See, folks don't get charged for anything based on accusations alone in the west - before charging you, they'll do thorough investigation.

1). Both parties would be questioned on how they met and what transpired. And inconsistencies/plausibility would be noted. Bear in mind that those who would do the questioning are psychologists.

2). Then evidences are gathered. And I'm sure before she was hired, the guys must have contacted someone either by phone calls, text msgs, phone apps instant messenger etc.. Those are going to form the nucleus of the investigation. You don't need to record folks for police to know what happened - they have more than enough equipments to do that.

3). They were at a eatery together and those in there would be questioned.

That should be enough to put 2 and 2 together, to know who she's. Prosecutors aren't silly, and no one will go to court with a silly case that would get thrown out of court after the first hearing. And the police won't even charge anyone for something as stupid as this - after the first interrogation, to be honest.

Also, apparently, prostitution is illegal in Nigeria - so she might even end up in jail, when it's all said and done. In certain countries in the west, the fact that she might not be registered is a crime punishable by law. She has no case. She was aware that her picture was taken (evidence is in the picture), but rather than the fame she wanted, she got called out by her name. In the US, the only reason that this would not turn into a civil lawsuit is because the case will be settled out of court and they'll make her sign a non disclosure agreement. If she's not willing to do so and wants to go to trial, she has a strong case. The one truth we know in this whole thing is that he posted that on a public website and that is libel. It is even worse than slander in the eyes of the law. Also even if they have phone calls (which I doubt people like these would think to do before they start typing on twitter) it would not be admissible in court because in most states the person you are speaking to has to be aware that you are recording them. In fact in some states you could be breaking serious laws by taping someone without letting them know. You might get sued in civil court, lose there, and then face criminal charges.
