@ snappyfingaz, did your sponsor get another Letter of introduction from His employer for ur second application or did you used the same one u used for ur first application.

I am about to reapply this first week of January, and my sponsors letter of introduction is from Sept which I used for my first app on Oct. Can I use it again? same with with my police clearnace , should I get another one. My application was refused 3 weeks ago

How would u print a statement of account on 3/12/2014 and stamp it 15/12/2014 date,if u r the VO what would think? Put yourself in the position of the VO when making application...morever waiting till jan for the fixed deposit to mature won't make ur application late,instead of rushing and raising red flag for urself...

I was never considering doing that, it's between Applying with the current statement/ fixed deposit or waiting till January when the fixed deposit matures into the account.

@standupguy As long as it's not more than 30days old when you're submitting the app, they have no reason to be that investigative. But like I always suggest, these guys probably have a way of verifying the account status during the processing period. So even if the bank stamp is the same day as the closing balance date, I don't think it's just that closing balance that will be used to evaluate the account. So whether you decide to wait it out or not, just ensure the account is well-funded throughout the processing period.

The money in that account just sits there, as my sponsor works in a bank too and has no time for other business. She only does fixed deposits and treasury which empties into the same account.
She didn't give that account for my first app.

( it might feel like hiding something on the days that weren't printed up to the current date).

So my options are:

2. Wait til january when the fixed deposit clears then print the statement and apply.

I know people here have be given TRVs with fixed deposit but i was refused when i applied with treasury bills hence my reason to be weary of Fixed deposit.

It wasn't your point of strength, i think you should have left it out.
I have seen people put there University transcript but thats only because there first degree was outstanding so it considered a highlight.
Well no one can be sure though.

Yes Conestoga gave me a slightly related course, i have been working on my SOP to explain to the VO the relationship between the programs (They are in the same school of study) and the fact that my previous program has only January start. so i will be refiring soonest.

I have also come to realize the mistake in my previous app, which @ justwise and @Mantiger helped me realize.
The resources were there but where wrongly presented for the VO's review. My sponsors probably got too cocky because my brother was already sponsored my the same sponsor.
I will also advise you to take a look at Pchax's SOP, it was very detailed and explanatory, its also advised his strength more to the VO.
I am refiring soonest because whether i re-app now or next 2 yrs, it is still going to be the same documents i will submit so the sooner my live has a direction the better for me.
I will make sure to present it here for scrutiny before my final submission.

No such thing as too early, the earlier the better. I learnt it the hardway way.

applied for admission with them since early Feb this year, becos I wanted the bapt program badly, ignored all the admissions I had with other schools, friends told me to forget sait, even here on nairaland but I was stubborn.
when I saw they weren't forthcoming after the Sept state date passed, I was put on wait list for january, till now I am still on there wait list.
I finally used one of the admissions I had since May to apply on October and I was refused last week.
No time for 're application I am current looking for admission afresh .

So, the news I thought I will never have to share again...the most dreaded "DELAYED" so I finally got my passport today, and I've been denied the 3RD TIME, and at this point I don't know what else to do, whether to deliver my big head to CIC or what? I submitted every thing submit-able. I'm devastated, the way I'm seeing it, I won't bother to reapply again mbok....the stress of reapplying for the admission, even if I attempt again it will be for masters (gmat is compulsory for Management courses) and I nor even get. By the time i might have finished getting new admission and ready to reapply, the Medicals I've already done in October for don expire. So for now, I rest my case..lol....


BTW Congratulations to all those who got theirs, wish you all a very safe trip to Canada . And for those of us that got delayed, if you have the grace, Repackage and Refire people's cases are different, and sure urs will work....

I collected my passport yesterday with the Visa on it. Thanks to God! Also, I appreciate this community for letting me "disturb" them with some bogging questions. Details of my application are below.

BACKGROUND AND TMELINE:

I submitted online on the 28th of September and did my biometrics the next day.
I used a sponsor (my dad) and a co-sponsor (my brother in-law).

DOCUMENTS:

NOTABLE EXCEPTIONS AND RISKS TAKEN:
1. Did not submit my SOA
2. Did not submit my NYSC Certificate
3. Scanned all the documents with my Tablet with poor lighting. Had to photo edit each document to make it readable atleast.
4. Did not pay school fees
5. Non of the documents were notarized neither was an affidavit sworn. They were all on plain A4 sheets. My sponsor had no letter head (retired and not working). My co-sponsor had a letter head.

Please feel free to ask any questions concerning the application package. I saw the format that I employed in the application on a Pakistani forum where TRV hopefuls meet.

Once again, thank you all and wishing us all more TRVs. I give all glory to God.

No May or Sept intake,just January. I am being reviewed for a slightly related program i found on there website.

asin i jes weak...all relevant documents were tendered....being following dis forum 4 a while nw...so i was very careful....SOA was 3.8 m after payment of fees....sponsor was my dad...hes a professor so gud inflow of cash montly...only 2 dependants my self nd my younger bro...nd we noth done wiv service....i currently work @ an ICT firm. I included employment letter....i studied elect/ elect 4 first degree... Nd m going 4 information systems security in fanshawe college....i also av mu ccna/ ccnp so its a related field...i included it in my SOP.

Thank you bro, and I agree with you 100%.
My application lacked liquid cash. I acknowledged that from the first post.
Which was as a result of working with a difficult older sibling who wouldn't give me SOA with cash and insisted that cash flow was what they needed, which someone already said could fly for a tour visa.

Most certainly I needed to debate this to get the best insight.

Just wrote algonquin to know if they take scanned email copies of transcript. i find it hard applying to any school that doesn't offer online application.

You are being unnecessarily defensive for nothing, you still don't get it.

You did not answer the question.....is the 25m her business profit or her business capital? Did you include her tax certificate? How many people did she employ in her business? E.g tax certificate will give an idea how well the business is doing. Your sister can only sponsor you with her net profit and not the gross.

Having 25m in her account as a business woman does not mean that she can afford to sponsor you.

The most important thing is cash availability for you throughout the duration of your study.

There was no tax certificate, have no idea where to get that, i also had a co-sponsor, care to through light on that too?
The truth is she was meant to be a co-sponsor, just an added advantage but i decided to make her the main sponsor when the supposed sponsor (still my sister was being difficult and won't give me the exactly same docs my brother used last yr and an SOA of 85naira) i was forced to switch there places. I guess it backfired on me

Omo thats a bloody long time, mine said i should look for another program and my file will be reviewed.
So bascially i am looking to have them review me for a related program will also apply for another school.
Funny how i had 4 admission this year but ended up utilizing none.
Now i might be looking again.
