Okay, Athiests keep saying open your mind, what does that even mean?
I live in Port Harcourt, for years l lived in Port Harcourt Township, the heart of all the cult groups, and them fighting for supremacy. Without warning they are in a hot pursuit after an opponent, and before you they are cutting their victim down, but for where, knife no dey enter. You think what you heard about Egbesu boys were fake?
Oga, I for one, do not go looking for where these things happen, I just come by them, and am forced to observe. How do i keep an open mind when before me, i see a man being hacked but the knife wont cut through?
Which is more convenient to believe? A blunt cutlass or juju?

I've seen your several attempts to argue here. I understand the feeling. Cognitive dissonance. You should realize that the human mind is very susceptible to illusions. People that understand this can do wonders with it. No odeshi warrior can survive the firing squad. Never happened. Never will. Ruminate on that. OPC, Bakassi Boys and all shoulda been recruited by the UN for peacekeeping missions and all, but where are they today? Fooling the gullible. When the whites came back then, our juju couldn't stop them. In fact, the Awujale of Ijebuland admitted in defeat, "no fit for fight with white man"..I don't think the Ijebu Warriors then didn't have juju. The only place juju works is in movies. I'm not trying to convince you though, but I understand why you believe what you believe. Trust me, that you (and others) believe in something doesn't make it true. My 2 cents.

hahahahaahh hear yourself, you bought an anti malaria drug manufactured in a company where bill gate is the investor and you say he gave you a 20% discount,i would call that good marketing strategy ,by the way i would advice you to check which sickness that drug gives you because bill gate believes the world is over populated and some people should be killed, definitely not whites.so that leaves people like you
It's actually an 80% discount if your maths skills are half as sound as your comprehension skills (which doesn't seem that sound too), and it was subsidized by his foundation, not that he was an investor. I won't argue with your ilk so as not to derail this thread. Get well soon bro.

This point(refrigerated vehicles) will be a sort of lifesaver. But alas, Nigeria currently lacks the skills for their maintenance and handling. Even those who import such trucks eventually remove these components
There's no big deal in their maintenance. I did my IT in a company that imports fishes and guess what, we had hundreds of refrigerated trucks to service and all. My point is, there are professionals who handle such. Na wetin dem dey take feed dem families be that.

you're right it shouldn't be a get-rich-quick scheme and there is a lot of risk on agriculture. Every business may suffer a set back, I'm looking for someone who knows what to do at the right time. And to all the scammers, let them try. I ignore most Pms and treat any entreaties for money as if coming from a criminal. Especially when the words "Christian/Honest/Good/ Suffering Family"etc crop up in a business conversation.
At the emboldened, I must add that the 4 of the people that have done me strong things in business fronted with 'Pastor', Alfa and 'Church elder'..I told the church elder guy the moment he mentioned it that if he had anything good to offer, he wouldn't front with that. Let his operational pedigree speak for him. I tested him with small money and he frustrated my life with that. I was glad the money wasn't more than that. I have done biz with honest religious people, but it wasn't among their pitch sef. The moment someone mentions his or her religiosity in a pitch, I now know better. Easy peasy!

Which throws up more questions.

10 million naira transfers, to whom?He just told us he disguised his Nigerianess to get better bargains, so I assume his sellers are Cameroonians. That's an international transfer. We both know how that works and even the fastest takes 3 business working days and has lots of restrictions. Transfer just 1 million as an individual alone and your name would be flagged by EFCC. It is part of the anti money laundering act.

Also we have to understand most of these sellers are illiterate and unbanked and if you have ever been to any large agricultural market. It is a purely cash to goods business. Also, you can buy in bulk but there's a limit to the bulk buying. Just one person can never have 7000 baskets. You may have to pick 400 here, 300 there, 1000 from another. Which throws the hypothesis of transferring in bulk to one single person out of the window. So how did he pay them? Carried 56 or 70 million around?
Who was he transferring to then?

Also the tale about him sending J5s without escorts just opened his yansh. Yeah some Hausa biz men maybe trustworthy but you would be damned to send your goods without a motor boy whom you know from your side to follow them. The share scale of logistics involved would be amazing to pull off. It would be a nightmare .

Also you have to understand you pay duties on products to and fro Nigeria. Cameroon is not jus adamawa that you stroll over and they just allow you take produce out like that.

There are so many loopholes in his story that anyone that scratches the surface would know this is impossible and more like fairytale.

I guess he would have his audience who believe all these stories though, since most of his followers are just out of school or naive undergraduates who have no idea whatsoever.
At the emboldened, this is more than possible. I send trucks from different parts of the country down to Lag without escorts and nothing happens. Risky I take it but there's like an unwritten code of conduct amongst drivers, especially the ones you get through Dan Commissions. Your goods are safe. Risky but possible. Love your skeptical approach though!

Respect to your constant demystification of several businesses. Nice one. How do you take care of the perishable nature of the goods given the looming possibility of unnecessary delays? Do you insure or have plans of using refrigerated vehicles? I'm thinking scalability and sustainability. Would appreciate a response.

Kudos.
Christianity EtcRe: Is Tithe Card Necessary Like We Can Find In My Church? by stainlex(m): 11:05am On May 08, 2016
haywire07:
I don't really need to start explaining the importance of tithing.
Of course we all know paying tithe of every income is necessary but I attend a church where every tithe you pay is recorded in a tithe book with a your name boldly written on it .
The motive behind it is definitely not for show off but I don't feel convenient with the fact that the deacons who will count the money would know how much and how regularly I pay my tithe.
Secondly, we tithers are asked to come out every with our tithe book for prayers before dropping it in d tithe box. I feel shy doing that , especially when I think of those girls who will be like "hmmmm, haywire don dey pay tithe , d guy don get money b dat" .. I feel so inconvenient.
The truth is, I've been unable to pay my tithe for a while now, though the cash is intact .

