In an act of sheer bravery, this young Nigerian got into a burning Toyota Prado SUV, in a fire scene, and drove it away from further damage.

This event occurred earlier today at a building on Engineering Close, off Idowu Taylor street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The inferno was reported to have been caused by some individuals who resorted to refueling a power generator directly from a fuel tanker while the generator was still on.

Thankfully, there was no case of human casualty.

Indeed, this young hero deserves some accolades.

LaudableXX:
God bless you for thinking outside the box! cheesy The same keke napep ambulances that they are looking down upon, is being used in India, China, Malaysia, South Korea and many parts of South East Asia, as well as a few Latin American countries. The same India that Nigerians rush to, in order to get specialised medical treatment, because they have better medical facilities than we do. undecided

Many of the people ranting against these keke napep ambulances have not spent any length of time, in a lot of our rural areas where there are bad roads or even no roads, sef. angry In many rural communities, motorbikes are the only means of transportation. In a few cases, cars or small vehicles would get stuck due to the bad roads, and only motorbikes, tricycles and 4-wheel drives can navigate such terrain.

I have seen sick & people being carried on the back of other individuals, and rushed to hospital for medical treatment because there were no vehicles to carry them there. If they had access to keke napep ambulances, would their transportation problem not be reduced? shocked
we have experienced a lot of governors and office holders that did not think in this direction but now we have seen a very prudent and smart governor utilising the state funds in a prudent way how many proper ambulances will be bought to serve a state properly to acquire a proper ambulances we are looking at 5m and for a state we will need more than 100 ,we have other pressing needs the idea to me is highly welcome .nobody will want to convert a keke ambulance for personal use ( in the past our officials have converted a lot of government property for personal use ) even the developed could tries use all these mediums

Nigeria is bigger than kekenapepe as ambulance. South Africa cannot think of it. Nigeria is giant of Africa and giant in crude oli as well. Keke is tricycle without solid balance.
States through internally generated income can provide better option outside keke.
Yes I have been to Uganda not once. Kampala and Entebbe enjoys adequate power supplies. Please name two cities in Nigeria that enjoys 72hrs uninterrupted electricity since 10hrs.
Lagos state might be richer than Uganda as a country yet no power no road, nothing to show.
Ghana cannot discuss kekenapepe in parliament.
My village have ambulance donated by Lagos branch for the community hospital. My village cannot accept keke as ambulance gift from the government.
What is keke? Habbaaaa!!

we have to start from somewhere don't look at it as ambulance ambulance just look at it as a medium to get to the hospital faster due to our road network and the way naija is now yes we have money but corruption has eaten so deep not everyone has a vehicle and in most part of naija moving around after 12 midnight is a problem but if we have these keke in place and at hand then it will help even if better ambulance is provided it might not get to the masses for their usuage even when it gets to them it is just a period of time it will collaspe cause lack of maintenance we dont have to rush into doing things bit by bit bro many areas in lagos enjoy good electricity when i was actually staying in agbara we used to go weeks without the light blinking this was year 2010 (reason being it is an industrial estate and the distribution of the power was organised and done the way it should be my take on this the electricity is there the problem is the distribution and our peoples non challant attitude stronger laws should be putting in place concerning connection and climbing up poles access to Nepa property you see all sort of people going in and out of the transformers up the poles there should be a stiffer protocols to doing these things.Uganda no get road hence the heavy traffic and millions of bikes like flies perching a carcass you have google kindly find out the volume of power ugand as a whole consumes and also find out what lagos state consumes before we start going into the other states

