Not wrong, but not wise. So no, I would not do it. |
Blog icon:This post is oozing of sense. Preach it brother! |
Na so the other day, one soldier whose breath was reeking of hard liquor stopped our bus on the way to my village and demanded to search everybody's bag. He only stopped when I dropped some military slangs that indicated affiliation to the armed forces. This is why this country has gone to the dogs. Who monitors the activities of these people when they are on duty? They drink, smoke ganja and do all sorts, and woe betide you if you fall into their hands. Na God go save us o! |
Nigeria is only a failed state to those who cannot access the bounties of the treasury. Now that Abati is feeding fat from the largesse (Beaf sorry o), how can Nigeria still be a failed state to him? haba mana, bros must chop! ![]() |
I remember when he used to present a program on NTA on Sundays in 1991: was it Down With Sprite or something? (can't remember the name now) Then our only source of modern music videos as cable and DSTV were not yet in Nigeria. Wonder what has come over him. First it was the altercation with Jim Iyke in a club. Now this. Na wa o! |
BOMANY:The reason why the exchange rate did not drop to N200 in 2009 was because the CBN began to intervene to prop up the Naira at N150. All it takes is for the CBN governor to wake up one morning and declare that the Federal Govt can no longer keep depleting foreign reserves to support the currency, and that they want an "appropriate value" for the Naira. Then you will see a free fall to the true value of the Naira based on the state of our economy. |
OP, stop trying to scatter your friend's marriage by posting such nonsense here. Who made you guidance counsellor over your friend's marriage? That is how you modern women go about gossiping left right and centre. Is your friend's marriage your problem? Why don't you leave your friend and her husband to sort out their issues instead of coming here to post arrant nonsense? ![]() |
E be like say this landlord wan make BRF use am open show!h |
But again, the SNB move does not solve the underlying problem. If traders short the EURCHF massively in a safe haven move, that 1.2000 peg will require an unimaginable pull on the Swiss foreign reserves to buy off Euros and Dollars to sustain it. If the SNB is stretched to the limit, will we see a collapse of that peg? The rest of this year in the Eurozone is a very interesting scenario! |
If the SNB keeps buying Euros, this will drive up the currency against other pairs. So Euro shorters, beware! |
On 6 September 2011 the Swiss National Bank set a minimum exchange rate of 1.20 francs to the Euro saying "the value of the franc is a threat to the economy",[12] and that It was "prepared to buy foreign currency in unlimited quantities.”. In response to the announcement the franc fell against the euro, to 1.22 francs from 1.12 francs and lost 9% against the USD within fifteen minutes. The largest fall of the Swiss Franc in living history. This has effectively ended the safe haven status of the Swiss Franc, because all traders now know that the Swiss Franc will NEVER go below 1.2 to the Euro. |
This video was first talked about by a "lamola04" here, and the moderator in the Romance section removed it. It was even on Youtube. My question is, why did the moderator remove it when that video could have been used to track down the b.ast.ards that committed this crime? Something to do with 2go? |
OP, Report the landlord to the relevant authorities. By law, he cannot eject you until he has given you a quit notice 6 months in advance. Either way, the law is on your side. The problem is that many people do not know their rights and even when they do know, they are afraid to exercise it. You need to shake the landlord and he will fear you from now on. |
The problem with Nigerians is that we do not sit down to think out ways of making money, but prefer to fall for easy money tricks. Always our bane! |
I have never fallen asleep in a business meeting, during sex with my wife or other important occasions where maximum attention was required. Why would I sleep during a service where I meet with my Maker? It is unforgivable to me and that is why I make sure I have enough sleep on Saturday night. No midnight calls, no late night movies and no working late on Saturday night. |
Nigeria is in chaos indeed! The Nigerian government sent a rescue and they turned it down. What else do they want? The UN? Send a rescue? The UN did not even rescue the Tutsi when they were being macheted and their women being raped by the Hutus. What says they should come to their rescue now? When people despise the country of their birth, what right do they have to ask for help? |
OP, Your father should know better as a full-bred African man, that courtesy demands that he inform the head of the household when he is coming, which is your husband. Is your husband answering your maiden name or is it you answering your husband's name? |
