pip love-vendor:This does not apply here. This is a clear case of stealing a customer's funds. Several brokers do this believing that nothing will happen because of geographical distance. It takes one aggrieved customer who raises enough dust to get them to stop. Some of these so-called brokers are even businesses operating from a house and run by one individual. That is why traders must be careful whom they deal with. In the US, the CFTC and NFA is there. In UK, the FSA is there. In Europe, the European MiFID regulation makes it obligatory for brokers operating in Europe to be regulated by this common body. Why would anyone want to open an account in a broking firm outside of these coverage areas? It is like attending a university that is not licensed by NUC. |
IykeD:So seriously, you expect that the millions of Winners members in 53 countries where we have churches should all come down to Lagos and enter private jet just to prove to goons like you that it belongs to the church, as if we are jobless people who do not know what to do with our lives? Where do people like you keep your brains when you are writing stuff like this? |
I am defending my church because I am part and parcel of the programs we have there to touch humanity, especially our communities. Winners Chapel has thousands of branches nationwide, even in interior locations and we are helping to spread the gospel as well as attend to the immediate body needs of people such as food, clothing for widows and orphans, etc. I have personally given out money and my best clothes and shoes many times for this cause. Why is it that people only talk about private jets when they refer to Winners? Anyone who is not part of a church to know what is being done there HAS NO RIGHT TO COMMENT ON ANYTHING. It is not your money being used to sustain the charity activities so if your money is not where your mouth is, SHUT UP! ![]() I have never entered the office or the official vehicle of my own boss where I work, so asking me whether I have ever entered the private jet which was purchased exclusively to aid the international travel of the Winners top pastors who have to attend speaking engagements in several continents in a week and still head back home to minister on Sunday and Wednesday is absolutely irrelevant. MUST I ENTER THE PRIVATE JET WHEN I HAVE NO BUSINESS DOING SO? |
My brain was too clouded today with issues that I failed to spot the candlestick confirmations for the bearish move on gold today. Aw, snap!

arsenefc:I would personally love to put a bullet from a Dragunov Sniper Rifle thru ur head, you son of a motherf!ucking he-goat! |
I guess sometimes poo happens, but better safe than sorry. |
We do not need to borrow jack from TB Joshua. I have a staff who is HIV positive. Whenever she tells me of the experience she was subjected to in the hands of TB Joshua when she went for healing, my blood just boils seeing the man on TV or even hearing his name. All the other churches you mentioned have been in operation long before TB Joshua. Winners Chapel is 31 years old. Christ Embassy was already doing a lot of work in the early 90s before the TV broadcasts of the miracles now started attracting crowds to the church. People are too myopic and talk what they do not know. Winners does not believe in using TV to showcase charity. Indeed when you showcase charity so you receive praises of men, you lose the essence of giving. It is clearly in the bible. Jesus said that your right hand should not know what your left hand is doing. In that scripture, He clearly outlined the principles behind giving. It is possible for someone to give and that act will be rejected by God. Not all acts of giving are counted by God. It may move men to praise you to the highest heavens, but the intent of your heart is what God looks at. Besides, the planes people keep talking of do not belong to Bishop Oyedepo but to the church. When a man is working for a company and is given an official car and house, does it mean they are his? When he leaves the company or retires or dies, doesn't the property stay with the original owners? Why people blind themselves to logic is unimaginable. |
^^^^ Good question which should remind us all to be open-ended about issues. |
blink182:Tb Joshua is only known because he televises his charity work. That other churches do not plaster their giving on TV does not mean they do not do it. Presently, my own branch of Winners is sponsoring a day care, primary and secondary school. And the money comes from tithes and also contributions from church members to cater for orphans and the needy. Everything is provided for: uniforms, books, facilities, teachers' salaries, etc. The children who attend do not pay a dime. My own money has gone in there and I know what it is used for. That is why I get incensed beyond limits when people on the outside who don't know jack about what goes on in the ministry only zero down to talk about private jets. Bishop oyedepo has given out several cars to church members and held auctions to sell off more at highly reduced costs. This I know for a fact. The Winners Church is HEAVILY involved in charity work. When I mean heavily, I mean HEAVILY. This is also why I have always quarreled with those who criticise the catholic church. I am not catholic, but I know that the catholic church is heavily involved in charity work even though they do not broadcast it. besides, who are we to judge? Is it not left for God whom we all worship to judge on the last day who his true worshippers are I really don't know why people decide to become myopic when it concerns church. |
Instafx or whatever you call yourself, You better stop posting these your signals you want to use to entice newbies into your scam broking firm. We have just heard stories of how one of us here was taken to the cleaners by FigFX. Now you are here touting Instaforex which Odiaero claims is still holding his $32,000. Be warned! Some of you touting these scam brokers may soon face the music. You see how FigFx calmsly said that Aguiyi's Nigerian IB has been informed, roping the IB into something he probably knows nothing about! |
Silver.

