It’s obvious April applicants are getting updates and Early March applicants like me are getting no update, cos I just see one or two people that applied in April now saying they’ve got NSE request, My application (re-application) has been going through background check since the very day I submitted in March and yet, no update, (no upfront medical, nor mbs or ielts, just Normal reapplication, already had biometrics in my previous application).

Is there anyone who can justify this and give Early March hopes if possible,
Is there anyone in the same or similar shoe??
Going to seven weeks now, no update at all.
No two applications are the same.

Mid-march here, and I'm positive my application is at the final stage.

Eligibility started last month.

Good morning, I just got this now, and I remember telling them I was denied visa 2019 and all, while filling the im form, I just check all my files, and everything was answered correctly, even the im form of 5257 doesn’t have a USA denied question, it’s im 1294e, that has that question..please I would appreciate if someone could help me out how I should tackle this, or if someone was been sent a wrong false accuse information.
I remember someone having this problem and how he solved it
Please anybody who could help, I would appreciate it

You still do not understand how dire this situation is. You place emphasis on the IMM form and don't seem to be worried about the chargeback.

Good luck!

What does the bolded even mean? (rhetorical question) It's not exactly logical- it really doesn't matter which form asked about it, as long as the answer is false.

Hmmm

The Visa officer probably believes that you are not an honest person. The goal now is to convince him/her that you are.

Argue your case confidently, giving all the facts, but don't be rude.

Make sure you put down your application number and CIC number.

I can't tell you how to go about convincing the VO because you and you alone understand what you filled and what you didn't.

As for chargeback. A chargeback is like a refund on your debited transaction... For example, after paying for the visa fee, you recovered the money. This may be seen as a tricky stunt.

This is why I think the VO is highly suspicious of you, and you must do all you can to convince him or her otherwise.

Even if he or she is going to refuse you visa, defend yourself enough to steer clear of a five year ban.

I meant to type "shedding", as in removing some docs. For instance, two docs that served the same purpose; I removed one, my four page transcript; I removed the first and last page. I thought that since I uploaded my degree cert and my intended course of study &work experience has little or nothing to do with my transcript, coupled with the fact that I had to achieve the much needed 4.09 mb, I could "shed" some pages with not so important information....I realize I was wrong.

I will send a webform first thing tomorrow with a letter of explanation.
Yes, good idea.

It will end in praise.

Nope my understanding is 14 days in total... 3 days where u land and the remaining 11 days wherever you choose.
Oh okay. 14 days altogether. Sounds logical.

Okay. Even if i dont get the approval when i really need it, is there a possibility will get later even if it means defering the admission ?
Yes

A deferment/deferral is the best alternative at the moment.

First bank finally came through with mbs, after my sponsor visited 4 different first bank branches. sad sigh.

How do I add the mbs to my online application?

Thanks
If you've submitted your application already, send the mbs ticket to IRCC via email or webform.

Type a message along with the attachment to inform them what it is you are sending, and why you are sending it.

So the remaining days should be 11 days right
I initially thought it's 17 days from the moment one steps into Canada, but I now concur with the 14 days stated by others, as this sounds logical and medically sensible, considering the internationally recommended isolation period for suspected cases of corona-virus.

However, you should ascertain from other members in the house.

I have submitted my application already like that. I was so scared that VO won't see the contents when they all appeared blurry so I started shading some documents. Please is their a way I can send additional documents and maybe reattach the transcript?
You should have asked questions on this platform?

Did you just say you shaded documents shocked

What you can do now is send your transcript via email to IRCC. Also, write a letter of explanation addressing sensitive issues, and send to them.

Then pray!

.
Since you 'uploaded' all documents today, that's merely uploading.

To submit your application, you must pay Visa fee and Biometrics fee.

Please go back to your portal and do that first.

Since you are submitting in April, the probability of getting a visa approval at the time you really need it (May) is slim.

Thanks but what am asking is that am I booking 3 days and then 11 days
Oh okay, sorry.

You will only be booking for three days mandatory.

After that, you can decide if you want to stay longer or move to another accommodation.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Spectro: 9:30pm On Apr 19, 2021
Wifefo88:
Please someone should respond to this
No, you won't be paying.

However, you will be moving to your accommodation (if it's a rented apartment, you will pay as expected. But if it's a sibling's place or friend's place, you wont)

Then again, you are not paying for the three days quarantine... You are simply paying for the accommodation close to the airport where you have to quarantine for three days.

