SoNature:
This is the conversation we should be having now. Scrap either the senate or house of reps and use the money to pay workers. We don't need two expensive houses whose functions are largely the same.
That won't still make Nigeria work did you know that no fraud can be done without the aid of government workers. Government workers are more corrupt than the politicians nah perm sec dey loot most cool

Business › Re: Naira Depreciation: USD Supply Drops By 42% At FOREX Market Despite Binance Exit by spiSeyi: 11:18am On Mar 07, 2024
The rise of Naira is artificial the current CBN governor is the worst among the CBN governors since 1958 grin
He claimed that Binance is the problem and he is trying hard to defend his lies by subsidizing the USD from the back door. While EFCC already made it known that banks are part of 75% fraud in the country. CBN claimed to pump FX in banks and common Nigerians can't withdraw or buy FX in the banking all (where are those FX going huh) . People can no longer get Naira at the ATM unless they buy it from POS operators and Naira racketers. If care is not taking the current CBN will crash the Nigerian economy bcs he has always use every opportunity to proof his cluelessness. The commercial banks selling FX to BDC and Naira to POS operators are the real criminals and cancer to our economy and not Binance. angry

Business › Re: Binance to stop Naira Services Amid Crackdown On Crypto Exchanges by spiSeyi: 6:12pm On Mar 05, 2024
CBN is chasing rats while the house is burning grin . The CBN chairman is as corrupt as Emefiele else he would have jailed the bank MDs because they are the root cause of all this. Trading crypto is just like trading other assets like Gold, crude oil and even comondities like food items. If going by this let CBN arrest all the market men and women.
Banks buy USD at an official rate then sell to BDC, while would Nigerians not able to buy FX in the banking hall despite the Billions of USD the CBN claim to sell to them undecided
And as for the speculators the CBN & the FG played into their hands by floating the Naira when the excess money in the circulation has not been cleared and when the BDC have not been regulated. This CBN governor if not properly checked will be the worst thing that might happen to Nigeria economy angry

Earthquakes:
I will pick one point from the endless garbage you mentioned, you keep repeating CBN this and that yet I didn’t see where you mentioned grants for production, machinery, farming equipments and security for farmers and SMEs.
Then fuel importation fallen by 40% is what you celebrate as success grin
So people unable to buy fuel for cars and Gen is now success story, fuel importation did not reduce because of refineries are working but because people are unable to buy and you call it improvement??
Daftness is that you?
And for your information I know you have nothing to do with dollar, I changed cad yesterday to 1,140, today it is 1,170 to cad but you feel it’s coming on your paper mind, lol
The funniest thing is that those who have not seen a bill of USD this year dey carry this matter 4 head. Just because your candidate didn't win the election won't make the economy fall. Either you like it or not you will live to see Nigeria great again in PBAT time and beyondgrin

Politics › Re: Nigeria Needs Restructuring With Proper Foundation — Tinubu by spiSeyi:
PBAT is up to something underneath that will shock the North grin ,you can be enjoying the tax from what you called haram wink . I know that PBAT will restructure Nigeria because he is the only that has the iron balls to do what Yaradua, GEJ and PMB couldn't do for years even OBJ (Nigeria might have been better than this if the fuel subsidy was removed when we have no or little debt and during the early 2000s oil boom), each states will manage its resources, Oronsaye report will be implemented and that will affect unproductive workers so be prepared for NLC jamboree grin.
Nigeria won't go back to regionalism this time around, and this restructuring will shake more governors. Lots of unproductive states will have no choice than to merge.
May God grant PBAT the will to carry on cool

lies

This fake cosmetic approach won't even last this month

We are not a producing Country
Is UAE a producing country, apart from crude wetin dem dey produce undecided , you might hate the PBAT government but I can tell you that things will be better starting from the second quarter because major refineries will come on board. And most west African countries are beginning to show interest in our refined products which will earn us more USD.

Economy of wish, if you were ask to provide data to back up your assertion you will disappear.
Can you mention just one thing that made you feel the dollar will go down? None obviously apart from tribal wishes hoping that things work without any prospect
Here are what you requested for,
1 The CBN sold off about 1.64 trillion TBs within a few days after the open market last week.
2 The CBN is expected to inject 10 Billion USD to the FX
3 Out of about 8 billion USD backlogs the CBN have cleared it up and its remains about $2.5 B, the backlogs are the major factors that made the Naira almost illiquid which was responsible for the initial fall.
4 The price of crude is falling as we speak because high cost of crude is a factor to the Naira fall. And crude is
expected to fall further in March due to weather factors.
5 The Nigerian fuel importation has reduced by 40% as we speak and fuel importation is one of the stuffs that is draining the FX reserves
6 further more 2 major refineries will start selling refined crude starting from the 2nd quarter.
Mr man count your teeth with your tongue, though it's tough as we speak but this too shall pass by the grace of God cool

