They can be really annoying. Are you male or female?

If male, They will also require a passport photo from you and insist you put on a tie in it.

You’ll also need to write a letter apart from that from WES requesting for your transcript.

Hope this helps.

pls dm me..my sister didn have to go that far for it....

My Dear People of Canada with temporary residence in Nigeria, good morning. The ministry is moving to the permanent site and we will all get there.

I have not been able to read all the good wishes but I have been told offline that people are waiting so I must say something. I had initially decided that I was not going to announce PPR here but when people kept praying for me everyday I realized it would not be fair to allow you guys continue a prayer that has been answered. Thank you all for the love.

There was nothing special about my application, ECA took 8 months because my University was closed down for a year. My 'boti' Hubby had to go there and spent three days in my 'bush school' sorting it out.

IELTS was easy for us, I didn't even realize it could be an issue until I got to Nairaland and saw what people were going through. I spent five days on the move preparing for it but I made sure I did all the practice tests provided by BC, I also recorded myself speaking and sent to hubby

congratulations once again....you must be there for me when i need to give detailed note on LOE..lol

Application from AOR to PPR took 6 months and two days. I will not be providing specific dates. There was an ADR for travel history (we are both ajalas).

Ordered GCMS and got it about 3 months into the application, all was fine. I just knew LVO was not touching it. Nothing was wrong.

I am that spouse that does not want to relocate, I am sure a lot of people will be surprised considering how active I am here. I just want to encourage everyone to take decisions with logic and not emotions. Emotionally, I cannot leave this place, my support system is here, I know my way around here. However, logic tells me that the fundamentals are not adding up, emerging countries do not become developed by miracle, there are certain things that must be in place and we simply do not have those things.

So, when Hubby came up with this idea (now he has cold feet...lol), I said okay if that is what you want to do I will support you. I took it and ran with it, my first port of call was Nairaland, over the last 11 years, I have browsed Nairaland for information on major projects in my life, the wealth of information is amazing. Seun's brain child is amazing. I have made amazing real life friends on this forum.

So what do I have to offer to the house? Advice to people that have not submitted their applications is, be detailed, if something does not seem apparent; explain it. Newmum0615 does NOCs; I do LOEs but LOEs have to be taken offline because specific details of people's lives are in it.

I am a project person, after I complete a project, I move on to the next. After some months I may not be so active here again but if anyone sends me a PM, I will respond.

Need to go now before I start crying, I will respond to all the love you guys have shown me when I get a moment. Love you all.

It would be easier and faster if we all asked our questions here and receive support from everyone else, as well as allow others learn from the answers given.

..please as regards the consent letter from spouse..was it written and signed or an affidavit in court..
thanks

Been a while i came here.
Tuwale to all those giving information here, congrats to new mums n dads.....
Missed this thread... And am here to give back..

I gave birth to my daughter in 2015 in Hoston, and I gave my reviews then.. I had a good POE experience and paid all my bill.. I stated that I was going to use 10wks but I used 5month..thankfully my Job was still waiting for me..

So I did my Dropbox 2wk ago and I was given two years visa, I just did the collection at DHL Isolo. Truth b told I was scared because of stories here of been given 221g etc.. But it all ended in praise..

Maybe its luck, maybe its my data base with the US...

What is important is to be truthful to the US Embassy, every county wants money, no country wants liability hence when ur trying to go to another man's country just say the truth..am going for delivery (show proof of going back to ur country n proof of not being a burden to them).

please at what point re you not eligible for drop box....i mean how many yrs from expiration of visa

I'm so excited!!. First time writing IELTS, got my perfect scores with CRS 475.

Result: LRWS=8,9,7,8.

Even with the little drama regarding my speaking test rescheduling. Thanks to the guys that suggested and emailed me contacts to get my speaking test rescheduled, I was contacted by the BC examiner for my test centre @sorefunmi @happytbaby.

Could've gotten a 9 in Listening but I got bored and my mind started to wander towards the end so I missed a few answers.
Speaking result was unexpected as the lady examiner was smiling at me and everything I said a little too much and might've distracted me a little...lol
For writing in my opinion, the time given was too short or it just went by fast to get all my points down.

Nairaland is such a wonderful place with amazing people willing to help all the time. Off I go to create my EE profile.

congrats ..glad i was able to help in my own little way....

Long Post Alert.

The Beginning
When I started this journey in 2013 I applied for Study Visa and was refused based on the fact that the Visa officer thought I was unable to prove the source of the funds I was using as Proof of Funds. I was a little naïve in the visa application process at the time and although I applied myself, I tidied the application to the best of my knowledge but we all know that these visa officers do their best to weed people out based on any available excuse. Fast forward to 2014 I re-applied again this time with a better story and tuition paid upfront and was again rejected on the basis that I was unable to prove that I had sufficient funds to pay for tuition and survive without working in Canada. I was infuriated wondering where the visa officer left his glasses being that I had paid the tuition in full and attached the relevant receipts. Of course, I appealed, and nothing was done so I retained the services of an Immigration Lawyer I once met at a conference, did an affidavit and forwarded to him to appeal on my behalf. To cut the long story short I won and was later issued the visa, but I never travelled with the study visa, I guess the delay made me realise that I really didn’t want to travel on a student visa and as a single man.

IELTS
I joined the express entry thread in July 2017 after I enrolled for IELTS, for those still writing IELTS I believe the secret to acing it is to determine your strengths and weaknesses. For me, I didn’t have to practice Speaking, writing and Reading; they came to me naturally, but the listening bit was the mountain to surmount as I had to write it twice. Spend more time on the modules you are not naturally attracted to and work on areas of improvement. Some will require one week to practice depending on the areas of improvement while others may not get a grip of it until after a month.

Big congratulations..greater things ahead

GlitteringStar:

1. You can scan and upload the issued visas and stamped travel pages for the current passport only. Try to merge the bio-data page (this will be the first page) and stamped pages into a single PDF file.

2. Some do fill the form upfront while others don't. It all depends on you.

* Declare the visa refusal.
at glittering star..congratulation sis...so happy for you...the messages on this thread shows how much contributions towards answering and giving genuine responses in helping others..May GOD CONTINUE TO FAVOR YOU AND UR FAMILY EVERYWHERE YOU GO.....

Went down the drain...he claims they couldn't find my records in the file room. Its a diploma by the way. I need it to claim points for "two or more certificates". He even said I will need to pay another school fees to do clearance and apply for transcript. Such a shame that Nigeria is like this, I left the school in 2006 and I was given a to whom it may concern

I feel so sad seeing this post about MR xxxxx ..I remember i gave you his contacts and you explained how they haven't found your results which i know very well, its the school who has issues not the man in question..he helped me with my transcripts and so others i introduced without no stories..the 51k was paid to school and sure not him..its very bad when you come here and say things like this.......now i know why pple are always reluctant to help others...please i advise you put down your post ....

Call Mrs Kaka on 07052112362, I think she's in charge of the verification process. I called her on the same day I observed the school verification notice on my WES profile and got a mail the following day that it's been done and the review was in progress. Just ensure you tell her you got her num online from an ex-student if she asks, have your reference number and date the mail was sent at hand. Thanks to all the beautiful people on this forum! My second transcript from OSU was a speedy one despite the strike, got it without stepping a foot in the school even postage to WES was done by one Mr Aina I got his num from this forum. All I did was send money to him. There are still some good people! God bless you all! All the best!
i can testify to this..i got my transcripts and sent to IQAS Via fedex delievered within three days..i urge anyone collecting transcipts from OOU to do the needful by also paying for courier services,if not..it will be issued and not sent ...things are getting better i believe
