5solas:

You didn't see or read Matthew 11:25-27?

5solas:
So God is not omnipotent? Is that your argument?
What is the meaning of Jesus here? That He will save ALL?
Matthew 11

I believe in the whole Bible.

TESTIMONY!
Sister analice107 please come in and see the testimony I promised you on the 6th of June.

Last time when my dad was sick, I sought for advice here on whether to travel to my village and pray in our compound as i was feeling that the land was polluted and was also sensing some negative covenants in existence. I was advised to the contrary & I heeded. I cancelled my trip.

After my dad got his healing against a mysterious affliction (brain tumor), his nephew died weeks later. I saw all these in my dream but unable to prevent same. The younger brother to the deceased who happens to be rich started accusing my dad and mum of swapping my dad's sickness and killing his brother. He started calling everyone, spreading his lies, saying that he went to a place where it was revealed to him. He also asked my cousin if he knew whether I went to the village to pray, the type of prayer I said and whom or the group I went with. He accused him of following me too. (I didn't travel to the place, let alone praying there)

I started an intensive 7day prayer and later, my immediate family started a joint prayer too. At the beginning of the prayer, a lady came to my dream and tried kissing me. I pushed her away and cursed her, she retorted, "is is because of your 7 days prayer!". I demanded to see her face, she ran while I cursed her. A day later, a being came into my room, fully hooded in black from head to toe. He tried touching me while I was gazing at his empty black face. He later left through the walls, I jumped out of my bed and started praying seriously.

The next 2 days in my dream, people started bringing back my lost items, notable of which was my wallet. Some days later, I got a call inviting me for an interview the next day. I went for the interview in the morning and got another call same day for a chat in the afternoon. The same day, I was given a letter for my medicals, and two days later, I was given my appointment letter. I'm resuming this week.

Within the same week, I got two offers for private contracts which are still pending.

I will spare you guys of other testimonies relating to my family ish, as they are not complete yet.

Plz join me and thank God. PRAYER WORKS MARVELLOUSLY. Trust in God and you won't have to worry over anything. The battle is God's: the victory is ours.

Thanks for reading through. Praise God!

Is it not shameful that you read my post, which I proposed with real scriptures, but only replied with this response.

You said that I am twisting the scriptures to suit me? I won't take that serious until you DISPROVE me with BIBLICAL SCRIPTURE.

Until then, I will take you serious!

5solas:
The belief that a believer can lose salvation is false! You merely deceive the uninitiated while the initiated laugh at you. The belief is a conclusion founded on faulty premises. Keep it! Why those of us who believe we can't be lost will keep ours. Our belief is founded on the revealed truths which it is clear you are not ready to consider. Farewell!

raphieMontella:
clearly stated in the new testament... Ask and it shall be given onto u... Once that request is backed by faith... Dnt gimme roundabouts a statement is a statement..

HardMirror:
But this god says you should ask anything.

HardMirror:
Lol...
Weak.
So he shld trust doctors more than the God that had a covenant with him?
Have you forgotten how christians say "we shall believe the report of the Lord! His report says I am healed!"
so u are one pf those christians that does not trust God!

Teempakguy:
classic response.

An that is why your God will forever remain on the same level as the other 4200 gods that equally "do as they please"
In the realm of theistic delusion.

cloudgoddess:
So what's the point of praying?

freethinker01:
Seriously, I had a similar experience precisely a month ago that I even felt like sharing here here but I think this thread has giv'n me the avenue.
It happened to my Aunt who had a tumour(late tho') that was diagnosed to be carcinogenic(it was discoverd when she went for her regular check up). The doctor said it was good that it was discovered early so it won't metastasize and she would need to be operated. When she informed her husband, he bluntly and outrightly objected it saying as far as he's alive, no member of his family would undergo sugery(he even boasted of how his wife delivered their second baby normally even when the doctor said the only option she had was a CS) that it's convenant the Lord made with him. He said the God he serves has never failed him.
Well, as time went by. The man continued fasting and praying. He even went to the mountains. So also the tumour continued to grow still believein in His Yaweh.
Eventually, it was discovered the tumour was malignant and spread drastically within a month. My aunt gave up the ghost last month based on her husband's strong believe in God. Ooh, did I metion he's also a pastor?
Everyone that heard of it blamed him for being so stupid and jeopardizing the life of his wife.
Now, this is my quetion, as a believer, what exactly did the man do wrong?

