duni04:As if you are more intelligent or successful than the Oyibos. You should respect the fact that foreigners are triggered to come from all over the world to Nigeria to attend SCOAN services. Or do you think they don't know that RCCG, MFM, Winners, and others exist in Nigeria? You had better wake up and watch your lousy comments. |

I've been waiting to share my own good news on this thread. I must really thank everyone that has contributed to this thread because one way or the other you have all contributed to the smooth ride my wife had to the US. She landed safely in Atlanta concluded the POE interview in 3mins, took a connecting flight to Dallas and she's now at home dancing Skelewu ![]() The destination is Dallas and the airline is Delta. Our choice of route was influenced by the following factors: 1.) I don't want my wife to have a lengthy stopover in Europe or UAE only to embark on a super-lengthy journey to Dallas just in the name of avoiding POE horror story . That would have been too much for a 34wks preggy. Journey duration is LOS-ATL (13hr15mins), stopover time in ATL (2hrs), ATL-DFW (2hr29mins)2.) We chose the lesser of two evil, the Atlanta POE (dropped Houston POE like bad habit) and knowing well that we are harmed with information from this thread 3.) Delta did a promo and we were able to get a ticket to Dallas enroute Atlanta for N208,200 4.) We found a very good accommodation, feeding and transportation package in Dallas close to our Aunt's place in Arlington. With airport pickup inclusive Wify left Lagos 10.15pm ontime on 26th Dec. and landed safely in Atlanta at 5.32am local time on the 27th December, 2014 Just for the records, the POE interview goes thus after an officer came to pull my wife and another preggy out of the line to a fasttrack desk.....: The POE interviewing officer is a woman. Wife: Good morning (with a smile) PO: Good morning, can i have your passport please Wife: Here it is.... (wife handed the passport over to the PO with the boarding-pass tucked inside, inadvertently) PO: What are you here for? Wife: I'm here for vacation and to have my baby PO: Oh...Oh, i can see you're still heading to Dallas Wife: Yes, please PO: Do you have a Doctors correspondence with you Wife: Yes please... can i bring it out? PO: No, don't worry.....; How much do you have on you? Wife: I have $9,510 on me (and she was about to bring it out from her handbag) PO: Ohhh nooo! Don't do that here, we don't count cash in this place.... Don't worry Wife: Oh, i'm so sorry PO: Where is your husband? Wife: He's back home in Lagos Nigeria PO: Why is he not here with you Wife: We planned that he will join me shortly before my EDD PO: Oh, that's fine..... What does he do for a living? (she was busy typing and asked my wife to put her fingers on the scanner) Wife: He's is a so-so-so PO: Oh ok PO: How long do you plan to stay here in the US? Wife: I'm staying for 64days,... about 2 months and 1 week PO: That's fine (As she stamped her passport for 6 months) Wife: Collected her passport back with a ...."Thank you very much" (and a big smile) PO: Bye bye, have a safe delivery... My wife passed through the exit with no call for Secondary inspection or whatsoever and went to the baggage claim section jubilating in her heart for the Christmas favour from God .Didn't take her long to collect her bag, pick an airport shuttle to the Domestic terminal, catch the connecting flight to Dallas right on time and she's now sleeping at home in Arlington, Dallas. |

Mrsfad2014:@Mrsfad2014 Do you have a breakdown of the hospital fee of $3,000, the fee quote for CS (both Doctor and Hospital) and other charges that are not disclosed here. My wife is also heading to Dallas in late December. Also, kindly share Dr. Abbass email address if you have it. Is he a Nigeria? |
Megaphone: I was talking to a ceo of a huge advertising agency on the island, and i told him i do not believe linda bought that car for 24b million naira in cash. How come she makes so much money? I told him about a site called nairaland and he laughed. He said his agency had patronized linda to te tune of about 5m in cash, and he hasn't even bought any space on nairaland. i asked why.. He gave me about four reasons reasons.....The fact that Seun is not a noisemaker like Linda doesn't mean she earns more money than her. Even some of us have bigger toys than Linda but we chose not to be a noisemaker. It is better to be discovered by Forbes than to overrate yourself cos you will be disappointed when you know that you didn't make the Forbes List. |
OwerriChairman: I just confirmed from an eye witness there. Nobody died, just casualties. And the building is even under contruction,,, Nobody died please,,, And the casualties are just the workers alone. PLS BE INFORMED !!! ..... Thanks be to God, there was no death recorded.GOD BLESS YOU FOR SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT. I ALSO HEARD THE NEWS ON RADIO AT 5.00PM TODAY. There are three casualties though and speculations have it that they are construction workers on site as at the time of the incident. Brethren, let's confirm our stories before spreading rumors |

