Next time, call the Swift Base (Swift Operation Squad) or you call SARS. I don't know where in PH you stay. I would have advised better. Also, explore getting a legal firearm you can own and go to ACID base to license it. |
seunfly:Which people in Nigeria are called "Calabar" people? Don't the tribes that live in that state have names? Is there any "Calabar" tribe? Too many Nigerians don't know a thing about the Geography of their country and you are one of them. |
There are some kinds of talk I cannot have with other ladies, no matter how long I have known them. Just too disrespectful to my wife. |
An average Igbo man can always be bought. At the right price. Very saddening. I am yet to see a true Igbo leader who will stick to a cause to the last. Afterall, even Ojukwu took off and left the job of saving what was left of the Biafran population to Philip Effiong his 2 i/c. Is it not the same Uwazurike who was selling the so-called Biafran passport? Unbelievable but not surprising. |
hahahaha Quit notice: where? By the time soldiers will use them for target practice they will know that this is the seat of govt. |
A bank staff approached me similarly in 2004. He had a massive shortage and needed to pay because he faced a sack. I took a chance and gave him the money. He saved his job and paid me back the next month. It's been 13 years since, and I have not seen him again ever since. Would I do this again? Probably not. Tomorrow if the guy becomes president, will he remember me if he sees me? I cannot tell. We do such things as unto God really. You should only lend money you can afford to lose. |
No be MMM? Useless comedian. Why did he not receive advice from a Biafran? Let him receive sense abeg! |
NwaAmaikpe:Mr Indomie generation, let us educate you a little. There is a difference between the Empire Games (now Commonwealth Games) and the Olympics. Nojim Maiyegun is on record as having won the first Olympic medal for Nigeria. We did not win any more medals until Peter Konyegwachie won a silver in the featherweigh boxing division in the 1984 Olympic games, in a match where he clearly beat Meldrick Taylor but was robbed by the judges, who awarded it 5-0 to Taylor. The 1984 Los Angeles games boxing event was marred by several outrageous judging decisions to favour the American boxers, and Konyegwachie was sadly a victim. I personally watched that match when it was shown on NTA with Fabio Olanipekun of NTA doing most of the coverage of the games as the anchor. It was as a result of the boxing robberies of the 1984 games that the computer scoring system was used to replace the human judging system in the 1988 games till today. Emmanuel Ifeajuna won a Commonwealth Gold for Nigeria in the 1954 Empire Games. Sadly, as one of the Majors who planned the 1966 coup, he has consistently been overlooked on the honours list. It is also noteworthy that Col Odimegwu Ojukwu had Ifeajuna, Victor Banjo and several others executed by firing squad on what looked like trumped up charges of treason against the government of Biafra in 1967. That's a history lesson for you. So now you know about Maiyegun and Ifeajuna. |
All for N30,000 a month. Naija youths. Make una receive sense naaa. |
You are in a club, you cannot use a bottle to scatter the army man's head! Nigerians are too cowardly for words. During my NYSC, a corper broke a soldier's jaw and was decamped. The furore the incident created made NYSC to call the guy back to camp and the soldier was forced to go treat himself and his hanging jaw. Stand up for your rights. Nonsense! |
I want my old 3310 back. |
michealdeco:Since when did Igbos start having kings? I am aware that what was available were the Eze Nris who were clan heads. There was no such thing as Kings in Igbo culture. The concept of having Igwes was a borrowed culture. Go and read about why the British preferred to work with Northerners using indirect rule. That in itself, is the basis for the amalgamation of 1914 which we can all see only served a British agenda and was nothing about uniting the tribes that make up Nigeria. In case you don't know, Britain supplied Gowon with most of the arms that were used in the civil war. How can Nnamdi Kanu who claims to be the new saviour of the Igbos, be carrying a British passport? The passport of those who contributed to killing 3 million (not three thousand, but three million) of his people? What a paradox! Hypocrisy of the highest order. Those who are kneeling before this charlatan are all fickle minded nincomps. |
Zikaviirus:In Igbo culture, do people kneel down to talk to titled men, talkless of untitled men? |
I remember Tyna Onwudiwe more from her days as co-presenter of Kessingsheen Hit Show (1986 or thereabout). The commercial from AJ Seward, the makers of Kessignsheen hair shampoo and sponsors of the show, stuck in my head: "good secretaries are hard to find, I think I"ll keep mine. Thank you Kessingsheen". The days of the Jerry Curl hairdos. Can't believe 30 years have flown by just like that. |
Danladi Bako and Onyeka Onwenu - 1st pic Pamela Mojekwu and Onyeka Onwenu - 2nd pic Pamela Mojekwu and Danny Gwira or Femi Segun- 3rd pic Danny Gwira/Femi Segun and Tyna Onwudiwe - 4th pic Danny dated Pamela. They had a messy breakup. Pamela also had a falling out with Onyeka. Won't mention the details here. |
BORNTOSUCKPUSSY:You nailed it bro. To almajiris, any Southerner is a "nyamiri". They don't know who is from South West, Niger Delta or Igbo. |
Nbote:Let us not reason like kids. If he had swallowed drugs, his digestive enzymes would have opened the packaging and whatever drugs inside would have killed him instantly once this had happened. It takes a maximum of 24 hours to occur. Baba Suwe was in custody for close to 2 weeks. When nothing was expelled, the NDLEA now said he used juju to make it disappear (imagine what a law enforcement agency would claim in the 21st century). Baba Suwe filed a suit and on the strength of the evidence, he was awarded 25 million in damages. The CBN should be compelled via a court order to withhold this money from the NDLEA account to pay Baba Suwe what they owe. |
deedeedee1:Then what happens to the other 247 or so tribes in Nigeria including mine which are not part of the 3? |
Kai! 48k for a month's labour. This is money some people spend feeding their dogs in 2 weeks. Surely, a man's earning power has to be determined by him early in life. |
Was it not here on Nairaland that someone said he forgot something in his office, went back for it and met his boss and some spiritualists mumbling incantations and he heard his name called? |
Ordinary Fulani herdsmen invading their villages, they cannot tackle. |
Edu3Again:Do you know the meaning of "land locked"? At least Northern Nigeria is bordered by Niger, Cameroun, Chad and Benin. What countries will border your new Biafra? I am waiting for your answer to this question. |
AmuDimkpa:What resources do you have? Do you have a single fighter aircraft or air defense system? If war breaks out, where will you get your supplies from when you are completely landlocked? Don't you know how the war was won? The moment Cross River and Rivers states were taken, a full scale blockade began. In case you don't know, more than 2 million Biafrans died from starvation alone. |
The only people spreading this hate agenda on both sides are: - illiterate or have little education - not exposed - have probably never travelled - probably only speak their native dialects - probably married from their tribes Those who are more empowered and exposed and who know that we all depend on each other for one thing or another cannot be part of this so-called Kaduna Declaration or the IPOB-styled Biafra. |
This guy is in a lot of trouble. Why all the posing with a private jet, imitating Davido who if for some reason the guy's money goes down, can still fall back on his father's billions? |
doyinbaby:No, the day they decide that it will be 10 herdsmen for every one farmer killed is the day it will come to a permanent stop. it is said that an eye for an eye will make everyone go blind. I say in this case, that 10 eyes for one eye will make the oppressors go blind faster and oppressed will be spared! ![]() |
OluchiDelly:Without cobs is the usual way it is measured, i.e. shelled maize. meanwhile 4.7 tonnes per hectare is quite impressive given the challenges. |