If you are short on gold and silver, this is a huge watch out call; an ascending triangle is forming on each of the charts. The coming hours may produce a stunning upside breakout. |
Big lesson! Don't just open account anywhere. This is dollar we are talking about. odiaero:He can take it to forexpeacearmy. They will take it up. But you fit finance the trip. Afterall, you are a dollar millionaire are you not? Sponsor the trip for a share of the settlement payout. |
Seychelles is not far. it is right here in Africa. Go there, arrange with a corporate/criminal lawyer to sue them for $10million, promising him 50%. The bad publicity will force them to settle you out of court with maybe $500,000. I bet you, this will work out if you dedicate your heart to it and not giving in to the voices telling you it cannot be done. |
mrinfo:And have you ever asked yourself why senators are collecting N15million as allowances every month and their counterparts in the HOP N12million? Bankole who was accused of taking a N10bn loan to pay himself and other lawmakers allowances is walking around Nigeria free on bail, and even nursing ambitions of a comeback to politics. Watch out how his case will die a natural death like others before it. Stop this stupid campaigns of calumny against men of God and face your own business. If you are asked to come out to demonstrate against social injustice in our country, you will not talk. Have you gone to Abuja to see where the ex-militant leaders are living? What legitimate source of income is paying for all those? You are there running your mouth off over Oyedepo instead of paying attention to more pressing matters. Nonsense! ![]() |
OP, stop deceiving yourself. See how satan wants to tempt you to rob God. God is not greedy. He has only asked for 10% and let you keep 90%. Yet you still want to take even the little 10% God has given you. As for all the stu!pid atheists here, the 10% and 30% personal and corporate tax you are paying to the Nigerian government; what has it been used for since 1960 Nigeria became independent? Who dey talk? When you people go to your shrines and occultic covens and you are asked to sleep with mad women and submit human heads, body parts, your close relations and all what not for money, political positions, etc, is that not the tithe you people are paying to the devil, which by the way never stops because you need to keep renewing whatever it is you get there? May God strike all of you with judgement ad infinitum for blaspheming His Name! Nonsense! ![]() OP, take money from your 90% and help your brother. Better still, help him sort himself out. Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Shikena! |
Looks like I am going to start binary options trading next week. One has to maximize all these pips raining like water everywhere. |
I would be more comfortable at shorting gold closer to 1680 (which is the near-term resistance). I am not comfortable shorting at current levels; the markets are still looking crazy. Same with Dow; I would be more comfortable going long at closer to 10550-10600 levels. Where the price is, my account may suffer; me I no dey for any crazy drawdowns. |
Once my boys are of age, they are getting shipped off to boarding school. My first year in university was spent living among cult members. I had to start learning survival instincts I should have picked up earlier. |
The OP himself is deluded. He has withheld the money he would have used to pay tithe. I think he wants to use the money for some other purpose. How much is the tithe that you want to use to pay school fees for your friend? How much is school fees? School fees is not N2,000, or even N20,000. The dude has enough money to help his friend. Now he wants to rob his Maker in the pretext of paying school fees. |
harakiri:Let me address some of the bolded points. Many bankers are skill-less. In today's world, anybody who wants to make it has to acquire skills outside the regular stuff you get from the university. I did not attend any private schools. I went public the whole time. My secondary school had no functional Physics or Biology labs. I learnt practical Physics from PN Okeke's Practical Physics textbook on my own. The first Physics experiment I ever did was during the SSCE exam. I made an A2 in Physics, and an A2 in Biology. If I had relaxed and said "oh, there was no functional lab in my school", what would have become of me? Most of what I use today to feed myself and my family are skills I picked up outside of what I studied in University. I understood that to survive in this world, one has to be versatile, and many bankers don't have that. Did Bill Gates or Steve Jobs go to conventional universities to learn how to write computer programs or build computers? THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS LUCK IN THIS WORLD. We have a saying in my language: that when an individual agrees to make progress, his God will also agree with him. The first capital for my business was N500. Yes, N500. I crafted a business idea, used N500 to print out the advert on A4 and shared it out on the streets. I made N42,500 out of it and the rest is history. So anyone who languishes in his pitiful state by saying there is no capital is just deceiving himself. The journey of a thousand miles always begins with a small step. I know the ex-banker's problem; having tasted the perks of banking, he is probably too proud to engage in certain "demeaning" ways of making money. There is a woman who used to live close to my house in one of the Northern states. I got to know that her business of frying plantain, akara and yam at night was giving her N40,000 daily. Honestly the day I heard it was the day I made up my mind that I had no excuse to be a poor man. The ex-banker should wake up! |
