attitude of setting trap for people? Removing one way and no U-turn signs. They have even advanced to buying traveling boxes and standing where drivers can’t stop to book Uber rides. Any driver that makes the mistake of stopping there to pick them ehn… You are refering to LASTMA |

Try as much as possible not to fall for long grammar/plenty-of-pictures builders in your quest to get who to build for you. Most won't send you any evidence of their qualifications but some are still okay. Check old names on this thread, those who hardly post, put whichever name you are considering before them. MAKE use of their advice no matter how uncomfortable they put it. Do not be tempted at all. Lastly, whoever you're to work with, make sure you follow up, put someone to act as your eyes on site all the time. I wish you good speed. Ndyoo: It's so hard to actually know who's real and who's not. I am tired of Nigeria. How do you get proof of training, competence and experience from a building expert like you mentioned? Ask the person to provide certificate or what? I once encountered an architect that claims to be a building expert. Now the question is, would you allow an architect to build your house? And the big names here on nairaland.com will scare you away with their quotes because they are trying to create some buffer do to inflation. It's just tiring mehn. |

A plot of land is needed urgently on the main road at Ibeju-Lekki ( should be around Dangote, Free trade zone, deep port, or La Tropicana road).
It can be either before the aforementioned landmarks or a short distance after them.

Does anyone have the projection for Epe as an investment destination?
Let’s say, is there a government plan for that area in terms of development into a city just as it was with Surulere, Lekki, Victoria Island etal?
Been hearing of some developmental news from PPP sponsored narratives, but wouldn't mind reading from "ordinary people" like me on what they think or know about Epe as location. |

Jwonder: I dislike people like you, always acting delusional. come to Lagos, you will see them on mufti looking like touts with ak47, so it's those kind of people you will tell you want to speak to your lawyer, you will receive better slap. Just pray you don't encounter them, they will open threaten to shoot you and tag you as an armed robber. As expected from a typical Nigerian They have 2000 reasons why the right thing won't work rather than give it a trial as long as it is against their thought process. I listed the scenario in which my opinion should be used, but your typical Nigerian attitude ignored it. I get stopped by the police at least once a week and never have I been made to pay a dime or taken to the station. I just shared what works for me, but the usual closed-minded person you are is so quick to shut it down with loads of "reasons". Police men are humans and have things they check in those they stop before deciding what to do with them (Though there are exceptions). If you appear as prey, even a boy scout will take you for a ride. I repeat again, unless you're in an hostile/isolated environment, try what I listed above. |

When you have nothing to fear, do not offer any bribe.
If you want to scare a police man, just tell him you have the right to remain silent and wouldn't answer any of their questions if they cant expressly state your offense.
Going forward, ask them you want to speak with your lawyer.
NB: Only do this if the environment is not isolated or hostile. |

Mercychen: No amount of money is ever enough because the more the income, the higher your expenses and the more you'll want to improve your standard of living. All these end up gulping your finances, making your income insufficient at the end of the day. hence the need for a higher income. That is why the rich still hustle despite all they have.
Money is never enough at any level you find yourself. This is a wrong notion and must be reprogramed if you truly want to be financially free. |

spyder880: When I am buying bamboo for scaffolding, I look out for old bamboo. I call it old because young bamboo are usually hollow and easier to rot or spoil.
Old bamboos are those that has spent a lot of time alive, without being cut down. Many old bamboo wont have green colour on the base, they change colour to light green or even gray. Welcome Sir.
While installing the scaffolding, they should use 5" nail to nail them, and still use binding wire to tie it very well at the joining points and corners. This gives it more strength and stability. Great! Thanks so much. |
