femsoj: It was just a 2mins interview and all what the black angel asked me was where I did my NYSC, I told her that I served in Nigerian breweries plc. Her respond was " WHAO, that is a nice place to serve, how were you posted to that company?" I told her that I did my IT with them and that it was one of my boss back then when I was doing my IT that assisted me to serve there. She also asked me the reason why I was not retain in NB plc and I told her that I worked with them for extra 5months after my NYSC but A̷̷̴̐͠ memo later came out that they should stop retaining corpers. That was all. She congratulated me and gave me the white envelope of where to collect my visa. @ Seye,congrat bro, because the white lady at window 16 really denied many people today. @ everyone, prayer is the key,the lord we serve is A̷̷̴̐͠ living God. I love u all

DSP-122 and DS 230 Part I was to be sent signed but Part II you were not supposed to sign until your interview date that is when you are asked to sign before the consular officer.

Interview xperience:

I arrived at the embassy exactly 6:45am. The security personnel called us to form a cue which I was in front of that cue.

The firs five people including were called to enter after the check ups had been done.

I got there and was directed to take a seat by this beautiful ghanaian lady who then collected my appointment letter..........
To be more concise, this is what actually happend at window 5.

Me: gud morning

Co: what kind of marketing
Me: said to myself eish it falls under skull of business and cuts across board.

you will always be on the look out for the US Visa Bulletin once you get current, you start checking your status just the same way you checked if you had won. So keep your confirmation number without it you will never know about your interview.

At the age of 15 here in Kenya one is either in her/his first year in secondary or second year in secondary. The earliest that one can live secondary here is 17yr which i did coz i was skipped one class i was sharp ooooo but if it is true that you left secondary at 15yrs then dont worry. Maybe she couldnt understand how just like me but if this is how you study there in Naija, it is quite cool dont worry, It shall be ok in a few weeks.

How would I had known the nature of the interview( the questions asked) if not from the members of this forum?
Finally, how could I had met such a wonderful person like you that is filled with love, compassion and interest to always help others if not on this forum?
There are many other winners in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and other countries who are not even aware of a forum like this. But I was made to be a member, upon all my disobedience, my sinfullness, my atrocities, God still sent som1(chirpwest) to introduce me to this wonderful forum. I thank God and want Him to know that my heart is filled with gratitude for what He has done and what He is yet to do. Got to the embassy @ Cantonments around 6.40am. Passed through the security gate and got seated around 7.15am. Made payment, presented my documents and went for finger print and waited for my name to be called. So i was called to window 4 for my interview.
ME: Raised my right hand and swore to speak the truth and signed the ds form originally sent to kcc
CO: Did you pay in cash?
ME: Yes
CO: did u pay in dollars or in Ghana cedis?
ME: Ghana cedis
CO: Were u given change?
ME: No, paid the exact amount (660.00 cedis)
Co: are u married
Me: no
co: have u ever been married
me: no

co: where did u go after sss

co: are u sure u graduated?
me: yes i did

i saw this nice young white lady picking a piece of blue sheet and my heart was full of joy. she then said am giving you this visa ticket to come back here on Friday for the visa. HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!she congratulated me and i responded thank you.
i joyfully vanished from that place to avoid her saying get back for another question. hahaha
Fellow mates i must confess that there is no secrete than prayers through the name JESUS. present the right documents needed and be very sincere. that is it. GOD will handle the rest
i even made some mistakes in the online registration like the day and month of birth, and my place of birth as well. but was never asked anything about it though i was ready to speak the truth cos the correction was made on the ds form sent to kcc.....The GREAT GOD i serve is wonderful...

I therefore witnessed no one being denied of DV visa except one guy i met. The reason being that the picture he used for the original registration online is different from his real face........ serious...... hhhmmmm

I had my interview dis morning, its interesting because dis forum has been soo much of help to me ive read thru peoples interview and prepared enough for dis but i was surprised after payin my visa fee to d cashier and waited for about 40mins i was called to window 6 where a white gentle man interviewed me but u wouldnt believe dis he didnt ask me any question, all he said was come dis date for ur visa and i answered thank u.

i ve learnt sumtin today guys if u knw u meet d requirement jst prove it with d needed documents don't go with soo many documents because it sumtimes pop soo many question.Thanx to God n every1

They move according to the visas given out that month per country, i guess. You are from Ghana so you are likely to be currentin the next bulletin. Your interview will be in April

About providing accommodation, giving work to you is a total lie please the person who told you this LIED. Being a permanent resident is a “privilege” and not a “right.” You will look for accommodation on your own that is why you need someone to hold your hand during the first time. Ask yourself what is it that you have, that will be make the American pick you from the 7 million people who applied for the 2013 DV, give you a Visa, accommodate you and give you work? They have homeless people that they can accommodate and give jobs. Please this is a “privilege” Take it and make good use of it. Try your best and organise yourself before the BIG day we want to hear your positive testimony.

At the right corner next to Help, there is a symbol of a printer let him click there and print otherwise what he did is copy and pasted on word then he printed this cant print the logo at all. And if you have a memory card just save the page and go print with an expert. The american logo can not be copied and printed it is printed direct from the source.

Gentiger: My dear brother, I saw your mail and I responded. This is definitely not how to go about it. You can't trust any contact given to you on this forum. There are many illegal residents in the State who would readily drop off their address to have your green card mailed to them. Beware of open solicitations. Do what I recommended in my mail to you. It must be someone you know or have met in person. Go through godly friends, church/mosque members or classmates who are now settled in the US. If your effort yields nothing - it should yield something- then let me know. But heed my warning, do not accept an address location from an individual you have never met in person. Goodluck dear.

About you not having anyone in USA is that there are High chances that you will be denied visa because they may fear of you becoming a public charge. Kindly ask help from your fellow Naijas to give you an address, where exactly are you planning to go in US and how will you start from scratch if u have no one to receive you? Please brothers in US help this fellow i beg of you.

STOP worrying yourself about the dependent thing, you are ok and good to go
