andrewbaba44: Naaa ,we just wan remind una day auba good and that’s all ,and yes arsenal are also doing well without him
From what I have seen about auba,he doesn’t look like someone who cause problems in his team ,he may not be a captain material but I think he is not what the English Media and arteta portrayed him to be Wait until he brings an ashawo inside dressing room, or takes De Jong out on a midnight trip to downtown Indonesia |

Jodera: I tell you bro. Na just correct striker we need now Few of osimhen match wey I dey watch, the guy legit. Him sabi make runs, good in the air and he's Strong on the ball too. Also the guy is good at interplay and he isn't so selfish He also has eye on the goal.... Unlike one Mr Alex Lacazette. But he will be very expensive to get, over 100m. I think the new target for Arteta after Vlahovic jilted us is Darwin Nunez. That guy is also very good but will need good handling. |

kodded: I pray we get Osimeh....that guy na low key beast o He will be very expensive. Napoli got him for 80m. Now imagine how much them go add to make gain. |

Roland17: I have said it before and I will repeat it...
A healthy T. Partey walks into the 1st 11 of any team, if you disagree argue with the wall near you! This man has been magical and impossible to play against. I watch opposing players show frustration as they struggle to close or press him. Baba is too skillful with the ball and his movement is gracious. Without the ball he breaks passing lanes, positions for tackles without the foul...My mind just keeps reminiscing his performance yesterday!
Thomas Teye Partey, this one's for you!
#COYG! Why are you taking the glory as if none of us said the same thing? After you will say I like fight... Nwanne no one is arguing with you. |

Fkhalifa: I've always maintained Auba is a box striker, just surround him with creative players and he will score tons of goals albeit he will miss lots too. He doesn't hustle around or involve in team play that much just as he is atm with Barca. At Dortmund, he had Reus, Micky, Shurley,Kagawa,Pulisic and most especially Dembele At Arsenal he had little to no standard creative players around him... and with the english style of play, if you don't add ruggedness to your game, you'll so be finished, Fabreggas attested he suffered this at Chelsea in his latter days. You are right on this. That's why I was complaining about Lacazette trying to play a false 9 on every word of it despite having creativity around him especially now those wingers are in top form. Auba would have relished these moments. Hence my desire to have Nketiah installed asap because I can't see Laca improving at his age. |

BlueRayDick: We can beat that Tottenham team with Partey doing his thing at the middle of the park and switching play to Saka and Odegaard. The coach just needs to find a way to keep son busy on the other side so he doesn't get a go at Cedric anytime he's played on the right side of our defence. I think it's for our players to get the right balance between pressure to win and the desire. The pressure is on Tottenham because they are the ones chasing, so we only need to realise that and take the game cautiously. The strength of Son is in their counter attack, as long as you don't give him space to run, he will be ineffective. |

Honestly if we finish top 4, I will write a beautiful Toast for Arteta and the team, then demand my commendation.... I am praying seriously. I don't like the injury to Ramsdale. Thank God international break will choo off a week for recovery |

Jodera: I'm not so sure of obalgwe tho, but I know you've insinuated for the sack of Arteta either directly or indirectly. It will be difficult for any arsenal regular poster who posts here frequently not to call for Arteta sack. Except of course that person is not a regular poster at all(maybe just post here or give opinion once in a while)
If you notice, I acknowledged and praised you for saying we needed an Am for our team to be an attacking side and that Arteta hands were tied even when people were calling Arteta names for being defensive and playing boring game. I also commended you for how you insisted our transfer window wasn't in shambles even when most of us here were already crying on how we wasted money on backup keeper and defender when we should have strengthened other area.
...But I was mute about our recent positive momentum in results and how Arteta have transformed the team greatly. You know why??
Cos you've once insinuated that you want Arteta out You are almost spot on. In truth, I have said Arteta out on certain occasions but in frustration when we lose a game. But I have always insisted he should be given time. At least I get some commendation that I have been hungry for. Thanks for keeping the memories. |

50d33q: You mean leno will save that ball on a crowded area Lol Leno's problem is that he lacks communication. I think I have mentioned this several times here. That's the only thing that is keeping him on the bench over Ramsdale. He could have asked Gabriel to leave the space for his claim but behold he almost sent himself and Gabriel to the hospital just for not saying 'sell am' |

Jodera: Lol.. I'm not naive to know that shining in u21 and shining at professional level are two different thing entirely.
So many players have been touted as the best in the junior level but never made it at the senior level while some have made great heights at senior level even when they didn't make much noise at junior level I saw Lacazette at junior level for France. I was also old enough to watch Anelka take up striker responsibility for Arsenal at age 17. I know a good striker when I see one by experience |

Jodera: Lol.. Spy seems to forget that this team is still work in progress and that for now, we should be looking at team balance instead of disrupting the present team balance and momentum for an uncertain fantasy.
We've tried this midfield trio of Partey, odegaard, smith Rowe twice or more this season and we've been overran.
Now that we've got the balance of midfield and attack which include laca and xhaka, he wants us to try something new as if we dey preseason or as if we aren't fighting for something serious. A trial will convince you |

Jodera: We're winning games since february and match and you're saying those two are weighing us down? Not even for an experienced striker mostly but rookie Nketiah
As for the bolded, it would be better cos at least those two are experienced and we know the CV. Nketiah no dey score, no dey assist, no dey have impacts in games but you want make we gamble our top 4 contest on him.
Stop am biko!! Those two limits the overall team performance even though they win. It was clearer against Liverpool because the are a superior side. An FYI, Nketiah has the best goal record for an England U21 striker, better than DCL. |

mostob: If there's any player currently that can play that Xhaka role , it is either Patino or Miguel..
ESR is too attacking minded to play the role. Playing ESR and Ode at the same time will overwork Partey You are right in your own view. But it depends on what the manager wants to do. But an 8 is a full attacking midfielder. Otherwise he is just a box to box CM. I think Arteta wants an 8 in that role and ESR foots the bill perfectly. |

Jodera: Why?? That bolded is very wrong for you to say. No be for middle of season when things don hot we go dey try things and not when we're even getting maximum points (bar Liverpool game).
You mean we should leave the personnels/tactics that's getting us 3 points to try wetin no sure just because you don't like those two? You mean we should gamble our top 4 ambition on the altar of starting nketiah(cos I don't see any tangible reason why he should start)
Wetin nketiah don do sef for him to deserve such?? Please I need your honest answer cos me I don't understand this your benching laca for nketiah My answer is the same, what have we to lose? Those two are pulling the weight of the team down. It will only be a matter of time and they will run out of ideas. It's not like Arteta should make it a drastic change, but that should be aim. For Nketiah and ESR to replace Laca and Xhaka respectively. It could be gradual, but it could be done as long as we are playing this pattern. Mind you, it's the tactics that is working not necessarily the players. Arteta has only just found a way to get the best from his best players. This off course does not include Laca and Xhaka, they are just making up the numbers. We all know, if the last window had favoured us, we could have had Vlahovic and Arthur Melo. |