Teempakguy:
you seem like a bold one.

so, answer this very simple question.

Mention ONE test that I can carry out to show that your God, and not Allah, is the most powerful and hence worthy of acknowledgement.

In other words, mention one thing that your God can do RIGHT NOW and ANYTIME. that Allah can't do RIGHT NOW and ANYTIME.

Alexandro15:
Thank you dear sister for your enlightening reply.
Am a strong christian, maybe not too strong as you guys but a Christian nonetheless. Am not particularly interested in the book because of the magic and stuff but cos it's a good literature and I was reading it for entertainment. I stopped reading it like a year ago, but most times I just feel the interest creeping in again.

What made me ask this question is that I discovered that anytime I read this book, when I sleep and wake up I would start hearing voices quoting some words from the book and it would be as if i was going mad. So when I saw that website in the internet, I quickly stopped it.

Thanks for taking your time to reply me. God bless you

Hello house
I do praise and worship ,feed my spirit with the Word, pray and other things but am not much of a user of anointing oil,I try to do it once in a while but really don't know how much spiritual effect it could have on me.

So on behalf of myself and others who don't as well,I ask to
1. know how to anoint the house and oneself
2.What prayer to prayer with/to the anointing oil before anointing
3.What is the spiritual benefit there when one anoint the house, the room and especially oneself

Ananias and sapphira
Acts 5:3;"3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath SATAN FILLED YOUR HEART TO LIE TO THE HOLYGHOST, and to keep back part of the price of the land?"
Vs 9;"9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to TEMPT the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out."

The above verses clearly shows that anainas and saphira were not believers but HYPOCRITES. For peter to say this; "..SATAN FILLED YOUR HEART TO LIE TO THE HOLYGHOST...." simply shows that ananias and saphira weren't believers, but satanic agents who devil wanted to use to MOCK and TEMPT THE HOLYGHOST. And they eventually met the holyghost on a bad and dangerous day!

And mind you, they weren't killed by God, but the devil did under the influence of the holyghost.

GOD DOESN'T KILL, THE DEVIL DOES!!!

If God kills, then what is the work of the devil? Jesus clearly told us what the work of God is and that of the devil!

John 10:10;"10 The thief(DEVIL) cometh not, but for to steal, and to KILL, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly"

The devil only KILLS, DESTROYS and STEAL, but God gives eternal life, salvation which is an abundant life.

So, they were of the devil, at the end of the day, the devil robbed, stole and KILLED them.

It is not the mind of God that ANY MAN, including ananias and saphira, will perish, but that all will come to repentance.

2peter 3:9;"9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH, but that ALL should come to repentance."

THAT'S THE WILL OF GOD!

3. LOVE GOD AND SURRENDER TO HIS WILL (MATHEW 22:23)

The third prerequisite to finding God’s will is to surrender to Him even before you know His will. The first commandment according to our Lord, is that you “love the lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” (Mathew 22:23). Such comprehensive love for God naturally results in total submission.
That surrender was clearly described in the words of the apostle Paul “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Rom 12:1-2 NKJV). All mortals have serious problem of submitting their will to God’s will. He knows we are all rebellious by nature, which is why we have difficulty loving Him to the point of surrendering our bodies and minds to Him. Such surrender begins with the will.
What do great men and women in the bible have in common? Their love for God caused them to surrender to His will for their life, and their success can be measured in different proportion to their surrender. For confirmation of that fact, read the biographies of Noah, Abraham, Moses, Hannah, Esther, Elijah, David, Daniel- the list is endless. It continues into the New Testament with Virgin Mary, Peter, John, Paul, and many others, then marches throughout two thousand years of church history with Wycliffe, Knox, Moody, Finney, Gosforth, and millions more.
Study the following two verses in which God promises to reveal His will. Notice that these promises presuppose that the person seeking God’s will is already committed to doing it.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye. (Ps 32:8 NKJV)

Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying,
"This is the way, walk in it,"
Whenever you turn to the right hand
Or whenever you turn to the left. (Isa 30:21 NKJV)

Personally, I doubt God gives such guidance to Christians whom He knows will not heed His voice. If you really want to know God’s will, surrender to Him before He reveals it.
You can surrender gladly to God’s will because you can trust that his will is good. Because He is a loving heavenly Father, you never need to worry about His design for your life. He certainly will direct your life more successfully than you can.
