BlueRayDick: If Arteta starts Lokonga in DM, then we know Arteta is just not ready yet...... He's not ready to learn from his lessons and move on; Lokonga in DM is a recipe for disaster. Experience already taught us that It would be a double pivot with Xhaka. I have a feeling Lokonga would not be the deep lying midfielder. So chill. My boy will score the only goal and win MOTM. |

Jodera: Do you know that Ben White have played as a holding Midfielder before?. Not at arsenal but in his professional career.
The chance wey Arteta give Sambi last season for DM wey make am fail, let him give Ben White too let's see if he'll fail there. At least he has enough quality cover in Tomi unlike last season that the drop off in quality was increased in Rob Holding No problem. I didn't say Lokonga must start. I am only trying to warn you that he is the ONLY ONE TRIED by Arteta. To avoid BP |

BlueRayDick: The problem spy has is that his love for his favorite players usually cloud his judgement and objectivity on some issues. How can anyone say Lokonga should play DM again ?
The moment Lokonga plays DM , just expect Xhaka’s brain fart and double legged lunging tackles to materialize cos the midfield will turn express and Xhaka out of passion will mow any opposition player down. It is not something I am hoping for but what I see as the more obvious action. The other options are not so obvious, like White playing CM etc. These are all possibilities but the most obvious is Lokonga starting today in a double pivot with Xhaka. |

Jodera: The closest we have is never ever Lokonga. Abeg no talk that thing biko
I saw Zinchenko play deep and positionally stopped some attack against Bournemouth. Why i believe he might not be good as a lone 6 but as a pivot he might try cos he's good with buildup from deep too and he's hardly a roamer. White too is another possibility I would love as Tomiyasu can seamlessly play that RB role without any drop in quality and I hope Arteta tries it.
But abeg, no Sambi DM abeg. The way our Midfield go turn expressway again, I can't fit talk. Make we no go dash Aston Villa their first 3point because of am Amongst all listed Lokonga is the only one tried by Arteta |

Jodera: The Zinchenko at DM is just for Emergency against Aston Villa and Man u while we sign a DM. Partey and Elneny just having injury same time have put us in a big dilemma I swear Zinchenko can't play DM he is an 8. The closest to that position now is Lokonga then White. We can only hope White is better there. The good part is that we play Aston Villa first at home so we can try both. But I think White will suit more because of his combined defensive and attacking attributes. |

Sir,this guy was given a chance to IMPRESS against Fulham. Because arteta knows his potential rather he was playing too safe. Go to youtube a d watch all Elneny's play after mitrovic scored . Men I was too pissed. So if God forbid Partey is not available is this how he wants to command the state of play. Go and watch Elneny is last year's preseason, u know this guy has potential reason no cover for Partey.(reason he was given a contract extension) I was expecting him to deliver just half of what Partey does, Elneny doesn't believe in himself. To me , he player rubbish and Zincheko will be a better option Chance to impress? If he tried to impress we would not win that match but concede a late goal. Elneny played to Arteta's instructions and that is what matters. He was instrumental in our dominance in the first have keep the ball in possession. Nobody expects him to be another Partey or to bench him, but at least he gave a decent performance and received praise from his manager. Ratings gave him 7/10. |

Elneny played total rubbish against Fulham. He could even drive the ball forward even just once after we conceded. Yet last season preseason game, he was playing like a possessed midfielder. Arteta should give him a talking or hair dryer. He was the worst player on Saturday. He should go and learn how to move forward. I strongly recommend Zincheko for Partey deputy. I know what this guy can do. Rubbish is a strong word bro. Elneny that Arteta praised? Did you check his rating? |

