All these people were/are office holders, and yes they were/are useless The names I gave you are names of 'kingmakers' in Yorubaland, Adedibu's, Tinubu's Majority of politicians we have today were selected by those men They could have changed the course of the country but are all crooks and poorly educated thugs. Firstpage: Why don't you mention obasanjo, Falae, Gbenga Daniel, mimiko, fayose? Tell me any of these that have Yoruba interests at heart, not their personal interest. The only true Yoruba leader was Awolowo. |

Buhari's coming has made Nigerians weary of Fulani's which is a very good thing. If Buhari loses in 2019 I just pity their outcome because they have no allies in the North anymore. |

You have to understand the problem here. After Awolowo there has been a slew of Muslim 'leaders' in the SW NONE has put the interest of the region 1st. They are either fighting for Arabic in schools or crap like that Lets put Yoruba 1st Firstpage: But you started with the insult. Forgot so soon?
The point I'm making is Akintola is a misguided extremist just like some misguided Christians like ffk who are ready to sell the SW to the ibos. But you can't just represent the whole faith with some handful of misguided individuals. There will always be a Judas in every twelve. I have even called for the arrest of Akintola in one of my posts here. |

LOL why do Igbo's pretend to be Yoruba on NL? True the Gani Adams are sizable in number but a typical muslim would agree to the Islamization of SW without thinking about the consequence. Mention any Muslim Yoruba leader that loved his people like Awolowo Their priority is always on the religion not the region. ie Arabic in schools, new mosque projects, Hajj etc Prove me wrong Moneywomen17: islam does erode culture but be true to urself people like akintola are incredibly low in fact to the stage it’s an anecdotal evidence not the norm in Yoruba land. People like Gani Adams one of the people who has been forever pro Yoruba in everything he does are in the absolute majority in Yoruba land. |

Stop with the insults on a faceless forum it makes you seem like a child Who cares about the Igbos? If you think Igbo's are united then you are the misguided kid here Yoruba is not a some super power, Islam does erode cultures we are witnessing it in real life. Keep pretending Akintola doesn't have like minded people to your own detriment. Firstpage: From your first comment I quoted, I knew you are just a brainless dolt. You take the words of Akintola to represent all the Muslims in the sw, but see the words of the Alaafin as that of an individual. Which of them carries more weight?
You misguided kids are playing into hands of iboes who are trying to divide yoruba into Muslims and Christians without minding the osu and freeborn dichotomy in their midst, not even the real and fake Igbo issue. |

The VERY sad part is some conflate Hausa/Fulani culture with the Arabs they want to be, They have willingly submitted the custodianship of the religion to the Northerners. A people who have to score less than you to compete academically is in charge of them spiritually! It would have been funny if it wan't so close to home. bigfish3k: most of them have been ceded to the fulanis bc of same religion. they are no longer yorubas in their hearts. they are now muslims before yorubas, they know this in their hearts. they are only yorubas when they want to share booties. they are best useful to their religious lords than their Yoruba tribe; they are suspected to perform espionage activities against their tribe for their lords in the north. Yoruba Christians should open their eyes, these people are deceits. once again KUDOS to the alafin for speaking up the truth as against the political oba in lagos ass licking his Fulani masters |

Akintola is already bringing the muslim/christian paradigm to Ekiti State. You might call him misguided but he represents the biggest muslim group in Nigeria I am Yoruba 1st then a Nigerian. But some are Muslims 1st then Nigerian 2nd and then Yoruba. They even deemed it fit to change their Yoruba names that have glorious meanings REAL Yoruba's are waking up and asking why it is only in Yoruba muslim areas that Fulani are kings and kingmakers Even the so called 'Imam Yoruba' said the exact same thing! He mentioned lack of representation from muslim Yoruba states which he belongs to (you should listen to him) The Kurds bear Kurdish names, the Arab bears Arabic names, the Iranians bear their names but Yoruba muslims wants to be Arab in name, language and sometimes in dressing, but in their ignorance they equate Hausa/Fulani culture as Arabic Even though the bible and koran talks about Tribes from begining to the end, I was speaking to a Muslim who happens to be Yoruba about Ilorin and he emphatically claimed he would join the muslims if a territorial war breaks out with Oodua, and I never doubted him, after all he is the son of his fathers in Ilorin and Kwara Firstpage: You are taking me as someone else. I only pointed to you how brainless you are. Too many impostors these days claiming what they are not. A true Yoruba man wouldn't be caught in Yoruba Christian and Muslim foolish talk. The Alaafin is a Muslim individual while Akintola is a misguided individual. A smart person would not generalise based on individuals. |

You are the type of youth that needs to get a passport and travel around Africa and then maybe Europe Mediocre citizens mediocre leaders Gov't officials are human beings, they always push the limits and see the crap they can get away with With this type of 'I see no major problem' (just like your father's attitude) you are dooming your children's chances of a normal life DrMuzungu: Except if some serious thunderstorm hits the area, I see no major problem with this. Has anyone been in Bauchi, at their old airport (the one in the middle of the city)? Ticketing counter on the outside, part of the "terminal" building facing the tarmac, waiting room for some 20+ people (unusually comfortable old-school chairs) and the baggage inspection/storage in the corner of the same room. New airport is one entirely different story. Then, look at the new Owerri airport. even before the renovation it was functional. Now it is even better. While the PHC airport was undergoing renovation (what renovation?!?!?! Nothing had changed during that so-called renovation) Owerri served as the backup/alternative airport. Everybody knows Lagos, both old and new terminal. On the old terminal, some Arik staff deserve to be locked up forever, but that is still manageable. Enugu airport is cool as well... and so are few other airports.
Back to the topic. I see no problem with this canopy. Is it safe? I guess so.Does it protect from rain and hot summer sun? Yes, it does. In any case, it is far better than what PHC airport had back in 2013/14 while the "renovation" was still under way and a lot of ticketing would take place in the open. |

Hmmm the Slow implementation of the Broadband policy by the Federal Government, Failure to deliver electricity which was the FG's number 1 promise and the number 1 requirement for e-commerce Failure of the FG to invest in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and big tech in general Lastly more Nigerians are falling into poverty hence less purchasing power to patronize Konga, SBG04: Oga firstly, Europe is not a country! Secondly, there is a tax holiday scheme in Nigeria called the pioneer status tax. Start ups are granted tax waivers spanning a couple of years after establishment. Please you seriously need to read up on things instead of coming online to call me a learner when its you that doesn't know anything.