Qc1: Are you saying you will dash out hstd earned N150k just like that? I don't care what they eventually see or not see. It's what I tell them it is!Oga Brabus and QC1, What is the update on this project? Has it been completed? |
makonko: Some people are going for induction tomorrow right?I heard it's been shifted by one week to 12th Jan, 2014. |
divinelove: A bed at hand is more than two in d bush, wat if d cop deal is extended to ending march, wat if it fails. I tot oando shld ve reached 30 by nw instead its going down. D stock is hugely driven by sentiments. D next two weeks ll really decide where oando is goingIt peaked at #29.46 on Friday and maintained that level at full bid for about 3hrs before profit takers swung into action 1 hour to market close. |
divinelove: Anybody buying oando nw must b buyin high, oando ll fall wella again only to appreciate after d cop deal if dt goes thro. Am waiting for oando below 20 naira by mid january. If u bought below 15 offload and enter again at cheap price, n stop lookin at paper profit fall apart, greedy traders r usually losers in d marketBy February, those selling off will discover that they're the losers. They may end up buying back at #40 or even #50. The COP's deal which is technically a done deal will be sealed end of January and this will see Oando becoming the largest indigenous oil firm in Nigeria. It currently has an EPS of around 7 which makes it a good bargain at current prices below #40. If you know what's good for you in the New Year 2014 or you're looking for an easy means to amass wealth this year - buy Oando as part of your wealth strategies |
What's the update on this? |

Finetalk: @Longbush, my contact said that what is considered is the years of experience.@Finetalk, please do you have any information on the CBN pay structure? This is equally as important as the offer level. |
TYTAN: As per going for studies, you can buy Personal Travel Allowance(PTA) $4000 per quarter around N163 per dollar. For school fees you can bid for the total amount of your school fees from CBN through your bank which is currently @ N155.71 per dollar and 1% commision then like N0.50k Bank charges total should be around N158.26 per dollar with proper document like admission letter , school stuffs etc.Tell us your experience if you have bidded on this platform before and you got the dollars. I believe that this process is a fluke and does not apply in reality. |
xandy84: I want to believe you mean 600k not 6miliioon for dis house wey dey inside bush..I think it was a mistake on your part.. Happy sale bro but a buyer 4 tat price must be high on local gin man.. No offense man.Seems you're the real person deluded bro. You are cut off from reality and have no judgement of value. Also, i'm very sure you don't have a property or plan to own one. You're low on foreign liquor!!! No offense man. |
eluquenson: What time in Lagos will it happen?12.50pm - 4.01pm in Lagos |

gratieao: This is parts of development in Lagos state @ least from your myopic point of vew. It's obvious you're the real myopic brat if you can take the binoculars of your eyes faraway from the developments going on in the Lagos metropolis into the issues in the suburbs of Lagos like Sango, Aiyetoro, Igando, etc. Even these areas have witnessed huge developments under the administration of BRF (adjust your binoculars to see the LASU-IGANDO expressway passing thru Igando town). Those bridges you're referring to are synonymous to PPP projects (though packaged in crude way) - they are part of developments going on in those areas since it solves the problems of those people living there. If you're truly an exposed person, you'll agree with me that the infrastructural developments in Lagos State is intimidating and dwarfs similar FG projects. Adjust your binoculars and see below. Guess where it is (CLUE: It's not New York City) BUSH MAN!http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/lekki-ikoyi-bridge-a-monument-for-posterity/149272/ https://www.nairaland.com/566335/new-lekki-bridge-picture

mekaboy: For me, obiano has something upstairs.Take a look at the letter below and stop talking trash about the "upstairs" of a con man! Just note that if ANAMBRARIANS fails to take the decision of going the pathway of development and vote an APC government come November, they have only chosen to set their growth and development aback by another 4 YEARS!!! At least, you know what APC stands for, and the PEER-TO-PEER Review mechanism within the party which ensures that each of the states under their umbrella moves with the wave of development - see Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Edo, etc as a good example. THE CHOICE IS YOURS! THE BENEFIT IS ABSOLUTELY YOURS!! VOTE WISELY!!! GOOGLE: "APGA Exposed: Obiano Signs Secret Document…Umeh To Be Paid in Billions If Obiano Wins"