The USD will hover around 700-800 Naira before the end of the year, then from there let's where we go as a nation cool . I only pity those who bought @1800, the best bet for them is to sell now because Naira will trade @ 1,300 on or before the end of the first quarter
Business › Re: Ghana’s Central Bank Suspends FX Licenses Of GT Bank And First Bank by spiSeyi: 1:51pm On Mar 05, 2024
A serious country that is intentional about its economic stability, the CBN here in Nigeria is busy chasing rats (crypto exchanges and BDC) while the house is burning.
If CBN is serious and mean to stabilize the Naira most bank MDs will be in jail as we speak. What's the esense of pumping FX to banks that common Nigerians can buy USD in the Nigerian banking hall undecided . CBN should stop selling USD to banks and regulate the BDC so that they can take full charge of selling & buying the USD
Politics › Re: We Now Rely On War-torn Ukraine For Food - Peter Obi by spiSeyi: 3:18pm On Mar 04, 2024
Impliment:
The most crucial problem with farming in Nigeria is insecurity( Farmers and herders) and we have only one commander in Chief in Nigeria. Tinubu should provide security to enable our farmer to enable them to back to farm.
If state government are up to the task local vigilante & hunters will handle this. But most local hunters and vigilantes are not encouraged by the state governments
Politics › Re: We Now Rely On War-torn Ukraine For Food - Peter Obi by spiSeyi: 2:03pm On Mar 04, 2024
In all honesty this blames should be allotted to clueless state Governors, Farming is local if the state Governors are up to their tasks food production shouldn't be a problem in Nigeria. What stop state governments from venturing into commercial farming and massive empowerment of local farmers undecided .
Agriculture is managed by each metropolis in Ukraine.
Nigerian governors are only good at commissioning substandard roads and wasting public funds on needless elephant projects like airports. The only thing I will blame PBAT for is if he didn't restructure Nigeria by letting each states manage its resources then we will all see how lazy most of the Governors are angry
Politics › Re: Don’t Sabotage Tinubu’s Efforts In Fixing Economy - Oyintiloye Tells Governors by spiSeyi: 8:30am On Mar 04, 2024
Either PBAT or anyone at the Federal level can't make things work without functioning governors, truth be told 98% of the governors in Nigeria are lazy and clueless.
E.g. a state like Oyo state shouldn't have experience food crisis with its aerable land mass but Seyi Makinde is clueless all he does are substandard road construction and selling off government lands for real estate investors instead of farming angry gone are those days that Oyo state used to take the lead in food production.
It's high time that Nigeria is restructured and FAAC is stoped let every state develop itself and manage its resources so that everyone can hold their governors responsible.
State Governors have been collecting almost 3x their FAAC but nothing to show for it undecided . Local government that should mane the farming sector has been render useless under the clueless and selfish Governors. It's high time Nigerians started calling out and shaming their Governors and not just the FG angry
Properties › Re: Hardship: 4 Ways To Build Houses Without Or With Little Cement by spiSeyi: 3:53pm On Mar 02, 2024
Bricks 🧱 house is better and stronger than concrete houses, and wooden houses last longer than concrete ones after all most European countries and the USA houses were made of woods and they are still standing for 100 of years especially houses in London.
I prefer building my home with either bricks or wood even if cement is sold for 50 Naira.
Something is telling that the dominance of cement biz in the real estate is about to end, if Nigerians find bricks and woods as alternative then BUA and Dangote should forget about their cement biz grin. Nice one op smiley

Eguavon should do better this time around after all he went to the 2021 AFCON with the 2nd team of SE without the likes of Ekong and Oshimhen and he won all his games in the group stage b4 luck was against him against Tunisia.

Business › Re: CBN Revokes Operational Licenses Of 4,173 Bdcs by spiSeyi: 7:04pm On Mar 01, 2024
The CBN is just dancing around the circle they should take the bold step and correct their initial mistake by pegging the Naira instead of floating it when too much had been printed which was responsible for the hyper inflation.
Chasing BDC & crypto exchange is just an effort in frutility to save the Naira grin
Business › Re: We Have No Intention Of Paying Fines To Nigerian Government - Binance by spiSeyi: 6:54pm On Mar 01, 2024
FG wanted to call a dog (Binance)a bad name to hang it grin FG wan use Binance raise the $10 B the CBN promised to inject to the FX. If FG is sincere enough BDC and those selling FX to BDC at CBN should be jailed and fined.
Binance is just a market place for crypto assets and buying the crypto is just like buying other comondities, if the FG goes by this logic of seeing Binance as the root cause of Nigeria economy woes then market men & women that are selling food items should be jailed undecided.
CBN has become clueless under the APC government and has lose total control of the monetary aspect of the economy undecided

Politics › Re: Tinubu Launches Expatriate Employment Levy (EEL) by spiSeyi: 9:35am On Feb 28, 2024
PBAT is frustrating the likes of Dangote who prefers to hire Indians as experterat than Nigerians and most tech companies who love foreign tech guys grin . The truth is we have talented Nigerians who can do better or the same thing but black man inferiority complexity and not wanting fellow blacks to grow is why most of this big biz prefers foreign experterat angry .
I have worked with a good numbers of tech companies and I can tell you that this is one of the overlooked act that is draining our FOREX because these foreign guys are paid in hard currency, Indian tech guys are paid 10k USD why we that does most of the job are paid 100k Naira where I worked.
If this is well implemented unemployment rate will reduce, and the tax should be 30% of the gross pay