Quipped medical centres doesn't require much. Our government have more than enough to put these in place and functional. Our presidential luxurious and extravagant living can take care and replace kekenapepe with Toyota vans or even Innosson"s brands. Nigeria is not developed to build Aso rock and likes of NNPC towers.
What Nigeria need is honest and committed leadership to upgrade our general infrastructures. Does adequate and steady electricity need development? Ghana is not develop. Uganda is poor as well as under develop. Ugandans enjoys steady electricity and cannot use tricycle for ambulance yet Dongote or one of our retired Generals can finance their yearly budget. Shame to Nigeria.
dont say what you dont know have you been to uganda ? Yes the electricity is steady in Kampala and Entebbe but for the other places i dont know ,the amount of bikes in uganda is so much (more than the people itself) when in most of our major cities bikes have been cancelled .What we need in Nigeria is security and every other thing will work please on this issue of electricity once we work on our security and we know how many we are and you are accountable for whatever you do then it will be solved you have no idea the billions of contract the federal government gives out that is not done and nobody is held responsible for it ,do you know how many rural electrification project was installed and over night the high tension is all gone what took weeks and months to instal overnight it disappears and many more stuffs like this.Another thing dont ever compare those small countries to Nigeria in terms of electricity these places you have called only have few major town in Uganda (kampala,Entebbe) Kenya(NAirobi,Nakuru,Mombasa) most of these states don't even consume as much power as Lagos does alone and we still have other states well developed but in these countries their other states are like hamlets and little villages and they go on solar so get your facts right .How Equipped can a keke be ? we are talking of easy access and transportation to the closest medical facility near these little villages you are talking of equipping the mode of transportation .They should keep buying more when the ones they have already acquired they cant maintain or is somewhere rotting away (go to the sickle cell foundation office in Idi Araba you will see over 20 brand new buses there and it has been there for years more than 5 to 6 years i think not moved just parked there ) and i believe we still have many like these in different government parastatals all over the country #SAYNOTOWASTE# the keke option is perfect for the very remote communities

area. In Yankee as you observed, every emergency ambulance is more equipped than our hospitals. You need not to pay or deposit
money to receive oxygen and blood . Bro keke for ambulance no work. Is a shame. Kekenapepe is not an option.
why people keep comparing a developing country to a developed country baffles me ,for our level and our poor road network first keke option is highly welcome and these should be distributed to each and every community ,cda or whatsoever there should be a village head or community head leave the maintenance and fueling to them ,you have no idea how many people have died just because of no access to transportation in the middle of the night on a daily basis .This keke cant be more than 500k do you know how much a toyota ambulance cost it is close to 10m naira if i am not wrong so if we have 20 of this keke distributed to 20 communities don't you think that is better,in case of any emergency access to it is easy and the patient is taken to wherever they can get help shikena ,instead of wasting it on one ultra modern ambulance that will be parked in the CMD's residence and is not ready to answer or go for any emergency calls

I am going to do a run down of the top 10 female celebrities in the Nigerian entertainment industry who seem to have big gods, despite being small girls.

One peculiar characteristic of all these women is that they love to spend money extravagantly on material commodities. They seem to have an insatiable taste for expensive shoes, designer bags and luxurious accessories and they are always eager to flaunt them.

Another trait they share is that they travel around the world frequently, and when they do they usually fly first class or business class.

Another striking feature of these women is that the jobs they present to the public as their source of income doesn't square with the kind of money they spend. Certainly their god must be supplying their needs from other directions we don't know of.

The last unique trait they share is that they don't have husbands. Some of them did before but are currently divorced. What this indicates is that their affluence isn't from a husband, but solely a product of their hardwork and the benevolence of their Big god.

I don't know about you guys but I want meet the god of these women. Me sef want to fly first class and tour around the world and buy designers. Their god must really love them sha.
It is because of shallow minded people like you the government has to implement a better and more effective cyber bill just like our other African countries have done .Please Op before you write or say anything about people let it pass through these 3 channels
1. IS IT TRUE ?
2. IS IT KIND ?

you are being silly here. Are those ladies up there nollywood Top 10. How much is an OAP paid that she flies private jet. I’d daddy freeze not an OAP ;DHow many have been nominated for AMVCA? Did you see Tiwa or Yemi Alade on that list? That’s because they work for their money and people know what they do. Is Jim iyke flying private jet or Ramson. Oga use your sense abeg. Yes, Africans are crazy about nollywood but the people up there are not ones that enjoy favors from fans. The fans they have are the ones they are role models too.
young man you are still not getting it who told you they pay for most of these things ,it is not top 10 issue here, we all have our favorites when it comes to actors, actresses, musicians and entertainers. Now here is a simple illustration Folorunsho Alakija (nigeria's richest woman) chooses or prefers toke makinwa to other oaps (just saying ooo) they follow one another on social media ,they meet at events cause people like these meet all the time in different places and functions ,they get talking on a one on one level and become friends ,folorunsho Alakija wants to make a trip from lagos to Abuja on her private jet she offers her new found friend an all expense paid trip to Abuja ,her new friend (toke makinwa ) takes the offer and once they are on the private jet she decides to take pictures to post on her instagram that is how most of these things play out okay if you cant understand the point from these little illustration i give up.So how does this show they own this items displayed on social media or can afford them (most are gifts) and how does this show or prove they are prostitutes please stop slut shaming women it is a very bad thing to do .