GreatBoss: Obi fans should know that politics is discussion so let's set these things straight.
Why Atiku Will Win The Presidential Elections.
South West is Tinubu Stronghold
The whole South South is PDP except Cross River that is APC. All South South Governors have come out and say their people should vote Atiku. Okowa, Douye Diri, Wike etc. They will work the normal way for him.
Labour Party controls no state. All state executives will fully work for their parties. APC and PDP have governorship candidates in the whole states.
Even Obi Governor have asked his people to vote Apga and that's not Obi.
Ugwanyi of Enugu is bringing Godson PDP
Uzodinma of Imo is coming with APC
APC and PDP with APGA aim to share Abia votes because of the Governorship election.
Same with Ebonyi.
North East is Atiku Stronghold
Northwest is Fulani controlled area and Fulani will not leave Fulani and vote person they see as Biafra. Reason Tambuwal of Sokoto stepped down for Atiku among others.
North Central will be shared by all.
So where is Obi strong hold with his structureless party? Igbo know nothing about politics..
All those obi fans online noise, is of no use. All candidates have youths and elders too.
That is not structure or stronghold Strong hold is controlling of states executives. The Governors will ask their followers to vote PDP or APC In one room a Governor and his executives and followers will rig voters figure wey pass 3 state population give one man for their parties. Peter Obi have no Governor, Peter Obi have no strong hold. All the candidates have youths and elders too. The Governors will rig for their parties. Let the governor's and their supporters vote APC and PDP while the suffering Nigerians vote PO. We the sufferers know where it pinch's and no stupid governor who doesn't know how it feels will tell me what to do with my PVC. Let them keep their structure while I keep my PVC. |

Shegzdave: I don’t much to say to you cause you rate Lokonga over Tavares even when the former spent most of last season on bench.. The matches he managed to start, we went on losing streak before Arteta had to pair Elneny (who was almost forgotten) and Xhaka to get better results. You didn't answer my questions. so let me leave it at that. By the ways I'd be the happiest on this thread if he becomes a Roberto Carlos. Shegzdave: To be sincere, I don’t know how someone will say Tavares was our problem last season when it was clearly Lokonga.. Who was sent out on loan to learn? Who did we spent 32m to get a replacement for? Don't ask us, ask Arteta and Edu who was our problem last season. |

iamoyindamola: No disrespect to elneny but if we want to be taken serious we need another DM because city, lfc will roast us with elneny We should go for sander berge we were all over him last season I don't know why we went for viera this season We should let tielemans see if his contract and sign him for free in January Sander berge and a winger will be good for this team Agent odegaard can help us with berge By next season we should be looking for partey replacement I am tired of his injuries abeg I don't blame him though he has played his prime in Spain And he too like sex, you can't mix sex and football together your waist will suffer Elneny is not going to give us what Partey gives. But he is decent as a backup and showed it on Saturday. If we are going to get a like for like quality as Partey then it will cost us huge money, over 50m. We should be grateful for Elneny covering up in games like this and hope that he will give a decent performance if Partey as absent for the big games. The only reason I may advocate for another signing (as if I care about the Kroenkes) is if Partey spends more than 40% of our matches on the treatment table. |

iamoyindamola: He's actually good only you don't rate him I can assure you in the next 2 years he will blow pass lonkonga My only fear is big clubs will start toasting him soon with his performance at Marseille You think he was our problem last season when sambi is the major reason we dropped points Even arteta and the lads praised tavarez alot in AON while nketiah criticized sambi for been too comfortable not playing or uping his game I don't rate him as a full back because of his defensive weakness which as a defender is more important than his attacking prowess. Like I said, he is doing well in Marseille because he is deployed as a wingback which fits him perfectly. Arteta does not use a wingback in his major tactics hence Tavares does not fit in. He has to develop the defensive part of his game to come back to Arsenal. As for Lokonga, he even had more potentials than Tavares before joining us. He was his club's captain which tells a lot about him. Arteta wanted him to deputise for Partey in a role he is not too comfortable with. He is not a CM or DCM as some will call it. Now that he is being viewed as a backup 8, his stock has also risen. He is the reason why we are not going for Tielemans. That means saving us over 30m. Finally to avoid any doubts, as it stands now, I rate Lokonga more than Tavares in terms of talent and potentials. You will see what I mean by the time we start Carabao cup or Europa League. |

daveP: Las las, with the crazy fees we seeing upandan, to slap 50m on him no bad. I'm also relishing he switching or being played as a winger. Just some sharpening and technique left to complete it. He has the runs and eyes for a pass already. He actually plays as a wingback which fits him perfectly. He is not that good defensively but can stretch the wings with ease and pace. If he can develop his defensive part of his game he will be very good. |

It wasn’t a rumor but a fact that Suarez’s release clause was met but Liverpool continued to frustrate Wenger despite the player’s to join Arsenal. So, Wenger did a Wenger thing! He knew Liverpool were not going to sell irrespective, so why not make a joke out of them?
Liverpool got so mad at Wenger that they put that clause. I am happy someone has the full story because a lot of people thought Wenger was serious with the bid. |
