Obviously the gospels are written in the 3rd person. And they never claim to know anyone who knows anyone in their story. They never even said they believe the story and how it affected their lives....they are so far from the story they are telling.

My reason for believing is hinged on the fact that God has provided every thing in the Tanakh. I don't see the need for jesus or the new testament...
