We have this man and Cardozo olodo is the CBN governor ![]() |
We need more economist to mann the nations monetary policies, bankers are not good policy makers all they know is profit . PBAT gov is bound to fail with this avoidable administrative and appointment errors. He should put round pegs in the round holes for once ![]() |
This is bad for the economy hence the reason for the inflation. The fiat currency supply outweigh our production output as a country. The CBN should recall the money by increasing the interest rates and stop further printing of Naira. |
Biglittlelois:That's why no man wants to marry you, you are only good for fvcking ![]() |
We need the likes of Oshiomole as the president or Senate president ![]() |
Favourchris:It's obvious that you lack financial education, and basic economics USD can't reach 2k. Did you even know the Naira value is relative to the price of crude. One of the major reasons that contributed to the fall of Naira is the recent rise in the price of crude because Nigeria FX is spent more on fuel importation, like I said earlier if the refineries come up which is likely to happen the USD won't trade above the benchmark of 1k. And if you bought the Naira @1,800 you are one of the collateral damage in the war against USD. Bookmark this |
It's a known fact it would go down temporarily the FG has it way of subsidizing the USD which is not helping but if the Nigeria refineries can start functioning before the end of this year USD might trade between 750-900.I pity those who bought at 1,800 hoping for the USD to rich 2k + they were just a collateral damage of the war between Naira and USD. |
SpecialAdviser:The unneeded war that coward Ojukwu started, Ojukwu only sacrificed the 3 M !gbo for a country that only exists in imagination. ![]() |
One of the factors that will stabilize the Naira, Nigeria will be better no pain no gain ![]() |
A woman who argues at every slight misunderstanding should be a red flag for every prudent men because they are hot tempered and can their temper can push them to do the unthinkable like this woman but most men ignore this red flag during courtship and end up like this comrade . Learn to stay away from any woman that nags ![]() |
AqualinaXYZ:The bitter truth is that you will end up biting your finger in regrets, it's evident that the Naira is coming back to the range of 8,00-1,000 because the FG is about pomping 10 B USD to the FX market for more liquidity which will trigger panic selling because there would be more USD and simple economics have it that the more the liquidity the less the buy pressure and the cheaper the price. Did you know that the price of crude is relative to Naira (when crude rise Naira drops and when crude drops Naira gains ) crude was on the bullish run since the beginning of the year and due to seasonal factors the price of crude drops around match - April and crude has started its bearish run from 83 going towards 80 as we speak. And as for the BTC you are holding BTC is likely to fall around June. Build your castle in the air with a firm foundation ![]() |
owunabastard:Here is how I arrived at my conclusion. 1The Naira value is relative to the price of crude (if crude is up the Naira is down and if crude is down the Naira gains) because our economy is based on crude importation, and the crude is going back to previous range of 70-73. It's already on bearish run from 83 to 81 as we speak 2. FG introduction of 10 B $ and suspension of crypto trading will ease the pressure on the Naira 3 Most of the Nigerian refineries will be fully operational towards the 3rd quarter of the year. Which will eventually ease the needs for fuel importation. 4. The CBN is likely to cap the Naira rate at a fixed price. Finally the Naira Will trade around 800-900 |
kay29000:It's still a loss for those who bought @1,800 |
Duelee:The coffee is no longer hot it's becoming cold man, USD won't trade up to 1,800 this year again. If you bought it @, 1,800 accept your loss and move on ![]() |
You left your well-to-do man 4 a year and you expect no replacement. It's either you accept her as a second wife or breakup finally with your man. I guess the second lady is already pregnant for your man. Learn to fix things with your partner without separation because any separation will create loop holes 🕳️ in the relationship. |
The Naira USD is a case of tulips in the 1880s I only pity those who bought @1,809 hoping for 2000-2,500. Watch out for massive drop to 1,000 within the next few weeks. The Naira will end up trading between 8,00 -8,50 in the short term of 1 year. PBAT and CBN are the real speculators, the 10 billion USD intervention and crypto trading suspension is to create panic selling FoMO (Fear of Missing Out) ![]() |
Kpekus is a threat to Man existence if not for Hagai kpekus there wouldn't be anything like Hamas and other other jihadist. This month marks a year of my kpekus break ![]() |
