Fineman2:If Biden loses this election guess who is coming in ...Trump! Trump that has already started collating names of protesters so that he can start deportation ASAP |
dangoteinlaw:Another shallow mind |
Ofodirinwa:Please delete this, it shows you are too shallow |
NzogbuNzogbu:Believe it or not China and Russia can never be friends. China wants to be No1 or at least No2 but they cannot get that without displacing Russia. Now you have India challenging the China economy with fibre in its body. Did you know TikTok and 10 other Chinese apps are banned in India? Infact India has started producing the iPhone and are subtly telling America that they should dump China and focus on them. There is no love anywhere |

Majesty7:It is normal for startups and new entrants to pay higher, because they need to attract experienced talents. Established coys trained you hence there is a tendency for you to earn lower. That is why people jump ship |
happney65:Did you know that since the refinery had been comatose, workers are still collecting jumbo pay and retirement benefits 😁? |
Mayplays:I believe the fault is from the women that do not tell the boys their place. My mum will tell me do not take the goat leg in the pot it is reserved for my darling (her husband). Back then when my sisters' will cook and there is chaos , she will just walk into the kitchen and secures her husband portion before the hyenas will devour the pot. My mum made it clear that her husband is a no go area hence, we the children know our place. She made us understand that her priority is first to husband then us the kids, and we understood that. |
ST abc115:Stop reasoning like a kid, your wife is above your mum in both hierarchy and priority. There is only one person that can love my mum 100% and that is my Dad. I love and respect my mom but she is not equal to my wife, because she has a husband. |
This is lovely...that touch of brick is dope, in all my properties there must be a touch of bricks. Nice work and good speed. Please I have a question, in two of my buildings I do not like the railings (they are these stainless steel railings often used in banks) I do not like it any longer I am rounding up another building (in the eastern part of the country) and I want a quality railing. Do you know any market in the Southeast where I can get curved quality railings? Perhaps imported ones |
femi4:honour and conscience are luxuries politicians cannot afford |
MeGood91:it is not the wife, we should understand politics. Look if you are in power your closest associates are your ring and they help you run the Govt. When you are very sick, these guys will not want you to step away. They will put pressure on your wife to ensure that you don't leave power because once you are no more, they took will leave power. This happens everywhere and the political class understands this. If a Governor makes you Chief of staff today and the governor becomes ill, will you agree that he should step down? When you are already seeing the future? |
femi4:Even if you want to handover your inner ring will not agree. Imagine you are a nobody and your closest pal becomes the Governor and you are his chief of staff? Now imagine that your pally is sick and wants to handover, bros you no agree. The inner associates knows that the next person will push them away hence they pressure the wife to one corner. Look they might refuse to make any announcement that he is stepping down and cling on as much as possible. For some of Aketi's associates that is the closest they will ever get to the corridors of power. |
Good points you made. People in an abusive/toxic relationship suffer worse fate than HBP and dementia. Albeit, for clarity sake I’ll like to understand your standpoint on this without mincing words. Are you a proponent of being in a relationship even when the union is detrimental to your overall wellbeing?
Definitely people in toxic relationships suffer worse fate, however, we are not comparing people in toxic relationships and lonely people. Furthermore, if we look at the distribution for people in a relationship, those in toxic relationships are at the extreme |
Fair enough. I quite understand that humans are social beings hence the craving for companionship and all. However, it boils down to individual peculiarities as I outlined earlier. There’re many boredom/loneliness coping mechanisms people engage in that doesn’t involve emotionally bonding with another human. Could be with pets, booze, drugs, travel etc. Bottom line is - better to be alone with peace of mind than be in a toxic/unhealthy union with someone else.
It is toxic to be lonely, data on health science shows that you are very much likely to suffer from dementia early also you are more susceptible to HBP and other age related memory loss. It takes great effort to achieve equilibrium when you are lonely. You can get solace in your pet or other addiction but these are not substitute for humans...talk therapy is becoming a gold mine in developed countries and recently in health care business consulting (where I have done a bit of work lately) mental health is pushing a lot of young people out of work...the number cause of a mental health challenge is loneliness |
So who exactly set this benchmark of 45? Please provide valid/verifiable data to back this your claim. So you know, individual preferences differ. Social status, belief systems, exposure, life experiences, . . . make it very difficult to generalize.
My data is from clinical psychology, I am sorry I cannot get the link at the moment, it was a Canadian article on mental health written by Jordan Peterson, you see after 45 there is a high tendency that your former colleagues and friends are either married or are in one form of relationship or another. Furthermore, at 45 our bodies begin to go through another biological phase and we tend to crave companionship. It is not about wealth or not, when I worked in Nigeria I knew very few people who were over 45, had loads of money who were not married but they used their jobs as their companion but at that point you are already close to being an executive with about 60days of holiday, paid vacations but you still see them come around the office. Loneliness at that age is depressing, you cannot shake it off with clubbing or partying unless you have addictions ( drugs , alcohol or womanizing) which are not generally acceptable characters. Even TaTa of India that has never been married said family is what he misses most and he found companionship with his dog. It is what it is |
adonaimart:Stop being delusional wether male or female, we are social beings and if you have no partner after 45, it begins to get lonely, incase you don't know it has nothing to do with money. |
blaise26abj:Nice one, ... "respect me for who I am not what I am" -Lucky Dube |
killsmith:Naaah, a lot of unmarried women at her age will express themselves if given the platform. At 45, it begins to get lonely. |
TheGift:Nothing is a must, but after 45 it begins to get lonely. |
Being single with peace of mind trumps an unhealthy relationship. Y’all should stop these women-bashing comments and allow people do what they deem suitable for themselves. Hypocrites!
No matter the peace of mind, after 45 it begins to get lonely. This happens to both black and white and that is why romance scam will never end, people are lonely and wouldn't mind paying a scammer for the fake attention. I have read interviews where the women said they had an inkling it was a scam but they were just too lonely and wanted a companion. |

Never marry a prostitute, Never! |
Jesuisbelle:Love means taking care of your responsibilities |
DARLINGTON869:My Grand mother of blessed memory said when she gave birth back then, her husband would tell her to go and call another lady (his babe) and both of them would go to my grand dad's room for a good time and she would even prepare fish soup for both of them, cause immediately after pregnancy she is unable to copulate. A man can truly love his family and still bite pomo outside |
We4all:That is not true |
Myhusband:Never! Unless she is a prostitute, a lady must first like you before you both can have consensual sex. A man don't need to see your face, just present the ass and boobs and he is good. Why do ladies get angry when they have sex with a guy and the guy tries to give them money? That is because only a female prostitute can have sex without feelings. Never a marry a prostitute |

Maybe they want to use you guys to test waters. An established coy was paying you #170k and a startup wants to pay you double for doing the same or lesser thing? The startup will definitely not last
