OkpaNsukkaisBae: U shld pick a side bro. Are u arguing abt Jordan & Palenstine or Palenstine & Israel. Israel is Israel the same way Jordan is Jordan. So why aren't the Palestinians dragging land with Jordan? In fact Jordan once annexed West Bank and East Jerusalem in 1947 but Israel got it back in 1967. Jordan surrendered in 1988. You see, your problem is lack of knowledge of history. That is why having a conversation is difficult. |

Melvyn11: This is how I understand this Israel and Palestine land stuff from what have seen online.
Let's use Ondo and Yoruba to depict Israel and Jews. Let's say Ondo is a Yoruba state that was conquered by Hausa. Hausa began ruling and staying in Ondo after conquering it driving the Yoruba people to all over Nigeria. After few years the Hausa empire in Ondo fell and Igbo(Britain) took over. Igbo now decided to call back the Yoruba people displaced all over Nigeria back to Ondo state. Hausa people(Palestine) were already settled there. Yoruba people displaced from Ondo now came back and Igbo (Britain) now said we will divide the state into 2 for peace to reign. Hausa take one half while Yoruba take the other but Hausa refused and started waging war against the Yorubas. Imagine that you leave this planet and return back in 500years time only to discover that American Christians now live in Mecca and Medina because Arab Muslims have been scattered all over the world. Then when the Arab Muslims decide to return especially because of their holy land- Mecca and Medina, the American Christians start calling them land grabbers and claiming they are Meccans because they were born there and they have a church cathedral there. 😂. |

You will also have to explain how the Hashemites who are Arabians became kings in Jordan. Same Jordan that was part of British Mandate of Palestine. I thank Afrodoc2 for this one. |

In my secondary school yearset alone we have almost 10 people who are now claiming to be Pastors Bishops apostles etc and one common thing with most of them was that they failed to secure admission into University so they found this as an alternate means to survive
Do you really think that Bishop or Apostle in that uncompleted building close to your house was ordained by any authority? The truth is Christianity as a religion is too liberal especially in this modern times. Anyone as in anyone can easily name himself Bishop. |

Dennisbulkan: Because if they do, by allowing them run away from their home to another country as refugees that would be the last time they see their home as Israeli land grabbers would not allow them return just like they did Nakba. I recommend you read about Nakba if you're genuinely interested & appreciate history & facts. The best way to keep Israel's hands off Gaza now is to not allow exodus of refugees out of gaza. It's bad but they have to sit it out if they want to keep Gaza. That fact that you lack basic history makes conversation difficult. By the way the question of Israel Vs Palestine is not about Gaza or West Bank but about Jerusalem. The Arabs want the Palestinians to remain in order to keep the question of Jerusalem open for debate. |

Ellexy: Hamas is fighting for the Palestinians and you support them. When they attacked Israeli civilians you didn't post any of this islam against extremism, you were busy praying and standing with them. You only started with your articles about humanity when Isreal decided to defend itself and fight back. Ask yourself why doesn't Jordan allow Palestinians into their country? Same with Egypt. Same with Saudi Arabia. Lebanon that tried it are regretting it. The so called Palestinians (fake identity) are all dissidents Arabs from accross the Muslim Arab world who have been placed there simply to terrorise Israel and make sure Jerusalem doesn't come under their control. So from time to time they ask them to attack Israel so that the crisis will always remain fresh. Yassa Arafat said so that there's nothing as the People of Palestine or state of Palestine. They are only there to terrorise Israel. |

Actually, I'm was preparing for a promotional exam(that was early last month) so I decided to take a little time off then I'll be back but unfortunately I fell seriously ill soon after. It was severe that I had to be admitted for weeks in the hospital reason I had this prolonged absence. I thank God for life and recovery (just got discharged last week Wednesday).
I know say I missed a lot of things sha(first two UCL matches, Havertz first goal, NLD derby and Man city win). Though I was grateful to watch the full replay of our win against Man city and I enjoyed every bit of it.
Good to be back here once again and I'm really thankful to you all (I can't emphasize this enough)

afrodoc2: I don’t understand your question. And in what way do they not fall into the group that can use that name? Like I said there were many non-Jewish people in the area that we now call Palestine; Arabs, Samaritans, Edomites (Idumeans), Arameans, Phoenicians, etc
If we are to go by historical claim (which is not going to happen anyway) the Jews do not have a claim to the whole of modern day Israel. The better way to do it is to share the land since both groups are already there now, but instead both groups appear to prefer to eliminate the other group from the land. The issue is the question of Jerusalem. Who deserves it? Even if you give those Palestinians 99% of the land, they will not accept without Jerusalem. Who should get Jerusalem? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Spy360(m): 9:40pm On Oct 13, 2023 |
afrodoc2: This question requires foolscap sheet to answer. To summarise:
The current Palestinian region (Israel, West Bank, Gaza) is the area of the Kingdoms of Israel, Judah, Edom, and the Philistines in biblical times.
Gaza strip area is where the biblical Philistines lived but that ethnic group vanished a long time ago.
The current Palestinians are a mix of 1) non-Jewish indigenes of the area e.g Edomites, Phoenicians (Lebanese), 2) Arab immigrants into the area, and 3) Jews and Christians who converted to Islam during the over 1,200 years of Islamic rule.
Technically anybody from the region qualifies to be called Palestinian but the Muslim segment has acquired it for themselves while the Jews prefer to be called Israelis anyway. The name itself is a fairly recent invention. I don't understand the bolded. You need a yardstick to identify a people. So if anybody technically can answer Palestine then there is no issue. The words in italics are important because those who claim to be Palestinians today don't fall into this group. |

Israels big mistake was not giving West Bank back to Jordan after the 1967 war
By now they could have been dealing with just Gaza only and can afford to pay each adult Gazan $500k to resettle and each pneighbouring countries $500k for each Gazan they accept. Money stops bullshit 2000years doesn't change history does it? Gazans are not Palestinians. This is the fact I want to point out. |

obainojazz: I wonder how person go find trouble and want pity almost immediately. I read that the people that call themselves Palestines today are actually imposters. The real Palestines are the Jews. Palestine was the name the Romans used to rename the Southern Kingdom of Israel called Judah with capital in Jerusalem. The Romans changed the name in order to break the cultural or religious connection of the Jews to the area. The imposters calling themselves Palestinians today are nomads from surrounding regions like Jordan, Lebanon, etc who were never a state or nation. There was no state in Palestine since before or after the Ottoman empire. Afrodoc2 please confirm. |

raumdeuter: Do you think Hamas will allow them to leave? Anyone who tries to leave is considered to be a saboteur and would likely be shot before they get to the border
Hamas knows the only reason Israel has not wiped them off is because of the civilian population, take away the civilians then I assure you by the end of this month there won't be 100 Hamas alive I agree with you. And I think Israel is actually using it partly as a trap for Hamas to give them a bad reputation in the international media as a confirmed terrorist group. Also Israel really want to end Hamas. Egyptian border is also closed. So much for Arab unity. |

I don't like the killings that are going on. Israel should please apply restraints and adhere to the Geneva Conventions in times of war. Civilians should be protected.