1 Employment (trading crypto assets is a means of employment and most crypto exchange employs more citizens to manage their platforms) 2 It attracts foreign investment (if the nation crypto markets is growing it can attracts foreign investors like Coin desk, and other notable firms). 3 High inflow of FX (The more crypto assets we hold the more the inflow of FX) 4 High liquidity of funds for loan through DeFi loans ( you can obtain loan on DeFi platforms with no third party and less interest) 5 Block chain solution can be used to fix some of the nations problem (supply chain, insecurity, distribution of palliatives, elections, e.t.c) 6 It will ease the pressure on foreign currency, Nigerians holding crypto assets can pay their trade partners in crypto instead of looking for scarce USD. Banning crypto platforms has no effect on stoping the Naira from a free fall, PMB did the same and all efforts were frutai. The only way to save the economy is to diversify the economy, fix insecurity, electricity, reduce VAT and increase import duties to encourage local production then give tax incentives in the short term to encourage foreign investors. Crypto has no negative effect on economy, it's only clueless government who sees crypto has a threat |
Chrisrare:Mr real man marriage is not a pity party it's a logical and a spiritual institution. Stop being carried away by emotions, man up ![]() |
MrCamron:More wisdom bro, the FG is breeding the environment that gives room to speculators. Swapping currency with our trading partners is enough to stabilize the FX, and fixing our electricity will encourage more production and reduce our unemployment rate |
When it was banned guys dey trade even the AGF Malami traded , the ban will do more harm to Nigeria economy if PMB had not bann the crypto trading Nigeria wouldn't be in this mess because their would be more FX liquidity in the Nigerian crypto market which will indirectly allow inflow of FX into the nation. The root cause of this FX crisis is high debt profile of Nigeria, educational tourism abroad and not diversifying the economy, Nigeria has a lot of potential in earning in tech, education l, health, agriculture and tourism. For the short term gl. 1 PBAT should suspend the activities of BDC 2 Start trading with our major market (China) in their local currency RMB, and lets all our buyers from abroad trade with us in Naira. 3 Stop medical tourism and unnecessary travel by government officials. 4 Suspend all food exportation for at least 6 months 5 Invite foreign investors by giving tax incentives 6 Reduce VAT and increase import duties to discourage importation and encourage local production ![]() In the Long run 1 fix electricity by given loans to individual or businesses to install solar powers 2 Invest heavily in agriculture, education, health and build tech hubs in major places like Aba, Ikeja , Kano and Ibadan. 3 Join BRICS 4 Full privatization of refineries |

The worse of PBAT is the best of Ob! and At!ku if USD in PBAT gov is 2,000. It would be 5k in A!ku or Ob! gov ![]() |
How I wish Nigerians can hold their governors accountable but politics of bitterness won't let this happen . 98% of Nigerian governors are lazy & clueless, only if PBAT can stop FAAC and allow each states to manage it resources and cater for itself and watch how some states collapse in a few months. |
AqualinaXYZ:If not for economy saboteurs and sore losers your type won't have mouth to say this. One thing is sure the enemy of Nigeria will be put to shame before the 2nd quarter of this year. This too shall pass, you & your types can say what you like for now. No pain No hain ![]() |
The only way to save Naira in the short term is to convert all the dom account to Naira, the CBN should stop printing Naira for now, and lets our buyers pay us in Naira instead of the USD, then trade with some of our largest suppliers e.g. Chinese in their local currency RMB. But it will be difficult for the government to implement the measure of converting Dom account to Naira because the big boys will be affected. Doing this will make all the speculators to trade off their USD for Naira while their be excess liquidity of USD in the market which will naturally crash the USD. And in the long term Nigeria should diversify its economy and through tourism, tech, education, health and agriculture by investing heavily on them. |
omoadeleye:It can only reach 2,500 if crude makes a bullish run to 90+USD bpd and which is unlikely to happen. The price of crude 🛢️ is the major factor that is affecting Naira. All the surge in USD against Naira is because of crude oil bullish run. |
Agbegbaorogboye:GEJ wasn't a saint either but PMB administration is the most corrupt since independent. PBAT himself knew that he is in trouble. In all fairness Emefiele and PMB should be tried for looting. The only saving grace Nigeria might have for the short term is when at least two of our refineries come on board and the price of crude oil falls which is likely to happen in the first quarter. |
lexy2014:If you follow the story you won't be saying talking like a woman rapper ![]() |
PMB administration has crumbled the economy, PBAT did not meet anything on ground but he was ashamed to reveal PMB woes because he was the one who brought him there. Obaseki cried out on this in 2020 but no one listens because of politics, If it's other party that won the election Nigerians would be amazed to know that PMB is worse than Abacha in looting. PBAT had no option hence he had to remove the subsidy and float the Naira else Naira would have been 3,500 by now. No country economy can sustain printing such amount of money that is more than the available good & services. Nigeria is still standing by miracle, God truly love this country and I for see USD trading at 1k before the end of 1st quarter of this year because the price of crude oil is expected to drop to 70-73 USD bpd next month. The unexpected bullish run in crude is one of the major reasons why the Naira is falling against the USD |