Today is Sunday again and am still bothered.

Thanks

Sir don't be smart by half. I saw your post on odechi but decided it does not worth my time.
IF odechi works, I assure you that it would have been IMPOSSIBLE for the British to Colonize Nigeria. Even Yorubas have "Ayeta". But the british came with their guns and defeated us and we surrendered. They plundered our lands and stole our heritage. We were no match for them.
Let me ask you a question and be honest, would you prefer our government to spend on giving our soldiers Odeshi or on buying advanced military gadgets?
So stop fooling yourself.
I read about one comment the Awujale of Ijebu land made during the invasion of the British back then...The man seke straight! Tell him odeshi woulda made our military might surpassed that of the developed world o! Tell him.

I am a Christian, admittedly not a fire brigade type of Christian. I have followed the story and comments from the part 1 to this very second part and I must admit that I have learnt one or two things. However, I have some reservations which I need you guys to help me quash by making things clearer.

I have seen some of you guys proclaimed "I am a Satanist", "praise be to Satan" and the likes. Each time I see comments like the ones I highlighted above, I feel that you guys are sounding contradictory and that really gets me more confused. So my questions are :

Do you guys actually believe in the existence of Satan to warrant such comments? If that is the case, are there any proofs that s/he(Satan) actually exists? But if that is not the case, why do you guys make such comments?
Sarcasm bro!

Actually, when our needs our sufficiently met and our governments are not corrupt, most humans in a society can be expected to act cooperatively. Maladaptive levels of selfishness are usually a result of unmet needs or real/percieved threats. In Japan (a mostly atheist, well-developed country with sound government) a person can put down their purse in a public place, come back in an hour or two, and it will still be there untouched. You can't say the same for somewhere like Nigeria - because people are poor and desperate here, and there is a lack of group cohesiveness due to corrupt government & other underlying societal factors, which are fixable.

Well for one, we were not "created". Our existence was preceded by generations upon generations of pre-modern hominid species. Our selfishness & other "flaws" are precisely a result of that - we are ANIMALS. Animals with advanced prefrontal cortexes and upright motion, the two primary features that allow our incredible capabilities & skills - but still animals nontheless. 50,000 years ago before agriculture was developed & civilizations were erected, we were hunting and gathering and traveling in packs. Without being selfish and competitive our species would have DIED OUT long ago. Self-preservation was absolutely required for us to make it this far.

In the modern day many of our innate drives can be maladaptive, for sure. But there are ways to overcome that - education, mental practice, and societal progress are a few things that can absolutely help us be better for ourselves & our fellow man. No gods required.

One thing that pisses me off about the Abrahamic religions is the demonization of humans & our nature that it must employ, in order to convince us that we are so desperately in need of "saving" from some external source. All of our flaws played an important role at some point. Throwing them under the bus is spitting in the face of all our ancestors who got us here in the first place BECAUSE of their selfishness, aggression, and self-preservation. Not to mention every single positive advancement in humanity thus far has been made by HUMANS, and when we look around us we can see that altruistic, kind, innovative, and cooperative people are among us who do NOT need gods or hell threats to "keep them in line". We need to erase this dismal view of humanity religion teaches - it's poison.

And this is a meaningful existence to you? A playtoy for an egotistical, murderous & petty invisible man? It sickens me that religion causes people to devalue themselves in such a way.

False. Humans did not come into the picture until 200,000 years ago. Millions of species were flourishing for eons before we came along. Ever heard of dinosaurs?

And all extant animals have progressed from where they were billions of years ago - just because it isn't HUMAN-like progression doesn't mean it isn't progression. There are so many species that could easily destroy an unarmed human with reflexes & strength not even the strongest bodybuilder or wrestler could muster. Species with eyesight & hearing several times the precision & clarity as ours. Species with the ability to survive in environments none of us could bear for a day. As I mentioned earlier, the increased development of our prefrontal cortexes is the ONLY thing that makes us so unique. Other animals have their own unique & valuable features that have enabled them to survive for many more generations than our species has.

Like someone else mentioned, this is precisely why it would be ridiculous to assume that the supposed creator of the trillions of galaxies in this universe would be so concerned with the activities of a single species on a single planet. Especially with such petty and inconsequential details, like how/why/with whom we engage in sex, what we eat & wear, who we give our money too (which itself is a human invention). It makes no sense and is quite frankly just silly when examined from an objective eye. Yahweh, Allah, etc. are an obvious invention from 1st century human beings who had less knowledge of reality than a modern 4th grader.
God bless you for this post!

I know my comment appears oxymoronic but I like am like that. Be free to choose any of the available gods for the blessings tho'..;-)

The order of life is for the man to be the breadwinner. When that order becomes reversed it only leads to chaos. A hard working woman can only be successful in marriage with an equally successful and independent man.
It's not about the order, it's about the gross irresponsibility of the man. It's one thing to be broke (as the natural bread winner), it's another thing to be stealing from your wife, cheating on her, and mentally abusing her. There are numerous families out there where the wife is the breadwinner and they still hold their grounds. In this case, going by Tiwa's statements if true, TBillz woulda still messed up if he were the natural breadwinner. Thank god say him broke sef!

To be fair, if he was paid to MC an 'occasion', then the number of minutes he spent is irrelevant as some people have been implying. He wasn't paid to appear, but to MC! His services end when the occasion ends. He was well aware of this and that was why he brought a side kick along to continue wherever he stopped..and then gave the excuse that he went to grab some food. That's some gross dagbo if you ask me. Op, get your legal people to meet his legal people and reach an understanding. Stop bragging about your 'connections'. You don't know who he knows.
