A popular Nigerian novelist said: you do not enter a house and ask for a chair when the head of the house is sitting on a mat. |
He should clear his debts please. What nonsense is this? |
I just pray to Go we did not field an ineligible player in any of our matches as we did against Algeria in the WCQ and got docked 3 points. |
bianconerriii:If you do not know what to do, then you are fool. |
I remember in 1984 when Super Eagles played Ethiopia in Lagos. Fans were throwing bread at the Ethiopian players (the country was going through an excrutiating famine at the time). In the return leg, the Ethiopian fans beat the daylights out of the Nigerian team and supporters club. Some were stabbed with bottles. It was scary. Fans have done crazy things. One time, Lagos fans hit Onikan stadium and flogged ACB players with horsewhips after they lost a home game. Mane is lucky he was only booed. |
I remember during my secondary school days, in the inter-house football finals, we were mobilized by senior boys to boo House Blue and cheer House White. Of course House White eventually won the game. When House White was 2 goals up, more of us were mobilized until virtually the whole school was booing every touch by the House Blue guys. Their captain simply went berserk and fouled the House White top striker and he was given a red card. A loud eruption greeted the referee's red card. If you have been the recipient of such jeering and booing, or the "one by one, dem don dey go" chant, you will understand. Fear fans o! Ask AC Milan goalkeeper Donnarumma what happened when he tried to force a transfer. Fans started throwing 20 euro bills at him during a game. As in: "you want more money? Oya take". |
ekanDamie:Can you not setup a business in Naija that will give you N144,000 a month? Tourist visas are for holidays and visitations. They do not give work rights. |
lagostaxiguy:Must you use the GTB app? What happened to the good old *737# with all the multi-layer security features? |
Ranchhoddas:Oya, you that has clues, help him get Uber to recover his money. Ewu! You are talking as if you are in the US, or as if the OP lost his money in Europe. This is Naija. The OP can NEVER get his money by going to Uber. His delay in even going the Uber route has already proven costly. You are still talking of a hypothetical situation which can NEVER work in this environment. |
I do not even know exactly what you wanted Uber to do in this case. So if you mistakenly pay money into someone's account and the person is working in the Ministry of Works, is it the Minister you would be harassing? |
Ranchhoddas:You are stupid! Was Uber around when the careless OP sent a whole 1M to another account without bothering to cross-check the details of the account? Uber's only liabilty here is the inflation of the amount for the fare. Uber only gets involved if the police obtain a court order asking them to release the driver's details to them. In case you do not know, the details of the drivers working with Uber is confidential information (covered by privacy laws) which cannot be released to just anyone. Even the OP has no authorization to get the driver's details. These can only be released to the police via a court order authorizing this. There are processes which must be followed and these are standard all over the world. Since you are too dense to know this, I have decided to educate you. |
Uber has no business with this. This was entirely due to your carelessness. So leave Uber out of it, and do as the poster above me has said. |
Blaksheep:The bolded shows you do not know how solar systems work. Please do some reading. |
omu4364:Watch it bro. 1 in 5 South Africans are HIV +ve. |
7Alexander:I am talking of guys who have played the left wing back position for Nigeria in years past, not central defenders. I know what I am saying. I did not just throw names. |
MsGood:Taye Taiwo that just overlaps and cannot recover to defend. Have you watched Ben Iroha, or Mike Emenalo or Bright Omokaro? Perhaps you only started watching Super Eagles in the mid or late 2000s. |
Carmal90:Are Buhari and Atiku the only candidates here? We have the likes of Kingsley Moghalu, a Ph.D holder and former central bank deputy governor who was the brains behind the 2009 rescue of the banking sector. But for him, many Nigerians would have lost their life savings to the likes of Ibru, Atuche and Akingbola and the other thieving bastards preying on bank customers' funds. There are also other cerebral candidates here. Sound intellectual guys who have what it takes to drive the country to the next level. It is like APC and PDP has cast a spell on many Nigerians. |
salford1:You nailed it. I wish people can hear the stories behind the privatization exercise carried out by OBJ's adminstration, which had Atiku as chairman of the NPC. You will not believe the things that these politicians have done to this country and the future generations. Now he wants to come back to continue from where he stopped. Anyone who claims to be Atikulated is a very big fool. |
