funny thing is in Nigeria people look down on these two positions as low class jobs. Here in the states, all those guys who come home to pretend like they are God's gift to the world do exactly those types of jobs because most of them only have a high school diploma and they can't get any other jobs. So they spend a whole year eating instant noodles just so they could go back home around xmas to shine and hook up with all the girls you can't get because they just came from the states. so to get back to your question most women here will say no but that dude working hard somewhere else is possibly doing exactly that same job

Well, if the man has prospects (i mean educated) and is just starting out with the present job to start life, why not. Some Security guards and drivers in Oil companies receive better pay when compared to Directors in the Civil Service. So, Security Guards and Drivers have category, and it depends on the category.

Whenever i hear corruption being discussed, i feel like writing a book about "Corruption in the Nigerian Context" or "Fighting Corruption the Nigerian way". However, i realize that i can never publish this book because Corruption updates and multiplies like a virus in Nigeria. So, what i do is to pray and weep and complain and shout and do what every Nairalander does here, contribute in small measures towards the eradication of corruption.

When i saw this news on AIT, i realize why we are a backward Nation and how illiteracy is celebrated in Nigeria. Even one of the Protesters was asked if she knew that Yerima divorced his 17years old fourth wife to make room for the 13years old and she said, she is not aware of it. I realized immediately that "poverty" has drained the brain of people.

I think if you investigate the EFCC, the Police, the Army, the Air force, you will be shocked at the high profile corruption going on in there. Who will investigate this persons. I think the approach towards corruption in Nigeria should be changed. The Elites have hijacked the country, hence the best one can do is to banish them from the country for like 50years ans see whether their stolen wealth will not be squandered within fews years.