@ boldes, where is the sense in that sentence? How does productive thinking come into play here? That I chose to make a comment means I am not improving myself.... what a foolish thought? Did you see me spend time looking for what they do when it is glaring their activities have no positive impact on the society. Are you a ritualistic? Why do you have a problem with me mentioning ritualist? Successful people give talks and motivations on how to be successful not flaunting backside or items on social media.
Oga easy easy and digest this, no be quarrel matter flaunting and owning these are their meanings

Flaunting :displaying an item in a very obvious way you want people to notice it

Owning :an item belonging to oneself

.My dear friend you can flaunt an item that you dont own ,so back to the subject most of these women flaunt so many material things on their social media pages but does not necessarily mean they own them it might be for advert, awareness, borrowed or they might be in company of those who own these things or just have ordinary access to these things based on places they visited and all that.

.And who told you their activities does not add impact to human lives do you know how many people get their daily bread from the pictures and stuffs these people put on social media have you heard of the word influencers do you know they actually get paid ? Do you know how many families these peoples activities feed ? Social media and blogging is a very big pool of revenue and the smart ones are already tapping and taking advantage of that (Linda Ikeji is a very good example)

.I am not a ritualist and for you to believe in money rituals my friend please kindly change your school of thought there is nothing like money rituals it is just imaginary made up like the unicorn (does not exist) please kindly give one example of who has done money rituals ? where he did it ? And how he did it ? But i will agree with you if you say people go extra mile to make progress in their various businesses just the way we go to church ,shrine and mosque to pray for success in our various businesses that is more logical .

.Lastly social media especially facebook and instagram is more of a connecting platform with our family and friends and sharing your pictures and moments with them that is the primary reason for this platforms the business part of it is secondary, if you want to share your motivational talks and writings you copied from God knows where go and open your own blog or website.

There is nothing wrong in men spending money on women. There is something wrong when girls who obviously cannot maintain a kind of lifestyle, live that lifestyle. This is not even peculiar to these females alone. We see men do it too. Flaunting stuffs on social media and one can't tell what profession or business they do exactly. The next day we are hearing a guy killing a lady for ritual because he wants to be rich. Young girls now choose these girls as role models. Hardwork is loosing it's place. We ought to promote the girl child participation in STEM but some girl is there looking for a rich man. It's killing our creativity, the youth cannot think out of the box pls don't blame the economy now. Social media isn't helping matter either.
flaunting and owning something are too different things .And for you to actually mention money rituals that explains it all no offence MR,when you learn to mind your business and use your time for more productive thinking and self improvement it will do you alot of good than wasting it on trying to figure out what business and profession people do when what they do is obvious and glaring .

Hello NLs,
I'm too emotionally drained to make sound judgement so I need your contribution on this issue.

I found out recently that my gf has been living a secret life online. My findings suggest that she may be cheating on me... Why? She's been communicating with an ex that practically broke her heart in the past...

She's also frequently communicating with another guy on Facebook who has repeatedly called her my love, honey, sweetheart and other romantic pet names and she has reciprocated most times.... At a point, the guy said he was naked and waiting for her at home... And she said she's coming... I guess they took the conversation offline...

She's also been chatting with several other guys... the ones I saw on FB indicate they're either asking her out or she's outrightly flirting with them...

On WhatsApp, only God knows the content and direction of her chat with other guys...

The painful part is I found out she's been having this online/offline double life by accident... That's a story for another day...

When I confronted her with my findings, she's been claiming she has nothing with any of the guys and that I should forgive her for hiding her online life from me...

I feel betrayed... I doubt if she'll ever change... I just want to move on...

What should I do?
So ? Thank God you said girlfriend not wife if you want her for yourself do the needful (MARRY HER) I see no reason why a woman would flirt around if you are ready and serious about marrying her so what happens to her if she puts all her hope in you and at the end of the day you dont marry her abeg abeg oga if it is not cool with you move ahead wahala no dey dat one

I agree with this. Nigerians would rather call a woman a slut than agree that she can be successful
it is only but natural for men to spend money for women they like and want to become friends with not necessarily a sexual relationship ,now social media just made it easier to connect with these people so there is no biggie in their luxurious lifestyle common sense should tell anyone that .And any man that says he does not spend money on women is a blatant liar whether poor or wealthy .If below average men can afford to give money and gifts of 10k,50k without having sex with the beneficiaries of these gifts what do you expect the big dogs and big boys to give women they like and fancy so OP better stop slut shaming this women that have worked hard to enjoy all the benefits they are getting now