So what? Look for a university you can afford and go there! Must everyone attend church-owned university? DUMB post if you ask me. OP, keep your miserable change to yourself. God does not need your money; His work can go on without it! |
They both make me sick! ![]() |
Let me say it here categorically: If I was the leader of the Transitional Council, I would have done the same thing. How many rebel insurrections in the world have ever succeeded on a stand-alone basis? Kosovo was helped by NATO's demolition of Serbia. The Rwandese Patriotic Front (RPF) got a lot of help from neighbouring countries to take out the Hutu government and end the 1994 genocide. Let us face facts. Which country will spend millions of Euros or Dollars in arms, ammunition. logistical support and food/medical aid to help a rebel group just like that, as if they don't have problems at home/ In global economics and politics, NOTHING GOES FOR NOTHING. All the people given political appointments here in Naija were all contributors to GEJ's campaign one way or another. The Libyan rebels simply used what they could offer to get what they wanted. So make una 4get all the BS yans about slavery and colonialism and all that balgerdash. I support what the Libyan rebels did 100%. At least they have an ideal they are fighting for: FREEDOM! Our own government officials were busy selling off our public companies to their cronies and pocketing the monies. What ideals are they fighting for? |
ABJ- Buying price is N158 to $1. It is coming down fast! |
There are millions of Nigerians who have VERY ROUTINE DAYS filling job applications and walking up and down the street with no money in the pocket. I do not want to talk about many that stop me daily asking for money, or several of my old friends who are jobless who call me EVERYDAY for job. So OP, if you are tired of your job, you can exchange your routine job that pays you six-digit figures, for another routine job of filling applications with no pay attached. Choose. |
There is no big deal. This is a normal security protocol when an unidentified aircraft does not communicate with the control tower. What happens is that when contact is not established, the host country will scramble fighter jets to intercept the offending aircraft for airspace violation. Once in the air, the fighter jest try to get a visual. Hercules aircraft are usually of the C-130 variety; these are mighty aircraft painted in military camouflage. There is no way such an aircraft will be allowed to land without identification. Like someone said, they are even lucky they were not shot down. The Soviet Union shot down a Korean civilain airliner that strayed into Russian airspace in 1988. |
How much is that truck? |
I can get you a dispensing pump, but a new one. I don't deal in tokunbo stuff. Not for such items. |
That is it with these undergrad girls. All they know how to do is to phuck for money. Simple! |
OP, You are being insincere with yourself. You are lucky you have a man that as you said in your words, still loves you. I live in Abuja where the norm with men is to sleep with as many women as you can lay your hands on. If you found yourself in the same situation as many of the Abuja wives, what would you do? As for your husband's unemployment situation, I have seen too many cases of men who were broke today and millionaires in less than 6 months. It is never an excuse to pull off a divorce. Do you even love your child? If you do, you should never even mention that word. You do not know what divorce does to children. I urge you to go and read the story of Senator Patricia Akwashiki, whose husband was sentenced to death by IBB for coup plotting in 1986, then had it commuted to life sentence on the eve of his execution, and spent 8 years in prison before he was let go. If that lady were to open her mouth and tell you what she suffered during her husband's incarceration, you will know that marriage is not a bed of roses and only the strong can determine that they will pull through and survive. You should get close to such women and learn from them. |
I have always said it that these World bank and IMF stooges we have as finance ministers in 3rd world countries have nothing to offer. We are watching to see what the second coming of Okonjo-Iweala is going to bring. All those who keep pointing to having Nigeria's debt being forgiven by the Paris Club are yet to point out how any of the so-called economic wonders this lady did has translated into better life for the common Nigerians. These elitist policies she is pushing will only push us backwards. Na today? Mscheew! ![]() |
The ignorance of our people knows no bounds. |
There is one already booming in TransAmadi area of PH. |
Sorry, but I was born to meet only my granddads still around. Both of my grandmas died in their 40s. SO I never experienced any of that. |