Can i get admitted for a master degree program in a Canadian University with a 3.0 GPA in Political science?

If yes, can someone help with schools and link where I can apply?
A cgpa of 3.0 is kinda low for a Masters program in Canada. Your best bet is a post graduate certificate in a college.

Hello, fams.

I am developing a website that will make learning much easier and cheaper for your wards, especially when you travel to Canada.

You know you may not be able to get private tutors abroad (wage rate things). However, my website will be able to provide your children computerized tutorial, video lessons, and CBTs at 20 CAD per month (starting from September 09).

Tklesson is a tutorial that mirrors the physical classroom system. The project is ongoing at the moment. It's focusing on the academic needs of primary and secondary school students presently.

You can visit my website www.tklesson.com to see the work I've been doing so far.

You may follow tklesson on Instagram to get updates on our programs.

Please urgent question to the boss in the house, my brother had HND and now doing is PGD (about to finish).

Can he go for a masters degree or phd in canada

Does he needs to verify his result and which would he verify ? HND or PGD cert or both ?

Is there an head for funding irrespective of doing Msc or Phd ?

Please id be glad if its been justify
Since your brother is about to earn a PGD, the next step is masters degree.

No verification of result is required. He merely needs to have his academic transcripts.

If he has both transcripts for HND and PGD, then he can attach both while applying for student visa.

He can attach all the transcripts he has... Anything to satiate the immigration officers.

With a PGD, the next step is a Masters program. If he wants to go into research work (Mresearch), he may find funding. Otherwise, it's hard finding funding in Canada for course work.

Ontario is presently on lockdown. For those of you who are traveling to Canada, it's essential you acquaint yourself with news regarding ongoing events in Canada, so that you won't be caught unawares.

I really don't know how this decision will impact air-travel and quarantine laws. You may want to stay abreast of the news.

It appears the two of you had the same issue of oversight.

Thank God it's been resolved.

Anyway, medical request can be as quick as a month after application and as long as eight months. On average, it's 4 months.

In the 4th month, applicants should start being proactive. In other words, applicants should start sending email or webform to IRCC if they do not get any response in the fourth month.

The purpose of the MBS system is to ascertain the veracity and genuineness of the bank statement. If you are sending a letter along with your bank statement, it still won't compare. It may work, though- I don't know.

The best thing is for the bank to send the bank statement directly to IRCC on your behalf. That way, they will know it's coming directly from the bank.

Good evening everyone, I need information on payment for the visa application fee.
Gtbank is declining the transaction saying 235 CAD is more than the limit allowed
Is this the same with other bank cards or just GTB.
You can't pay with Naira card. Naira card is limited to 100 Dollars. You can either pay via Dollar card or you ask someone abroad to pay for you.

Please endeavour to read many of the posts from previous pages. You will find that most of these issues/enquiries have been resolved.

I am sure it was an oversight.

Since you haven't gotten medical request, I think you should send an email to IRCC, with the hope that this may expedite the process. While this is your fourth month, and there are people who get their final decisions in the sixth month, I still advise you send an email to IRCC.

But you shouldn't be too worried about this since it has not exceeded the 20 weeks standard processing time.

I am sure there's been a mistake regarding your post. Maybe if you look through the thread, you will fathom the preceding conversations.

The OP is not too familiar with what is happening. I was trying to reassure him/her because I have not gotten medical request myself.

The other person you quoted has a worrisome case and therefore has every reason to be worried.

I am sure you misjudged as a result of oversight.

I submitted my application a few days before you did (11th March)

Biometrics was given on 15th March.

Medical request letter hasn't been sent yet. But eligibility review started on 29th March.

I've gotten three ghost updates since then, but it's difficult to tell if they are pointers or just mere glitches.

Wow! This is new. I didn't know something like this can happen. It goes against their statement that normal processing time is applicable to non-NSE applicants.

It is well.

You can ask first bank to send the bank statements to them with a letter that they do not have MBS facility. They may send via email to Nairobi, but with a letter from the bank indicating why they have opted for that option.

(Your refusal came pretty fast though... fast enough for you to reapply and hope that you meet the resumption date).

Yes I submitted paper bank statement and also submitted IELTS in the second application
Paperbank statement alone will not suffice. MBS ticket is imperative. But since they didn't send NSE request, all you can do is keep waiting.