TonyeBarcanista:This is actually our problem. We are always praying. Yet God has said that we should have dominion on the earth. Even for the tiniest issues that God has already given us ability to fix, we are still praying. The 2 plants that have the greatest yield of biodiesel extract (Jatropha and the oil palm) are found in Nigeria. Jatropha in the north; oil palm in the south. Yet we cannot develop alternative fuels for our vehicles. We are always praying. Are we the only ones entitled to God's attention? Is Nigeria the only country out of more than 220 countries that God has to pay attention to? Don't get me wrong. I am a staunch Winner and a Christian, but I have come to find out that our continuous method of having religion without righteousness is a big problem. People go to places of worship on Sunday and Friday, and the rest of the week, they are either swindling govt of time and money or doing some other thing. I have just returned from a meeting in my area where I am in the estate executive. I pay my security fees to the letter. Yet there are people who are owing us 16 months, 2 years security fees with impunity. They keep saying things are hard, but they are able to buy new cars, buy rams for Sallah, loads of rice and chicken for Christmas, and other stuff. Yet they prefer the estate security to starve to death and they cannot be bothered. Let me not even talk of politicians and the polity. When it comes to squandering money on women and parties, there is no holding back. But when it comes to minimum wage issues, then they remember that we are just coming out of recession. I lived in this country as a child where we were given milk, biscuits, sandwiches and all kinds of goodies as school feeding. Not the total crap we are seeing today. I once came back from abroad and the Naija police at MMIA were following me like flies, OPENLY BEGGING FOR MONEY in full police uniform! Everywhere you look, it is utter chaos. What kind of country are we in? Nigerians wake up! |
Elcapitol:Correct the bolded: the love of money is the root of all evil. Money answereth all things. Money is the response to a solution meeting a need. Perhaps your problem is that you are praying too much or praying the wrong prayers. Have you checked the street you live in? What are the needs there? I know a widow in my area who goes from house to house washing clothes. May look demeaning, but at least her kids are feeding. |
More countries needed. |
Another fool about to bite the dust. Can't they learn from Emmanuel Eboue's experience? |
The DSS should not get itself entangled in politics. |
ECUADOR Tourist visa: Nigeria is one of the only 12 countries that must get a visa BEFORE going to Ecuador. Visa is for 90 days, and can be extended for another 90 days. Special consideration can allow for a further 180 days extension (must have health insurance and proof of funds of at least $400 per month), making a total of 1 year that can be spent there on a tourist visa. Resident Visa: Can be applied for either when you are on a tourist visa in Ecuador, or from outside Ecuador. You need police clearance, marriage certificate (if applying as a couple), health insurance, birth certificate. All documents must be notarized, translated and apostilled. You must first apply for the 2-year temporary resident visa, and after 21 months, you can apply for the PR. Temporary visa allows travel out of Ecuador for no more than 90 days per year, from date of visa issuance. Year 3, no more than 180 days outside Ecuador. Year 4, you can leave for no more than 180 days. After 4 years, you can leave Ecuador for up to 5 years and still retain your PR. Categories: a) Investor visa: $30,000 minimum worth of real estate, business investment or $26,250 in bank deposit, lodged with the central bank, PLUS 3 months bank statements showing inflow of minimum of $400 per month. b) Pensioners visa: Individual inflow of $800 per month, or $900 a month for couples. c) Professional visa: Must have Bachelor's degree or higher in approved universities list. Must have bank statements of minimum of $400 per month inflow. d) Rental income visa: Must have $800 inflow per month shown in bank statements, plus $100 for each dependant. Citizenship Can apply after 1 year of PR, but must not have left Ecuador for more than 90 days. So if you can learn Spanish and would like to take a break from the hell in Naija to another country where conditions are far better, BOOM! Go for it. |
baro24:This is from someone who has done that journey before with his own ride. First, the gridlock on Lagos-Ibadan road is something you need to pray you do not encounter. Try and leave Lagos early. Next, you will be stopped by police virtually every 5km. If your papers are not correct or you are driving a tinted car without a permit, you will have boatloads of problems. You will also encounter the customs guys at three points: Okpella junction and 2 others. Roads: bad roads await you in the Kogi angle of the journey. Make sure your car can withstand the stress. Luckily, the rains have stopped so you may find the roads between Kabba-Obajana or between Okene and Lokoja more tolerable than they were some months back. Fuel: you will have to leave Lagos on a full tank. Top up in Akure, possibly another top-up at Lokoja so you can enter Abj with at least half-tank. Verdict: not worth the hassle, considering you will do a return leg, which means all the hassles X2. Save yourself the stress and either go by air or by public trans. You can move around ABJ comfortably without your car. |
The fact is that most Nigerian visa applicants are dishonest in their filings. A guy once called our training centre that he needed a certificate to show he has a certain skill just so he can apply for a category of the Australian visa. Of course I told him off straightaway. How do you just want to buy a certificate when you have no skill, just so you can wangle your way out of the country? This is not proper and stuff like this are now affecting the honest ones. |
So he had 11m in his account, and he could not buy Ledger Nano S wallet of 36k to hold his cryptos. Besides, how was his email authorization and 2FA compromised? Ain't he dumber than he looks? |
Buhari out, Osinbajo in. As for OBJ, he should be facing justice in the Hague for the Odi massacre. |
ramselly:You have goten a foretaste of what is to come. This is no wife material. |
gypsey:You still remain a fool. Eat that. |
gypsey:Are you not the biggest fool here? Your likes are the ones who take money to vote in incompetent leaders. What does it take to replicate this on a national scale? |
If you can become a President in Nigeria without WASC, what need do we have for PRESSID scholars? Does the man on top know what is called "human capacity development"? |
