Foreign AffairsRe: Mossad Agents Disguised As Women, Doctors, Disabled, Nurses To Kill Terrorists by SSpeter(m): 8:28am On Jan 31, 2024

Alamieyeseigha once disguised as a woman to escape from UK.

I'm more concerned about what netanyahu said yesterday that Israel will not leave Gaza after the war.

More land-grabbing under whatever guise is completely unacceptable, Israel should withdraw its troops immediately after the war and allow Palestinians to return to their land.

I salute South Africans for their bluntness and for being the only country in Africa that isn't afraid of Israel, we have more sane people in that country
SA can accommodate Palestinians after the war

PoliticsDangote Turns To US Oil by SSpeter(op): 10:25am On Jan 30, 2024
Dangote is set to purchase 2million barrels of crude oil (WTI Midland) from the US company Trafigura. This is the first time Dangote is buying a non-Nigerian crude. So what does the crude import mean for Nigerians? Dangote obviously would source for the FX used in purchase these oils. Does it mean that Dangote would sell refined products to the NNPC in USD?

Here is the link to the source...

masseratti:
why won't you argue online.. Do you know the meaning of full deregulation? Or what the word deregulate means? Simple English it mean no official control of a service, commodity or goods, if government are still using reserves or borrowing dollars to shore up the value of the naira, that means it's not fully floated, if funny floated every one will buy at same rate, black marketers will run at a loss and be out of business just the same way fuel black marketers disappeared.
you still do not understand what I stated up there

Right about what? Who is the dolt that wrote this for arisetv, the man exhausted CBN FX with the multiple windows some clowns are saying he was right after all, do the geometric calculations of the value of the naira when he was appointed to when he was sacked almost 9 years and see why we are in the mess we are right now, for most of you information naira is not fully floated, if it is there won't be anything like Official rate but just one rate that's all.
Naira is fully floated, sadly we cannot have one official rate because FG cannot meet the demand for the official rate hence there will always be a black market

Since we all can’t come together and agitate for our own country as rivers men

Jamaica is just 4million people

But rivers alone is over 10million

Let’s get our own country with our sister state Bayesla and see how we would live large like Dubai
when we have Rivers as a country, that is when the Ijaws will start clamouring for Ijaw country, Ikwerre will not agree, Ndoni will reject it and the Etche's will say no, then we will Divide again along ethnic lines at that point the Ijaws will say look i am Okirika you are Kalabari, you are Degema you are Opobo infact let us divide and then we divide again....until every kindred becomes a country angry

Sept to August is 12month

You are confusing yourself self with sept 17 date not knowing the agreement is saying sept 1 to August 30 now there is a fight over 1- 16th days

Finally check the tenancy agreement you signed that the referee

Note your tenancy does not start counting the day you made payment as people usually assume, the tenancy start counting on the date agreed and written on the receipt and on the tenancy agreement
you are wrong because if I make the next payment in August then subsequent payment will be in July and the next will be in June. You are guys are just being unreasonable

Questions you and every Nigerian should ask
1 will Dangote sell to foreign customers?
2 if yes 2hat currency?
3 would he sell to those approved local marketers in Naira?
4 if not what currencies
5 is Dangote buying oil at naira rate of dollar rate or the equivalent of dolla but pay in Naira?
6 If he pays the FG in Dollars do we think he is going to sell his products in Naira?
7 if no where does that eave us all these jubilant citizens??
It will be a swap deal same way NNPC has been trading. Therefore there will be no price reduction, unless Dangote produces excess for export that is when FG can see the much needed FX

Jobs/VacanciesRe: I Have Changed Since I Got A Job by SSpeter(m): 9:15pm On Jan 18, 2024
Blitzking:
. That's true but it's collected back in various ways..govt can't provide job..ppl just need enabling environment..power supply that is stable and affordable...good transport network ...security to move from place to place and a stable monetary system...all these support job creation without the govt being directly involved in job creation. If govt begins creation of manufacturing plants it would become cumbersome to manage and won't help in the long run..ordinary refinery they cannot manage...nigeria air way ls ruined etc
It is the responsibility of Government to figure out all these. All the citizens want is a job and a means to feed themselves. It is the function of a responsible government to make it happen. That is why you fire a manager when a team is not performing and not the players. The manager brings in the strategy and the players do their job

Except in a socialist economy..we live in a capitalist economy
Nope even in a capitalist system that is why unemployed Americans get unemployment allowance, and that is so in all developed countries. Even in SA once you register as a job seeker you get benefits from the government. It is Government responsibility to provide job
Jobs/VacanciesRe: I Have Changed Since I Got A Job by SSpeter(m): 12:14pm On Jan 18, 2024
Blitzking:
Of course I know govt shouldn't be involved directly in creating jobs..they should just create an enabling environment but since they av also failed in that regard...they should temporarily get involved in job creation since they av the statistics..they know what we are consuming...they know our production limits and what we are able to produce..they have the information. They should create factories scattered all over the country and employ the youths...startimg from where criminals operate and they should monitor it..cos our leaders know how to share things among themselves. Look at what happened to the 700 thousand jobs they shared among themselves months ago.
Government is responsible for job creation. Government manages our national assets, it is their duty to provide jobs
