Health / Re: Doctors Putting Hands On Private Parts During Antenatal by soulglo: 2:10am On Feb 18, 2015
Dera25:
Please I need a matured advice, I have been having this argument with my fiancee and I want to confirm from the house especially ladies. She said that during antenatal there is a stage the doctor will start putingt his hand on the private part to examine the condition of the baby. But my problem with this is not only to confirm the authenticity of this story but I am feeling so disguise on how the male doctor will be putting hands on someone's dearly wife because of antenatal not even during child birth. No insult please

He has to out his hand in there at some point. Do you really think a gynecologist's job is to just stare at the vaginas. Even your regular yearly exams require a pelvic exam. Your gynecologists will insert fingers in your vagina and push down on your stomach to check for fibroids or possible abnormalities. Doesn't she do her regular yearly exams now?

LOL

epilepsy starts when you are really young
all my cousins were diagnosed when they were really young like 7, 8 yrs old

I dont think I will ever show signs or have it in this my old age

and the epilepsy in my family is kinda weird
they dont gnash their teeth

my 19 year old cousin, just looks into the sky for like 5 seconds
and falls on the floor and remain unconscious for like 10 seconds
then stands up, continue what was she was doing before the seizure without acting like something happened before

Sounds more like a drop seizure. Don't know the medical term. I hope they get all the love and support they need

For a woman, it is the most shameful act but for men, I guess more than 90% of men do have extra marital affair at least once in the first 10yrs of their marriage. More than 70% continue with it until they are very old. I am talking about African countries. Yet, they are considered as good spouse as most wives are not ready to divorce for that purpose.

Mem are polygamous in nature while women are contorlled by hypergammy.

I am monogamous by choice. It's not because there are no fine ass men walking around that are willing to have sex. It would be easy to cheat. I make the choice not to. The fact is that it is actually easier for a woman to get sex than a man. This idea that animalistic behavior in men is just some biological flaw that they cannot help is ridiculous. Being a LovePeddler is a choice.

Renowned feminist writer Flora Nwapa said something onetime. She said " a woman shouldn't ruin her life because of a bad marriage. She has a choice, a choice to marry and have children, a choice to marry and divorce their husbands. Marriage is not THE only way." My point is, if u feel frustrated, wouldn't u rather be a divorcee than a convict? Walk out if u feel the situation is beyond remedy and prove u are better off without him!...let's turn the table around, he for don deport u go ur Pman house tay tay. Don't let societal expectations be ur excuse, society would still castigate u if u stay back and prolly lose ur temper one day. Marriage is not the only way!

#gotcha back girl!
Didn't know Flora Nwapa was a feminist. My mom bought me Efuru. I think I was about 14 years old then. Looking back now it does make sense. Very strong women in Efuru. In fact I'm going on Amazon to see if I can get that book. I probably read it like a million times

No wonder NIGERIANS don't have a problem bringing children from the village to come raise their children in the city. Imagine sambarry trying to justify this nonsense. Why weren't you sold to the highest bidder at 13 years of age after all at that age you could rule the world.

Op you don't have to kill him. You can make his life miserable without him knowing you are the one behind his misfortunes.
I don't know why men are so stupîd and useless when it comes to sex. The STDs flying around should be enough to keep people from being promiscuous but they don't have any sense so they keep seeking vagina like rabid dogs with no self control.
Am sure you saw signs of his promiscuity before the marriage but went ahead to marry him because you thought you just had to be married. Marriage is not a do or die affair, only fools think it is.

She might not he have seen that in him. She says he did not have a good job then but does now. Going from the posts I see here it seems that Nigerian men generally cannot handle earning a respectable living. It might be a symptom of many growing up impoverished. It seems when they get a little bit of money they must womanize until they die from a disease.

Get a divorce and please don't marry anybody else. He is an idiot but at least he does not have a plan to kill somebody. You choose to stay in a marriage with a LovePeddler and then you want to kill him. Are you glued to him?

If a spouse is faithful in many things but one. Fulfills all other responsibilities to the partner and the children but for some reason the person can't stop extramarital affairs.

