God promised the Israelites the Messiah but he came hundreds of years later.
Though God didn't mention the date he would come but they trusted him that he would send him.
Any foreigners among them that time could say that delay in sending the Messiah is a failed promised whereas the Jews understand their God.

When did God promise the Israelites the Messiah and what did he say about him? Did he ever say he was coming to die for sins??
