Though the Poster presented the issue poorly, it is my understanding that what he meant in his question was "when is it right for a landlord to increase his rent and when the time comes, will the tenant inform the landlord that it is time to increase his rent".

@Topic: The truth is that tenant NEVER ask for increase, even if the rent is free and the landlord is also covered by the law if he exploits the avenue that says "say a quit notice at least 6 or 3 months in advance".

Nigerian police uniforms are not the cause of the corruption but the people in the force. Instead of making uniforms without pockets, why not sack all the police force (from IG to korofo) and start a fresh recruitment enforcement standards during selections. Can you compare the Oil company police with our regular police? The difference is clear yet it is the same uniform.
