This is the effect of over value of paper certificate without knowledge.
Nigeria value certificate more than experience and that have made every one to run after certificate leaving knowledge.
where i work, our accountant do not know the difference between trial balance and ledger. He cannot do simple bank reconciliation statement. He parades a b.sc and m.sc certificate from ESUT. These are basic thing a WAEC holder should be able to do with ease.
The list may be more than this if a critical look is taken at all the universities.

Sounds great but why should the police kill the man in order to arrest him? Why not arrest him alife and show him and the explosives he is carrying to the public? His relatives and others would have seen him and make many useful revelations that would have help police in their work. Recall what made this boko haram restive is the killing of Mohammadu Yusuf, their leader by police. I think our police is failing in their intelligence and tactics. If they have arrested the man alife, he would have made many useful confessional statement which is not possible again. God help us.
