DAVE5:After he puts his dinner in his plate, get a ruler and measure the slices of yam and then cut off a few inches of each slice his plate and put it in your plate. Sit down and eat without saying a word. |
How had is it to child proof your house. Batteries are very dangerous. If you cannot keep your 9 month old from batteries then you have a real problem. The child is not even running around yet. What are you going to do then? This is not a laughing matter. |
I know women who find it hard to apologize. I haven't dealt with this issue personally but I'd like to know how men are so skilled at following a conversation and insert "yes" and "absolutely" when necessary and when you ask them about it a week later they look at you like you just grew an extra eye. Seriously ![]() You responded and yet you were not listening? |
EfemenaXY:You'd be surprised. I saw a show were they had not had sex since their 5 year old was born. |
2 weeks is too long. Log off nairaland and go find out what his problem is |
Silly boys |
Epidural all the way. Anybody who tells me otherwise does not have my best interest at heart. |
gemini35:I hope that sex you had was with your wife. Please educate yourself. This is so embarrassing. I don't think you people get that you sound confused. What the hell is deliverance? Deliverance from what and by whom? LMAO @ do ladies have wet dreams. |
You can bring it up. Get an idea of how much they know or what they think of what they saw. Don't feed them more than they need to know. Walking in on mommy and daddy making love is not the worst thing in the world. For a teenager, it might be a serious ewww moment but for children that young, it should be discussed to the level that they seem interested in. They do not need to know that mommy was worshipping at the alter ![]() |
I don't see a picture but she's a skinny woman and she likes it that way. In fact in her world it is impossible to be too skinny. The skinnier the better. Her cancer was caught in the very early stages. She's well by God's grace. |
I remember a couple of years ago a male Nigerian artist had talked about his sexual abuse as a child at the hands of their maid. The guy got laughed at on social media. He was called everything from a punk to a liar. It was sad to read that. Sexual abuse regardless of the gender will leave scars. May God protect our children |
If you cannot raise someone's child why marry someone who has children. The ones I find impossible to understand are those who have children of their own but yet maltreat the children of the person they claim to love. I'm glad you got through it. The thought of adults mistreating children just always makes me angry. |
duality:Wow. I knew it. Denzel Washington and Blair Underwood are my spiritual husbands. Can I have more than one. I want both. |
jmoore:ROTFLMAO |
Bottom line is her excuse is her excuse. There's really nothing you can do about it. That's why communication is key in a relationship. If she's not well or tired then what more do you want? The only thing you should be doing is asking yourself the questions that only you know the answers to. Is she doing it a lot? Do you feel that she is making up these excuses? Does she work long hours? Is she pregnant and dealing with fatigue? Are there other underlying issues? This is were you need to have a conversation and not guess what might really be going on. If you are feeling neglected by her then open your mouth and tell her that you feel neglected in that department. |
ROTFLMAO. He made a video. Sigh. I watched the first few seconds. I heard him state his name and I was out. What is the point? |
Who is raising these kids these days in Nigeria? Why does a 16 year old have a boyfriend? Where did she get the acid? I cannot even fathom how a 16 year old could plan out such a cruel act. 16 year old girl and penis have no business with each other. She's old enough to be tried as an adult. Lock her up and throw away the key because she's a menace to society. |
Imanuelle:It has nothing to do with women. It is a problem with the system. Did he kill the chicken out of spite or was it an accident? If he did it out of spite then there should be very real consequences. A young child that age killing animals out of anger can end up killing humans. What would have been better would have been to put him in a place were he could get help in dealing with his emotions normally and putting him in a group home would be a better option than jail or "remand home". I would still like to know where his parents are as nothing was said about them. Ultimately, even the parents should do the right thing and make sure a child gets the message loud and clear that killing anything because you are angry will not be tolerated. |
farano:I think you should politely refuse it. He should be mature enough to understand it. It would be unfair to accept it |
Is that a bowtie or a helicopter propeller he is wearing |
moca:I also feel that she's jealous of the ex and its that anger she's transferring to the child. She has basically drawn a line. Me agains his woman. Her child against my children. She sees the woman and the child as a threat. Why she even wants this relationship blows my mind |
CFCfan:Thank you. |
cococandy:At least one of those women was not NIgerian. There was a Senegalese woman who was even pregnant. The man wrapped his hands around his pregnant wife's neck and squeezed it until she was dead. Imagine. Maybe some of his "Nigeria" rubbed of on her and she started to act like a Nigerian woman and as such deserved to be killed. |
How is the hierarchy set up in Nigeria. If a VP dies or resigns, who becomes VP. Does the President get to appoint or is the speaker of the house next in line? |
Most of them are ugly. That pod bed by the way is about $21,000.00 I saw a similar one and you can charge your apple products in it. SMH |
sexylemo:Is he in Nigeria? He needs to see his GP who can give him a referral to a someone who could help him. If he is in the US then he is covered under his parents health insurance and insurance usually pays for therapy or medication he might need. Please do not put it off. Where ever he is, he will need professional help. There are people here who have shared stories of how medication has helped them and they live in Nigeria. Do a search in the health section. There's hope. |
coogar:You're pathetic |
mutter:Mutter, you are being hypocritical. You really need to stop. You want rapists to go free because society is harsh? That's essentially what you are saying. I told you I was a victim of sexual assault and that I never felt shame about it. So I was very shocked when I read that the same thing happened to you and yet you still insist that rapist should go free and keep raping. Do you even see why people are frustrated with you. You do not use your experiences to help others but to further victimize them. You will be the type to advice another woman not to report her baby's rape because of what people will say. They'll send that housemaid out of the house and unto another innocent family who will have a child experience the same horror that you and I endured. I know someone in Nigeria who's children all have herpes. They caught a maid doing inappropriate things with one of the kids. I'm willing to bet that those kids got exposed to herpes from her or one of the maids who have full access to the children. Maybe if someone else had reported it before when this maid was inappropriate that she would not have been allowed near kids. Why not use the energy you use to vehemently defend rapists and murderers to fight for a sexual predator registry in Nigeria. You are going about this the wrong way. I personally do not see your sharing as "dirty laundry" and I'll beg the person who said that to apologize. I'm sure she did not mean it. Sometimes it is good for us to share experiences. Someone else might read through this thread and decide that they must report on follow up on any cases of rape they hear about. It takes a lot for an adult to overcome the after effects of rape. Imagine what a child would go through. |
edwife:Should we blame this man for sticking his neck out for a stabbing? SMH. Divorce is always an option. |
coogar:SMH. You mean the same way Mutter cooked and scraped for her demon and still got treated the way she was. I feel sorry for you |
LostMermaid:So you expect me to believe that nobody in your real life ever told you that your thoughts towards this child were evil? I think you came on nairaland hoping that someone would say that it is not unusual to think that way. You have resentful feelings towards a 4 year old child. How much worse could it get? You might not be a monster but you need to be honest with yourself. Some women can love and raise a child that they did not give birth to like their own. Some cannot. You fall under the category of the "cannot". Don't give yourself and this child a life time of misery. If this father loves this child as much as you say, the truth is that you will not be around too much longer because you can only pretend so much. The man loves his child and let's face it, he replaced the child's mother and can replace you too. His child though is going no where. The child is the fixture here. Your first post was honest but then when it gets broken down, you distance yourself from it. If you were already married to him, I would say something different. |
Ewuro4:Yes, really. I want to see it. Where anybody mocked her. It is very important to me |