Would that singular act make him or her a terrible person to live with as a spouse and a parent?

It makes for a horrible partner. Continuing to have sex outside the marriage is simply a refusal to do the right thing. It is a choice. A choice to keep hurting the person who has vowed to stay with you.

the guy above me is not just ok sad..how did he book the ftc space before me cry

there is more to this story..how can a woman leave her children uncared for for 3 weeks..and it could have been longer if she wasnt alerted that she is being investigated

Another could did the same here in the US and in my opinion just got away on a technicality. They claimed they left the kids in the care of a 25 year old friend. The friend was not coming over to check on the kids. The parents were in Nigeria for more than a month and claim that they communicated with the adult friend a few times and he told them all was well. I keep asking myself what type of parents go a whole month without talking to their children.

It seems even when these women leave their lives are still in danger. One of them was already divorced and he hunted her down. This lady was already on her way out. She should have lodged in a hotel. The one who got killed last year had lived out of town in school. It was when she came back she was murdered. I hope mothers are watching these threads closely. The atmosphere you choose to remain in and raise your children is their foundation for the future. I also know of families where every single man beats their wives. It really is a learned behavior in most cases

But nne if you hear the full gist, the woman did him wrong
The man found out their only child and son was fathered by her lover in Nigeria that she had kept in touch with for all 20 years and she was planning to leave him for the man.
A respectable pharmacist,the man snapped

So what? He can blame his culture that insist on a woman having a baby before you marry her. He obviously is unable to father a child but in Ngeria it is always a woman's issue. There's no excuse to kill someone. He could have moved on but he chose to kill her instead. He should rot in jail.

op please settle with the bank and don't sue anybody. the lawyer might get u into a court case and continue extorting money from u while the case drags on indefinitely given the messed up courts in Nigeria, besides SARS if sued can make ur family disappear overnight and nothing will happen. i know a guy that won a case against EFCC and they turned around to rearrest him indefinitely. SARS would do worse. just settle with the bank cos the bank was not responsible and would do anything to avoid a police case in my own experience. leave everything to God.

Please take your mom for both a physical and mental check up. She likely went through more than she can ever tell you. I give up on Nigeria

Do you really need to ask LOL

He is not ready to fix the problem. He wants someone to tell him that his wife is the devil for looking through his phone.

OP you need to grow up. Your wife might be wrong for searching through your phone but that is the smaller issue here. The fact that you have refused to take responsibility for anything is very telling. You will not even admit that you have been whoring yourself out. You either think that the people you are hoping to get responses from are fools or that you truly feel that you have the right to do whatever you want to and take no responsibility. In either case you would be wrong.
I am willing to bet that you have been playing games for a while and when confronted you have lied through your teeth and she finally guessed the password probably from weeks or maybe even months of trying. Some women go crazy just trying to prove that they are not imagining things when their husbands are cheating. So now she has the proof and you cannot lie anymore and what do you do? You come one nairaland and gloss over what she saw and focus on the part were she went looking in your phone.
Looking through your phone is wrong but that is not the real issue here.

Some Of dem become hardened criminals while som of de gals go to flourmill where dey prostitute, underaged girls! saw a couple of lil gals the other day and one of dem was scattering a nearby refuse dump n I asked her to stop dat n she said no,I asked her why, den she asked me if I was goin 2 give her food dat she was checkin if she wul find somtin to eat in d dirts , n I asked if she wul stop if I gave her food, she agreed, so I got somtin 4 her n d other gals. Believe me dose pple are wonderful, dey are jus not lucky like some of us with caring parents or guardians. They shul be other ways to handled accused children Dan sending dem to the streets or torturing dem. How about a mass deliverance program for dem or somtin else !

I'm totally heartbroken to read this. Do these kids just roam the streets? Nigeria and their bragging about family values. I'm so angry and sad about this. I feel helpless

Why do people do this though. It's so classless. An old friend in Nigeria had something tragic happen and we were raising money. Another school friend was handling it and people started putting in money and the next thing you would see them updating the names and amounts on facebook and on text message. I refused to contribute to that show of shame. I sent my money to her directly.