harakiri:Utterly nonsensical analogy. OP, let me also tell you what you need to tell your brother. Someone close to me also lost his bank job in that banking tsunami. Since then, he has gone back to school and today he is a lecturer. What I have discovered about people working in banks is that 96% of them are skill-less! Once they are out of banking they can't survive on the outside. Tell your friend to go and acquire some extra skills and be employable again. And don't give me the crap about him not having money to pay for anything. There has been a time in my own life when I was selling items moving from office to office and from house to house. And I was married at the time. And the situation created all sorts of marital problems for me. But I got out of it and today I and my family are very comfortable. Your guy needs to look inwards and get himself and his family out of the situation. He needs to get his hands dirty in order to get them clean again. That is my candid advice. |
Pay your tithe: it is God's money. hen go back home and help your brother from your own money. Do not try to be smart with God. |
Yes, a perfect way to start the month of October. |
mekaboy:Again faulty analogy. I can point to several photo labs that are still raking in cash like there is no tomorrow. There are two in Abuja I know. One of them has opened three branches in 2 states in 2 years. When you keep living in manufactured untruths, you will be bound by them. An internet marketer once said: the only limitations are the ones we place on ourselves. There are cafes that are seriously booming. Perhaps you do not know that technology is also advancing in that area, as there is now technology to run several systems from one central processing unit. It cuts start-up and operating costs (lesser power consumption, etc), and provides better admin control. There are other value-added services that can be run in cafes. I have knowledge of several of them, so if you want to keep living the lie that cafe business is dead in Nigeria, good luck to you. |
Blog icon:I actually shorted the GBPJPY at 120.50 because I noticed that this was a resistance point attained sometime ago. |
PayoneerTe:I have a point to make which your company should take very seriously. As you may notice, in Nigeria snail mails are not sent to addresses (except maybe office addresses). They are sent to PO Boxes. This policy of not using courier to send your cards and requiring that they are sent to addresses and not PO Boxes is greatly affecting many Nigerians. In my case, the last card I ordered was sent to my previous office address. It was there for months before I asked someone to check it out for me out of curiosity. It was found in some of myold mails which were about to be shredded by the company I used to work for. This was after I had applied for change of address which obviously was not done. You need to start shipping to PO Boxes where we can be sure they will not be intercepted. Look into this seriously. Thanks. |
mekaboy:VERY FAULTY ANALOGY. Do you know that there are places in many states in this country where people travel distances to make calls? What I see here is that there are many people who do not travel the length and breadth of Nigeria to know their country. There are very few states I have not visited in Nigeria. This helps me a lot in my business because I know areas where there is a great need for services like cyber cafes. Many areas! I say that with plenty of emphasis. When setting up a business, viability of a location is something that every business owner should consider. Why would you open a cyber cafe where there is hardly power supply? Power supply has improved in many places and i can tell you that I know several places where cafe owners will not spend up to one hour in a week running generators. Where I am now typing this, the light has not blinked in 4 days. I feel many of the problems being listed here by several persons are over-hyped! One thing I have noticed about Nigerians is that we are too pessimistic. If something is not working for a few, then that thing must be bad. I seriously beg to disagree. |
segiade:This guy, you have not had an experience. Until your funds are cleaned out, then you will know how very dangerous these hackers are. When hackers have succeeded in penetrating the websites of the law enforcement agencies in the US, you think your own Payoneer account is safe when you have provided 90% of the tools that they need to do the work. |

and yet, their quality of life is 900 times better than Nigeria. You'll rarely see people dying of hunger in those countries or children begging in the streets. Compare that with a "god fearing" country like Nigeria where people don't give a damn about no one but themselves.
